An institution which creates and organizes accessible information resources both local and remote based on information technology, remains to be one of interesting topics discussed by academicians and practitioners in Library and Information nowadays. This digitized infor-mation which is called as ‘institutional repository’ relates to one of researches in digital library management. This repository is developed not only to provide access easily and globally or to create digital archieve as long-term stable resources to ensure their quality and survivability, but it is also addressed to institutional prestige and excellence. Therefore, it is more often viewed as institutional ranking both national and international that we call as the webometrics repository. However, librarians have challenge and opportunity to compete for the best insti-tution in organizing the repository. The competition has been lasting among PTKIN’s libraries (libraries in State Islamic University) which participate and devote highly attention to organize and develop their repositories. In this case, how do the PTKIN libraries organize their reposi-tories and to what extent the organizing has impact on ranking webometics of repository? This paper is trying to elaborate addressed to the questions by doing research into six PTKIN’s libraries using quantitative method. Indicators to evaluate in organizing the repository use the same indicators as webometrics’ standards. They are size, visibility, rich files, and scholar. The findings show that organizing the repository has been conducted by three PTKIN’s libraries (UIN Yogyakarta, UIN Jakarta, and UIN Riau) which reached the higher score from 1 to 3 respectively. These results are in line with place of three institutions in ranking webometrics. Meanwhile, another three PTKIN’s libraries (UIN Malang, UIN Bandung, dan UIN Makasar) have very different score with the aforementioned three PTKIN’s libraries. The repository of last three PTKIN’s libraries shows that there is no one of them registered in the ranking webo-metrics. In conclusion, organizing of the repository in six PTKIN’s libraries has relevant impact on the ranking webometrics.

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung misi perguruan tinggi sebagai lembaga induknya.UIN Sunan Kalijaga yang sedang merancang sebagai world class university perlu dukungan dari perpustakaan dengan perannya sebagai research library.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi perpustakaan saat ini dalam mengambil peran sebagai research library. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, untuk menjawab tujuh unsur penting yaitu kebijakan perpustakaan, teknologi, kenyamanan dan kelengkapan fasilitas yang tersedia, koleksi perpustakaan sebagai pendukung pembelajaran dan penelitian, layanan dan perhatian pada pemustaka, kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak and kompetensi pustakawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sudah memenuhi 7 unsur tersebut yaitu kebijakan yang mendukung, teknologi yang tersedia seperti tersedianya workstation gratis, akses internet gratis, tmesin peminjaman mandiri melalui MPS dan MPK, mesin foto copy, OPAC, dan institutional repository. Fasilitas penunjang yang nyaman juga tersedia seperti ruang baca, kafetaria, ruang berAC. Unsur lain seperti layanan untuk pemustaka berupa layanan referensi dan layanan khusus berupa difabel corner, koleksi yang beragam baik dari segi subjek, bahasa maupun kedalaman koleksi, terjalinnya kerjasama internal maupun eksternal dan kompetensi pustakawan. Akan tetapi di beberapa elemen belum maksimal, sehingga perlu untuk ditingkatkan lagi di beberapa sector.

The library is a service unit that becomes a source of information that has great power because it covers a variety of science ranging from economics, politics, art, health and other sciences. As we know that the library is important for us to introduce to the community, especially to students or students who are very necessary to support the education that is being pursued. One way that can be done to introduce the library is to hold a library promotion ucer education program created by the library to bridge between the library and its library and as one way or strategy to promote the library. This article discusses the implementation of ucer education in upt malikussaleh university library using lecture methods, audio / videovisual, demonstrations or demonstrations and also the library playbook. The obstacle faced is still the lack of librarian knowledge about the importance of ucer education activities in the library and also constrained at the time and location. Efforts that can be done is to provide an understanding of the importance of the implementation of ucer education in the library to library personnel and librarians in the library and should ucer education also be done online.

AbstractInstitutional repository provides an opportunity for visitors to be able to access the collection or information owned by the library without having to come to the library. Through the institutional repository of the library helps promote the scientific publications produced by the academic community and business will be able to increase the number of citation from a publication. The management of scientific publications using the institutional repository is already contained in the Circular Letter of the Director general of higher education decree No. 152/E/T/2012 dated January 27, 2012 about the Publication of Scientific papers (S1, S2, and S3) and the Circular of the directorate of higher education No. 1864/E4/2015 dated 15 July 2015, concerning Credit Score Assessment (PAK) (Lecturer must be able to be traced online). But seeing the urgency the application or use of the institutional repository is not all institutions of higher education implement it. One of the only private high school in Yogyakarta . Interestingly the agency has not been applying the institutional repository.This study uses a case study research Methodology qualitative. A Single approach Grounded (embedded research), as a guide to conduct and determine the flow of the research. This research was conducted by direct interview, the main data Source in qualitative research are the words and actions of the informant is a librarian. However, to maintain the privacy and good name of the institution, the informant did not deign to mention the name of the college/ institution in the research. Results and discussion : 1) a Lot of Things That Should be Prepared; 2) the Limited Fulfillment of the Needs of Implementation; 3) the Demands On the Application of the Institutional Repository Conclusion : it is Necessary the presence of the ability of human resources management and technology resources and information as well as the commitment of the institution to the organization with the support of the entire academic community members in filling the content of institutional repository. As well as his involvement the role of librarians as a profession that is in charge of going to this documentation.Keywords: College, Institutional Repository, Library, Librarian, Policy. AbstrakInstitutional repository memberikan peluang bagi pemustaka untuk dapat mengakses koleksi atau informasi yang dimiliki perpustakaan tanpa harus datang ke perpustakaan. Melalui institutional repository perpustakaan membantu mempromosikan publikasi ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh sivitas akademika dan usaha ini akan mampu meningkatkan jumlah sitiran dari publikasi. Pengelolaan publikasi ilmiah dengan menggunakan institutional repository sudah termuat pada Surat Edaran Dirjen Dikti No. 152/E/T/2012 tanggal 27 Januari 2012 tentang Publikasi Karya Ilmiah (S1, S2, dan S3) dan Surat Edaran Dikti No 1864/E4/2015 tanggal 15 Oktober 2015 perihal Penilaian Angka Kredit (PAK) Dosen (harus dapat ditelusur secara online). Namun melihat urgensinya penerapan atau penggunaan institutional repository tersebut belum semuanya lembaga perguruan tinggi menerapkannya. Salah satunya sekolah tinggi swasta di Yogyakarta. Menariknya lembaga tersebut belum menerapakan institutional repository. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian studi kasus dengan metodologi kualitatif. Pendekatan tunggal terpancang (embedded research), sebagai pedoman untuk melakukan dan menentukan alur penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara wawancara langsung, sumber data utama dalam penelitian kualitatif ialah kata-kata dan tindakan dari informan yakni pustakawan. Namun untuk menjaga privasi dan nama baik institusinya, informan tidak berkenan untuk menyantumkan/menyebutkan nama perguruan tinggi/ institusinya dalam penelitan. Hasil dan pembahasan : 1) Banyak Hal Yang Harus Disiapkan; 2) Tuntutan Terhadap Penerapan Institutional Repository; 3) Terbatasnya Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Implementasi. Simpulan: Perlu adanya kemampuan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya teknologi dan informasi serta komitmen institusi terhadap penyelenggaraan dengan dukungan seluruh komponen sivitas akademik dalam mengisi konten institutional repository. Serta keterlibatannya peran pustakawan sebagai profesi yang membidangi akan hal dokumentasi.Kata kunci: Institutional Repository, Kebijakan, Perpustakaan, Perguruan Tinggi, Pustakawan.

Pengaruh Daya Tarik Webtoon “The Secret of Angel” Terhadap Minat Baca Di Komunitas Penggemar Webtoon Uswatun Khasanah; Labibah Labibah

Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the perception of the webtoon fans community on the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon; (2) describe reading interest in the webtoon fans community; (3) describe the effect of the secret of angel's webtoon attractiveness on reading interest in the webtoon fans community. This research includes quantitative research with descriptive research methods. The research subject is the webtoon fans community and the object is the attraction of the secret of angel webtoon. The variables in the study were the variable webtoon attractiveness and reading interest. The population in this study is the webtoon fan community on Telegram called Fans Webtoon Indonesia. The results stated that the perception of the webtoon fan community towards the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon is in the very good category and the reading interest of webtoon fans community is in the good category. For the results of the simple linear regression test, it can be seen that the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon affects the reading interest of the webtoon fan community by 38,2%.

Perpustakaan berkewajiban menyediakan akses ke sumber informasi yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan lewat sarana temu kembali informasi menjadisalah satu tugas penting perpustakaan.OPAC adalah salah satu sarana temu kembali informasi yangberfungsi memberitahu kepada pengguna apa yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan, apalagi saat ini katalog dikembangkan dalam bentuk online yaitu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelengkapan fasilitas dan kapabilitas searching dan browsing pada OPAC perpustakaan UIN. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi precision (ketepatan) OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi dan mengujinapakah fasilitas searching berpengaruh terhadap tingkat precision.Dengan menggunakan data kualitatis yaitu yang berkaitan dengan kelengkapan fasilitas searching dan browsing, maka peneliti mencoba untuk melihat efektivitas OPAC Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) sebagai system temu kembali dengan mengambil lima OPAC UIN sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa fasilitas searching dan browsing yang tidak dimilikioleh OPAC UIN seperti menu bantuan penelusuran,keterbtasan deskripsi bibliografi. Dan OPAC yang memiliki fasilitas yang paling lengkap memiliki ketepatan yang tinggi sedangkan yang memiliki fasilitas paling minim memiliki nilai ketepatan yang rendah.

User education activities in college libraries are activities provide information on utilizing library services properly and correctly. UMBY Library organizes this activity for new and old students who have not participated and makes this activity routine agenda is carried out at the beginning of each new school year. This study aims to determine the implementation and role of user education in the utilization of services the UMBY library. The research method used is qualitative research by taking 11 respondents consisting of one Head of Library and three Librarians in the technical implementation section as well as three students of class 2021 and four students of class 2022. The data collection methods used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of user education in the UMBY library in the 2022/2023 academic year was carried out with adjustments to the covid-19 health protocol because it was carried out during a pandemic, then the implementation of user education was only carried out with two models, namely library orientation and library teaching using the lecture method. The role of user education seen from the utilization of available services, searching for information, and the ability to use services.

This study discusses the method of acquiring library materials at the Al-Ghazali Library, Nahdlatul Ulama Imam Al-Ghazali University Cilacap, the aim is to see the process of acquiring the library materials. This research method uses qualitative methods, with a case study at the Al-Ghazali Unugha Cilacap library. Data collection techniques through interviews and literature study. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the Al-Ghazali Unugha Cilacap library carries out the process of developing a collection of library materials through three stages, starting with the purchasing process, in this process the purchase is not determined by the time, unless the librarian makes an Annual Work Plan and Budget (RAT) first. The second stage is receiving grants or gifts from other institutions, this stage the Unugha library receives grants from the Asia Foundation, and the third is the exchange of resources, this stage the Unugha library collaborates with several surrounding universities such as UIN Saizu Purwokerto, Cilacap State Polytechnic and Cilacap Regional Library. The obstacles experienced by the Al-Ghazali Unugha Cilacap library, such as the uncertainty of purchasing books in large quantities or in large quantities due to limited budget funds

Introduction. Community engagement is one of the ways to connect between academic environment and community. This research aims to explore community engagement as part of the course in the Library Science Study Program to match with the seven main principles of community engagement. Research Method. This is qualitative research with a case study approach on how community engagement concept is implemented in the learning and teaching activities at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data analysis. The data was analyzed by using cross-case data analysis. Results and Discussion. The results show that the two LIS Programs have conducted community engagement effectively in their learning and teaching by referring to the main seven principles of community engagement. Conclusion. In terms of the community engagement, UIN Malang has more intensive relationships with the community because their activities involve wider community around the area. While in terms of the sustainability, UIN Yogyakarta shows a better-organized program as they assign the students to create strategic plans and SOPs by encouraging the community library organizers to continue what has been conducted by the students during the program. This community engagement program also in line with community service missions of the university.

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh variabel dari Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) terhadap penerimaan layanan unggah mandiri di UPT Perpustakaan ISI Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan teknik analisis datanya dengan menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika intervensi yaitu dengan analisis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah alumni ISI yang telah mengikuti wisuda pada periode September 2022, jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 534 orang, adapun peneliti mengambil sampel 10% dari total populasi yaitu 53 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerimaan teknologi terhadap penggunaan layanan unggah mandiri cukup baik, faktor penerimaan ini ada karena layanan unggah mandiri di UPT Perpustakaan ISI Yogyakarta dinilai mudah dipahami mulai dari fitur dan fasilitasnya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai 84,2% yang didapatkan untuk variabel kemudahan layanan unggah mandiri.
