Abstract

Masalah kesehatan yang ada pada masyarakat terutama pada anak-anak saat ini tidak hanya berfokus pada masalah kekurangan gizi, namun kini telah timbul masalah kesehatan akibat kelebihan gizi. Salah satu masalah kelebihan gizi pada anak yaitu obesitas. Berdasarkan data SSGI 2022, Obesitas (kegemukan) pada anak usia 5-12 yaitu 10,8% gemuk dan 9,2% obesitas, artinya 1 dari 5 anak usia 5-12 tahun gemuk atau obesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan gizi, aktivitas fisik dan pola makan dengan kejadian obesitas di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Huda Kota Kupang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan survey analitik dengan desain case control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Huda Kota Kupang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan besar sampel 60 orang. Masing-masing variabel yang diuji menggunakan uji chi-square. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji chi-square menunjukan (p=0,324>0,05) yang berarti tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan Ibu dengan kejadian obesitas, (p=0,000<0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian obesitas, (p=0,001<0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan antara pola makan dengan kejadian obesitas.

Abstract

The process of standardized nutrition care is an activity carried out on patients who are at risk of malnutrition, already experiencing malnutrition and special conditions with certain diseases. As for the steps of nutrition care process is namely nutrition assessment, diagnosis and intervention. Based on medical records at Ende Regional Hospital the number of inpatient hypertension patients was 442 in 2018. Nutrition services especially nutrition care process in hospital have been done well, but the implementation is still not optimal due to luck of nutritionists. This research was conducted to determine the process of standardized nutrition care in hypertensive patients in RSUD Ende. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Informants key in this study are nutritionist and supporting informants is nutrition workers and hypertensive patients. The results of the study had been carried out well in Ende Regional Hospital,but the implementation was not optimal due to lack of nutritionists and nurses’ knowledge about nutrition. Standarduzed nutrition care can provide a good change for hypertensive patients, giving the right diet can reduce the hypertensive patient’s blood pressure. The results of this study are expected to further improve well-standarduzed nutrition care services to patients in accordance with the steps of nutrition care process so that it can help the healing process of disease.

Abstract

Transportation is a very important part of human life. In fact, the existence of a vehicle can improve all human activities in carrying out the occupied routine, but problems arise such as traffic jams and increased traffic accidents. The Minister of Transportation stated that 4 (four) people died every day due to traffic accidents, 72% occurred in Indonesia and 73.9% involved motorbikes. The incident was an indication that motorbikes were the main cause of traffic accidents and contributed the most victims. The traffic accident data of the East Nusa Tenggara POLDA in 2018 showed a trend of increasing traffic accidents in 2018. The level of population mobilization in the legal territory of the West Sumba POLRES is relatively high. Based on the annual report book of West Sumba POLRES in 2018 there have been traffic accidents with 126 cases. The study aims to determine the factors associated with motorcycle driver traffic accidents in the area of West Sumba POLRES in 2019. This type of research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted at the West Sumba Police Resort with a sample of 53 people. Analysis of the data used the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study indicate that the factors associated with traffic accidents are age (p = 0.004), behavior (p = 0.008), and lamp conditions (p = 0.005).

Abstract

Diarrhea is a common disease in Indonesia, as a probable sickness of incident which is frequently outbreak by death. In the Southwest Sumba Regency in 2019, there were 9.271 instances of diarrhea spread over twelve Puskesmas operating districts. One of the Puskesmas is Rada Mata Health Center, which has 324 cases dispersed over many communities. Totok Village is one of the areas affected by the diarrhea outbreak, with 64 cases reported. This study aims to examine the factors that contribute to the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Totok Village, Loura District, Southwest Sumba Regency. The type of research used is analytic observational with a cross sectional research design. The study was conducted in Totok Village, Loura District, Southwest Sumba Regency, in July 2021. The population in this study were all mothers of children under five, who were still active to weigh to the posyandu which were taken at simple random in Totok Village. 2021. The sample in this study was 70 mothers of children under five. The sampling technique was done randomly. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. All variables included mother's level of knowledge (p-value = 0.022), mother's attitude (p-value = 0.017), mother's behavior (p-value = 0.007), history of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.017), immunization status (p-value = 0.017), value = 0.014), and the availability of latrines (p-value = 0.027), were found to be associated with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five years of age. Therefore, the community, especially mothers of toddlers, should increase their knowledge about preventing diarrhea in children, one of which is providing exclusive breastfeeding to children to increase their immune system.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a state of severe lack of energy and protein due to insufficient consumption of nutritious food and or poor parenting that affects the nutritional status of childrenn under five. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between socio-economic variables and parenting patterns with the incidence of malnutrition in children under five in the operational area of the Kori Health Center, Southwest Sumba Regency. The research method uses an analytical survey usinga cross-sectional approach and is an analytical survey study. Total sampling was employed to establish the sample size for this study, which had an 82-person population and sample size. Observation and interviews were used to collect information. Data was analyzed using the chi-square test. The variables of mother's knowledge (0.003), mother's education (0.037), mother's occupation (0.039), eating parenting (0.012), health parenting (0.028), and hygiene parenting (0.010) had a significant relationship with the incidence of malnutrition in children under five in the Kori Health Center Work Area, Southwest Sumba Regency. Associated agencies, such as the health office and public health center officers, are expected to continue to encourage community health promotion, particularly for individuals living in remote areas with limited access

Abstract

One of the factors that play an important role in the nutritional status of children under five is parenting. Parenting is an interaction between children and parents during parenting activities. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal parenting and the nutritional status of children under five in the work area of ​​the Palla Health Center, Southwest Sumba Regency. This type of research is analytic observation with a cross-sectional design. The research population is all mothers who have children under five in the work area of ​​the Palla Health Center. The sample size is 88 respondents. Data was collected by using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between maternal characteristics (knowledge of maternal nutrition, education, occupation, income), eating patterns, hygiene parenting, and health care patterns with the nutritional status of children under five using the chi-square test where p-value = (0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between the relationship between maternal parenting and the nutritional status of children under five in the work area of ​​the Palla Public Health Center, Southwest Sumba Regency

Abstract

Malnutrition is a lack of nutrients which include protein, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins that the body needs. Southwest Sumba Regency in 2018 there were cases of malnutrition in 13 sub-districts of the Puskesmas working area. Wee Kombaka Public Health Center is one of the health centers with 45 cases of malnutrition. Wee Kombaka Village is the working area of ​​Wee Kombaka Health Center with 45 cases of malnutrition. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors related to the incidence of malnutrition in children under five in Wee Kombaka Village, Southwest Sumba Regency 2021. The type of research used is analytical research with a cross sectional study method. The sample used in this research is 53 people. The data analyzed using Chi-square with a significance level of = 0.05. Research shows all variables related to the incidence of malnutrition in children under five, namely the mother's level of knowledge (p-value = 0.006), attitude (p-value = 0.004), action (p-value = 0.004) and history of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.002). The conclusion in this research is that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, actions and history of exclusive breastfeeding on undernourished children under five, therefore the community, especially mothers of toddlers, are expected to pay more attention to the sources and types of food for toddlers as well as the processing process to serving food to children
