Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase interest and science learning outcomes in fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Tompi Bugis, Kulawi Selatan District through the application of guided discovery learning models. The method used is a classroom action research method with two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The results showed that in the first cycle of the first meeting, the observation of student activity obtained a value of 68%, was in the sufficient category, the value of students 'classical absorption was 74%, the students' classical learning completeness was 50% and the student's interest in learning 60% was in the sufficient category. In the first cycle of the second meeting, the observation of student activity obtained a value of 79%, in the good category, the value of students' classical absorption of 80%, 75% of students' classical learning completeness, and 74% of students' interest in learning were in a good category. The research was continued in cycle II with the results showing that the second cycle of the first meeting, the observation of student activity obtained a value of 80%, was in a good category, the value of students 'classical absorption was 84%, the students' classical learning completeness was 90% and the student's learning interest 80% were in the well. In the second cycle of the second meeting, the observation of student activity obtained a value of 90%, was in the very good category, the value of students 'classical absorption was 89%, the students' classical learning completeness was 100% and the student's interest in learning 90% was in the very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the guided discovery learning model can increase the interest and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Tompi Bugis, Kulawi Selatan District.

Abstract

This study reveals the main issues relating to employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and the implementation of learning organization on employee performance at the Housing and Settlement Office of the City of Palopo. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling where sampling is carried out with anyone who meets the researcher by chance and can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person met by chance is suitable as a data source. So the sample in this study were 21 employees. The type of research conducted is qualitiative and quantitative. The type of data used comes from primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis methods used are the criptive analysis, validity test, reliability, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that there was a significant influence between job satisfaction and the application of Palopo city, where the significance value was 0,001 0,05. Job satisfaction and the application of learning organization have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of Palopo City.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengungkapkan pokok permasalahan yang berkenaan dengan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan penerapan learning organization terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Palopo. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling / sampling insidental dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan siapa saja yang secara kebetulan bertemu dengan peneliti dapat digunakan sebagai sampel, bila dipandang yang kebetulan ditemui itu cocok sebagai sumber data. Jadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 pegawai. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, serta kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan penerapan learning organization terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Palopo, dimana nilai signifikansi 0,001 0,05. Kepuasan kerja dan penerapan learning organization berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Palopo.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to assess the government's performance in delivering primary services in Gattareng Village, Pujananting District, Barru Regency, focusing on the performance of employees in service delivery. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The researcher utilizes data analysis techniques involving data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validation through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that the performance of employees in providing primary services in the village is considered satisfactory; however, there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of punctuality and attendance issues. The government is advised to pay more attention to the tasks of employees and the needs of the community as a whole.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi dengan observasi yang menunjukkan kurangnya minat belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran berlangsung, ada beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi minat belajar peserta didik menurun di antaranya kurangnya perhatian yang diberikan pendidik saat proses belajar mengajar, kemudian model atau metode pembelajaran yang kurang efektif. Padahal pada dasarnya proses belajar mengajar sepatutnya mengakibatkan adanya komunikasi dua arah atau dengan kata lain siswa seharusnya aktif dalam pembelajaran agar proses belajar mengajar berjalan dengan efektif. Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini di antaranya; (1) Menambah pemahaman serta mampu melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar guna menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Balangnipa, (2) Siswa diharapkan terampil aktif dalam diskusi kelompok maupun diskusi mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode service learning dengan tiga tahapan yaitu; tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap refleksi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan yang dilakukan mulai dari awal hingga akhir siswa mulai tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran, siswa menunjukkan sikap percaya diri, semangat dan termotivasi untuk belajar.
