This type of research was quantitative analytic using a cross sectional design. The population is all pre-elderly and elderly people in Tapung II Village, Kampar Regency, amounting to 817 people while the research sample is 86 people. Sampling was done by simple random sampling using a questionnaire as a data collector for the variables Knowledge, Attitude, Access to the Posyandu lansia, Family Support, Role of Cadre. Data analysis with chi square and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that the utilization of the Posyandu lansia in Tapung II Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency was 86%. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the variables that influenced the use of posyandu lansia were knowledge (p=0.006) Attitude (p=0.007), family support (p=0.003), and the role of cadres (p=0.014). The most dominant variable influencing is family support (POR 36,744). DM is caused by lifestyle changes and lack of awareness to detect DM early, lack of physical activity, and poor diet. The dominant lifestyle that triggers DM is diet and physical activity. Changes in lifestyle such as unhealthy food habits and lack of physical activity have a high risk of developing diabetes. Implementation of community service activities through counseling using leaflets and posters. The next activity is to provide taro tubers to sufferers with the aim of controlling blood glucose levels. The outputs used in this community service activity include publications and videos of activities conveying the benefits of taro tubers to control blood glucose levels.

Involving informants with relevant competencies, including the Head of the Community Health Center, the Mental Health Program Manager, mental health cadres, and patient families, data were collected through interviews. The research was conducted in November and December 2023 at Payung Sekaki Community Health Center. Qualitative data analysis utilized triangulation methods, involving source, method, and data triangulation to ensure the validity of the results. The evaluation revealed that the performance achievements were below the target, with main obstacles related to resource aspects, team coordination, and community awareness. These findings emphasize the need for in-depth evaluation, coordination improvement, enhanced training, and a comprehensive approach to raise community awareness regarding mental health at Payung Sekaki Community Health Center.

Abstract

There are only a few studies conducted on the use of co-culture of white-rot fungi for pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass. The aim of this research is to study the effects of biological pretreatment of oil palm empty fruit bunch (OPEFB) and oil palm frond (OPF) fiber using co-culture of two white-rot fungi, namely Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Trametes versicolor, on the results of the enzymatic saccharification of such biomass. The representative samples of OPEFB and OPF fibers (40-60 mesh in sizes) after being sterilized, each as much as 5% (w/v), were inoculated with the co-cultures of the two fungi and incubated at ±27°C for 4 weeks. The samples were taken partially and then examined after 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks of incubation. Saccharification process using cellulase and β-glucosidase was performed in a water bath shaker at 50°C for 48 hours. Reducing sugar, glucose and xylose content were analyzed. The highest reducing sugar yield, glucose and xylose concentrations from the saccharification on OPEFB, as much as consecutively 13.08%, 0.86 mg/g and 0.13 mg/g, were obtained after pretreatment for 4 weeks; while likewise those for OPF corresponding to 8.98%, 0.92 mg/g and 0.23 mg/g, respectively, were obtained after 2-week pretreatment.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the central issue of all elections is the management of election money. This issue creates various consequences for election administrators, voters, and voters, so increasing monetary policy practices also becomes a major issue in every election administration. The amount of money circulating in the 2024 election will likely increase from the 2019 legislative election. This is based on several factors. First, the electoral system and mechanism have not changed since 2019. This means that the personal side of elections, or the orientation of competition, still relies on candidates, not political parties. Second, the direction of the 2024 Pileg contestation is still based on the popularity and personality of the candidates. Third, to be elected, each candidate continues to try to increase his popularity, increase campaign activities, and finance himself.
