Abstract

Changes in land use in an area will cause new attractions and trip generation which usually will potentially cause problems in the surrounding traffic. The construction of Ruko 88 Berlian Commercial Estate in Tangerang City is also a change in land use from vacant land to a center of activity in the form of shop houses. Thus, a traffic impact analysis is needed to find out the potential impacts that affect the road network system around the construction site. The study conducted several traffic surveys such as surveys of road and intersection inventory, enumeration of traffic on roads and intersections, calculation of trip generation and travel attraction, parking etc. All surveys were conducted to measure the performance of the road network at the study site. The method used at the time of the analysis refers to the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual, the Four Step Model Method, and some guidelines related to parking. After analyzing it in various stages, it was concluded that Ruko 88 Berlian Commercial Estate provides a traffic impact during the construction and operational processes by generating new trip generation of 44 pcu / hour and new travel attractions of 45 pcu / hour. From this, the performance of the road network around the location has decreased, marked by an increase in V / C ratio and traffic density and a decrease in speed. To overcome the impact of the traffic the recommended mitigations include making entry and exit access designs, structuring parking, installing road equipment facilities etc. From the results of the analysis, mitigation is quite able to reduce the impact of traffic caused by Ruko 88 Berlian Commercial Estate

Abstract

Based on my survey in February 2018 at the three SMA Negeri Cimahi, 956 adolescent girls (67.2%) from 1.422 of female students had experienced dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is disturbed young women’s study activities at school. The preliminary study found that 10 teenagers had dysmenorrhea, 4 of them said they could not follow the sporting activities. This research aimed to determine the effect of abdominal stretching exercise in reducing the pain due to dysmenorrhea in the adolescent girls. The method used a quasi-experiment design with one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study was 174 peoples and obtained 19 samples with random sampling technique. Pain score measured by the Verbal Descriptor Scale before and after given the abdominal stretching exercises for 15 minutes, 3 times during 7 days with an interval of one day. Data analysis used univariate test and t-dependent test. The results of the study obtained the pain score before the abdominal stretching exercises were 6.16 scale (moderate pain) and after abdominal stretching exercises was 2.37 scale (mild pain) with pain scale difference 3.79. T-dependent statistical test obtained that p-value < 0,001, it refers to abdominal stretching exercises affects in decreasing pain scale of dysmenorrhea. Abdominal stretching exercises are recommended as an influential intervention of dysmenorrhea for adolescent girls. This exercises can be a new routine activity for adolescent girls since it is very beneficial for them.Keywords: Abdominal stretching, adolescent girls, dysmenorrhea, exercises.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer is a gynecologic disease with high malignancy rate and becomes the second leading cause of death among women worldwide after breast cancer. In the Ligar Medika Clinic, from 129 cases have been identified, 8 patients died. High mortality rate in patients with cervical cancer wascaused more by the delay in treatment due to lack of knowledge and physical side effects of treatment of patients and psychological disorders such as their rejection reactions. Aims: The purpose of this paper is to know the relationship of family support to the motivation or intention for medical treatment in patients with cervical cancer Methods: The research method used was an analytic study with cross-sectional design. There were 30 patients with cervical disease invited to fill the questionnaire. Data wasobtained directly using a Likert scale questionnaire further run in univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square. Results: The result indicates most of the respondents were lack of family support. This present study found a significant correlation between family's supports to the motivation (intention) medical treatment of cervical cancer patients (p value < 0.001) Conclusion: The findings alarm a need to encourage family of patients to provide support to them during medication. It is to provide complete information about cervical cancer that can induce the family’s attention in ongoing treatment in patients and provide the patients the motivation.

Abstract

This research is intended to study the characteristics of a mixture of AC-BC using plastic bag waste as added material. Mixing is done by adding pieces of plastic to the asphalt mixture using a dry method. The method in this research is to conduct a series of testing the characteristics of coarse, fine, and filler aggregates then design the AC-BC mixture composition and Marshall testing to obtain mixture characteristics and Marshall Immersion testing to obtain the residual strength index (IKS). Through the Marshall test, the level of plastic bag waste used is 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%. The results of research conducted at the Road and Asphalt Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Indonesian Christian University, Paulus Makassar, showed that the use of additives in intermediate asphalt concrete mixtures can increase stability values. The stability value due to the addition of plastic to the asphalt mixture increases compared to asphalt mixture without plastic. The level of good addition of plastic to asphalt mix is 2% because in addition to the high stability value, Marshall parameters such as VIM, Flow, VMA, and VFB have also fulfilled the 2018 Directorate General of Highways Specifications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk studi karakteristik campuran AC-BC berdasarkan limbah kantong plastik sebagai bahan tambah. Pencampuran dilakukan dengan menambahkan potongan plastik pada campuran aspal berdasarkan cara kering. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan serangkaian pengujian karakteristik agregat kasar, halus, dan filler kemudian merancang komposisi campuran AC-BC serta pengujian Marshall untuk mendapatkan karakteristik campuran dan pengujian Marshall Immersion untuk memperoleh indeks kekuatan sisa (IKS). Melalui uji Marshall, kadar limbah kantong plastik yang digunakan yaitu 0%, 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, dan 2%. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di laboratorium Jalan dan Aspal Fakultas Teknik Jurusan Sipil Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus Makassar, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan tambah (Additive) pada campuran aspal beton lapis antara dapat meningkatkan nilai stabilitas. Nilai stabilitas akibat penambahan plastik pada campuran aspal meningkat dibandingkan campuran aspal tanpa plastik. Kadar penambahan plastik yang baik untuk campuran aspal yaitu 2% karena selain nilai stabilitasnya tinggi, parameter Marshall seperti VIM, Flow, VMA, dan VFB juga telah memenuhi syarat Spesifikasi Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga 2018.
