Abstract

This study aims to describe the inculcation of the character of discipline through dol music extracurriculars and governance management at SDN 36 Bengkulu City. Using a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were school principals, administration staff, extracurricular trainers, students, and dol music experts. Observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using technique and source triangulation. The results of the study show that in the implementation of the cultivation of disciplinary character through extracurricular music dol is carried out using teaching methods, exemplary and gradual habituation through the process of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action, in participating in extracurricular activities students have discipline which includes being on time, being able to estimate time to complete something, use objects according to their function, comply with agreed rules, orderly in waiting their turn, and have a record of attendance, but there are still students who are less disciplined in taking and returning objects to their place. With a governance management system that is already running in accordance with the rules starting from planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. However, in the planning stage, operational standards have not been prepared, clear organizational structure for activities has not been prepared, in the organizing stage, there has been no separate honorarium for extracurricular trainers, and letters for coordination meetings are no longer used.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving berbasis media multiply cards terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas II SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen true-experimental, menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas II SD Negeri 99 Palembang, dengan sampel yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas II.A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas II.B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test untuk membandingkan perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, yang mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving berbasis media multiply cards berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Matematika. Temuan ini memberikan bukti bahwa model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan prestasi akademik siswa, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran Matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate fifth-grade students’ logical thinking in mathematics. Their logical thinking skills were categorized based on five levels, namely very low, low, medium, high and very high. This study used descriptive quantitative method, and it was conducted with 123 fifth-grade students from a public elementary school in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. The instruments used to collect data were logical thinking ability tests consisting of short answer tasks and mathematical reasoning for the given answers. The results of this study indicated that students have very low logical thinking within the average score of 22.76%. More than half of students could not give correct answers to the given tasks and also could not provide reasoning to their answers. The implication of this study is that teachers, teacher educators, curriculum developers, and government need to develop learning instruction that support students’ logical thinking in facing challenges in 21st century life.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) Nasi Liwet di Desa Duwet, Baki, Sukoharjo, mengenai digitalisasi, khususnya penggunaan pembayaran QRIS dan pendaftaran di Google Maps. Melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, tim melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan serta potensi pelaku UMKM yang masih minim dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada 30 Agustus 2024 ini melibatkan 15 peserta, yang mendapatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya digitalisasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan visibilitas usaha. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 40% peserta belum menggunakan QRIS dan Google Maps, sedangkan 15% telah mengadopsi digitalisasi. Respon peserta terhadap pelatihan sangat positif, dengan tingkat antusiasme yang tinggi terlihat selama sesi. Diharapkan, melalui program ini, UMKM dapat lebih kompetitif di pasar digital dan memperluas jangkauan pemasaran mereka
