Abstract

Abstract

is a form of community participation in the early detection, monitoring and early follow-up of PTM risk factors independently and continuously. One of the factors influencing the low level of Posbindu PTM visits is the community's knowledge about the use of Posbindu PTM. If the public's knowledge is less about Posbindu PTM, it will result in an increase in mortality due to PTM. To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the compliance of the productive age community in the use of Posbindu PTM. This study used a descriptive correlational method with a cross sectional approach conducted on 93 samples using a sampling technique that is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Results: Most of the productive age community in Busung Yeh Kauh had less knowledge level with less compliance level, as many as 50 people (53.8%). The Spearman Rank statistical test results obtained p = 0,000 (<0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.855 which means that there is a very strong relationship between the level of knowledge with the compliance of the productive age community in the use of Posbindu PTM. Public knowledge about Posbindu PTM influences compliance with the use of Posbindu PTM. Efforts should be made to increase public education about the importance of utilizing Posbindu non-communicable diseases to reduce mortality due to non-communicable diseases.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is still a major health problem in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the relationship between husbands' level of knowledge and support and wives' behavior in early detection of cervical cancer in Br Kutuh Kelod, Ubud, which was conducted in October-December 2023. Analytical survey research with a cross-sectional approach. using purposive sampling technique totaling 86 people. Data collection used questionnaires and data analysis using the Chi Square test with the results obtained that 39(45.3%) of respondents had a good level of knowledge and the majority of respondents had good support from their husbands to carry out early detection examinations for cervical cancer, namely 49(57%). %) respondents. Most of the respondents had been screened for cervical cancer, namely 57 (66.3%) respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis of the level of knowledge obtained a P-value = 0.001 (<0.05) while for husband's support the value was P-value = 0.000 (<0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and husband's support for behavior. wife in early detection of cervical cancer. For health workers, expand the target of health promotion to husbands or fathers so that later they can also support their married wives or daughters to undergo early detection examinations for cervical cancer.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which increases every year, with the increasing incidence of Hypertension will have an impact on society, namely a decrease in health status which results in a decrease in the quality of life. Management of hypertension can be done with non-pharmacological therapy, one of the non-pharmacological therapies chosen by the community, namely complementary therapy, neck massage therapy using VCO and cupping is a complementary therapy that aims to reduce hypertension. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study 16 respondents were given neck massage therapy with VCO and 16 respondents were given dry cupping therapy. The data analysis used was the Spearman rank because the data were not normally distributed. Before being given neck massage therapy with a mean VCO, systolic blood pressure was 156.25, diastolic blood pressure was 87.50 after being given a mean value of 124.38 and diastolic 81.25 with a systolic p value of 0.000 while for diastolic blood pressure of 0.008. Whereas in the group given dry cupping therapy systolic blood pressure with a mean of 158.82 and diastole a mean of 90.59, after being given dry cupping therapy, systolic blood pressure was 124.71 while diastole was 78.82 with a systolic p value of 0.000 and diastole of 0.009. The difference in blood pressure in the two interventions for the system p value was 0.968 while for diastole the p value was 0.625, which means there was no difference between the two interventions. So it can be concluded that both neck massage therapy with VCO and dry cupping therapy can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Background: Heart failure is a complex clinical condition associated with a high risk of rehospitalization and increased mortality. Rehospitalization is often influenced by patients' adherence to dietary recommendations and medication regimens. Objective: This study aimed to identify the levels of dietary and medication adherence among heart failure patients who experienced rehospitalization. Method: A quantitative descriptive study with a retrospective approach was conducted at the Integrated Cardiac Care Unit of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital in Denpasar, Bali. Data were collected using the DSR-SCB Scale and the MARS-10 questionnaire. A total of 86 participants were selected using purposive sampling. Result: The result revealed that 64 patients (74.4%) demonstrated non-adherence to dietary recommendations, while only 22 patients (25.6%) were adherent. Regarding medication adherence, 50 patients (58.1%) were categorized as non-adherent, and 36 patients (41.9%) as adherent. Conclusion: Most patients who experience rehospitalization demonstrate non-adherence to both dietary recommendations and prescribed medications. Patient non-adherence may be associated with sociodemographic factors such as age, gender, and educational level, in addition to limited health literacy and inadequate family support. Reducing the risk of rehospitalization requires the implementation of structured discharge planning and the provision of comprehensive education for both patients and caregivers
