Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to improve the learning process of poetry learning through outdoor learners in bachelor students (S2) at elementary education (Pendas) and (2) to Improve learning outcomes by increasing literacy in poetry learning through outdoor learning in S-2 Pendas students . This research is a class action research, with 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were the students at A class and B class in the first semester in the Indonesian Language Elementary Education course. The research instrument was an observation sheet and test results. Research data in the form of test data and observation data. Data analysis techniques used the average value. The results showed that outdoor learning can improve student learning processes and outcomes. Improved learning process is characterized by the involvement of teaching participants more active and enthusiastic during learning. The improvement of learning outcomes is characterized by an increase in the average value of 59,7 in the first cycle to an average value of 74.43 in cycle 2

Abstract

The use of text with character content  in learning is one of the efforts to strengthen children's moral kognition which is one of the keys to ordering characters. This study aimed to analyze the character values contained in the story of Rasulullah and test the readability of the story. The results of the value analysis by were validated by value education experts, language education experts in elementary schools and hadis experts. Researchers conducted a readability test using Raygor and fry graph. The results show that there are five stories that contained the main values of social care and the accompaniment values of patience, empathy and generosity. The readability test results show that the five stories are suitable for reading by children aged 1o to 12 years. From these results, the story of the Prophet is right for use in literary learning with the aim of instilling character.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of flipbook media on the procedural text writing skill of fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City. This research was quantitative research with quasi-experimental research methods and the type of design The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study was fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City. The sample was a student of SDN V grade 34 Kota Bengkulu as an experimental class and students of VB SDN 36 Kota Bengkulu as a control class obtained through a cluster random sampling. The data collection technique were pre-test and post-test which were designed in the form of essay question with indicators of suitability of content, structure, writing rules and linguistic characteristic. The results showed that thitung > ttable (3,243 > 2,015) and Sig.(2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05. This data suggests that there are significant differences in the procedural text writing skill in the experimental group and the control group due to the different treatment of the two classes, by using the flipbook media on experimental groups and not using flipbook media on control groups. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted, which means there was an influence of flipbook media on the procedural text writing skill of fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the inculcation of the character of discipline through dol music extracurriculars and governance management at SDN 36 Bengkulu City. Using a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were school principals, administration staff, extracurricular trainers, students, and dol music experts. Observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using technique and source triangulation. The results of the study show that in the implementation of the cultivation of disciplinary character through extracurricular music dol is carried out using teaching methods, exemplary and gradual habituation through the process of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action, in participating in extracurricular activities students have discipline which includes being on time, being able to estimate time to complete something, use objects according to their function, comply with agreed rules, orderly in waiting their turn, and have a record of attendance, but there are still students who are less disciplined in taking and returning objects to their place. With a governance management system that is already running in accordance with the rules starting from planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. However, in the planning stage, operational standards have not been prepared, clear organizational structure for activities has not been prepared, in the organizing stage, there has been no separate honorarium for extracurricular trainers, and letters for coordination meetings are no longer used.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher strategies in overcoming reading difficulties not fourth grade students of SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City. This study uses a descriptive methodology and is qualitative in nature. Teachers and students were the study's subjects, namely fourth grade teachers and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity used triangulation techniques and extended observation. The results showed that the teacher's strategies to overcome reading difficulties in students of SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City, are (1) identifying by providing reading (2) Individual approach by providing motivation and individual approach (3) Providing individual guidance by means of the alphabet method and additional hours (4) Cooperating with parents by calling students' parents to help solve problems (5) reading activity before and after learning. (6) Implementing cooperative strategies by reading with teachers and students (7) Utilizing the reading corner. Teacher has not used learning media in overcoming students' reading difficulties. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that teachers have guided students who have difficulty reading by carrying out seven activities except utilizing learning media.

Abstract

Potensi Indonesia yang besar terhadap energi surya akan sangat efektif untuk dikenalkan sejak dini dalam menumbuhkan minat terhadap energi terbarukan di masa depan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk menciptakan suasana belajar sambil bermain (Game Based Learning) pada materi energi terbarukan yang interaktif dengan menggunakan solar toys. Permasalahan di sekolah yang belum tersedia media/ prototype energi terbarukan, maka kegiatan ini menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan dari kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan dengan metode ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Tim pengabdi mengenalterapkan media belajar sambil bermain (game based learning) dalam perakitan mobil mainan berenergi surya yang dapat diaplikasi secara lansung di bawah cahaya matahari. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, terlihat siswa sangat antusias dan memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk merakit mainan berenergi surya. Keberhasilan merakit mainan dan dapat berjalan di bawah cahaya matahari menimbulkan semangat belajar yang tinggi tentang energi terbarukan. Terbukti saat evaluasi terhadap siswa di akhir kegiatan, siswa mampu menjawab pertanyaan seputar materi dan kebermanfaatan energi terbarukan dengan baik. Harapannya, setelah kegiatan PPM ini dilaksanakan dapat menumbuhkan minat sejak dini siswa terhadap energi terbarukan dan akan dimanfaatkan di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui Desain Pembelajaran Mobile Collaborative Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kerjasama Dan Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Pada Mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Bengkulu; dan (2) mengetahui kemampuan Kerjasama dan kemampuan berpikir Tingkat tinggi mahasiswa PGSD setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan Mobile Collaborative Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE atau Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Analisis data kualitatif dan Analisis kuantitatif. Proses validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli menunjukkan bahwa desain ini memenuhi kriteria relevansi, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas, dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,6 dalam kategori "sangat baik." Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama mahasiswa. Rata-rata skor kerjasama meningkat dari 3,2 sebelum implementasi menjadi 4,4 setelah implementasi, dengan indikator komunikasi, koordinasi, dan pembagian tugas menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Desain pembelajaran Mobile Collaborative Learning berbasis PBL ini terbukti valid dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama serta kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa PGSD di Universitas Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application as well as the understanding of the obligatory national anthem in the fourth grade at SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subject of this research is the teacher the fourth grade homeroom teacher and the fourth grade student. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself, using observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data validity technique is through technical triangulation and membercheck. The results showed that teachers did not always explain importance of singing the national compulsory anthem at the opening lesson. The national anthem that are often sung are the anthems Indonesia Raya, Garuda Pancasila, and Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. For the overall understanding part, students' understanding of the seven national compulsory songs, consisting of five aspects studied, is not good enough. Students are able to mention the title, the name of the songwriter, and connect the lyrics of the song. Students have not been able to explain the meaning and the implementation of songs in daily life. So It can be concluded learning is not in accordance with the rules and students do not understand the content of song.
