Abstract

So far, the learning process tends to be conventional, teachers use the lecture method more and eliminate learning activities. So that students feel bored and not interested in following the learning process, this results in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) describe whether or not there are differences in the make a match model and discussion methods on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Kurun, (2) describe the level of effectiveness of learning with the make a match model and discussion method. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research method used an experimental method in the form of a randomized pretest-posttest comparison design using 2 groups of subjects, namely 1 group as the experimental class I (Make A Match) and 1 group as the experimental class II (Discussion). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Kurun Gunung Mas Regency in class VIIIA and class VIIIB in the 2016/2017 academic year. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Analysis of the data before testing the hypothesis using the normality test and homogeneity test, then testing the hypothesis using t-test analysis. The results showed that the learning outcomes of class VIIIA students who used the make a match method were better than class VIII who used the discussion method with an average score of 81.5625 for class VIIIA and 73.1250 for class VIIIB and based on the results of the t-test showed tcount (4.306) > t table (1.959). Thus it can be concluded that learning using the make a match model is more effective in improving student learning outcomes than using the discussion method

Abstract

This research aims to describe the efforts of R&B Supermarkets in maintaining customer loyalty after Covid 19. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the research subjects being the owners and employees of R&B Supermarkets located in Muara Teweh Regency, Central Kalimantan. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that R&B Self-Service still exists and is able to survive amidst competition for customers after the Covid-19 pandemic. The strategy implemented by Swalayan R&B to maintain customer loyalty after Covid 19 is the best service and a friendly, pleasant and satisfying attitude towards consumers, guaranteed quality of goods, affordable prices, and flexibility in payments both cash and non-cash. It is hoped that the results of this research will be useful as a scientific reference that can be conveyed to students as intellectuals and prospective young entrepreneurs as drivers of the economy in the future

Abstract

The perception raised in this study is how the community’s perception of family welfare in the village of Sagu Sukamulya, Kotawaringin Lama district, West Kotawaringin Regency. This study aims to determine the community’s perception of family welfare in the village of Sagu sukamulya, Kotawaringin Lama District, West Kotawaringin Regency. The study uses a qualitative method using a approach descriptive, while the data collection, the author uses of method interviews, observations and documentation. As for the data analysis, the authors use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the public’s perception of family welfare. The perception of the community that most of the community’s understanding of family welfare is that they know that family welfare is good in general they already know what family welfare is, so the head of the family is trying to improve the quality of family welfare through family members by means of family members continuing their education to college so that family members can become quality human resources. However, there are also family heads who put more emphasis on family members by increasing their income, namely with family members who start working after graduating from high school/vocational equivalent without continuing their education to a higher level. So based on the views and perceptions of the people above that more people from the Sasak (Lombok) tribe are more supportive of the education of their family members compared to the Javanese and Sundanese. However, the results of the research show that even though the community comes from the same tribe, the same island and even the same work. However, the views on family welfare are different due to the patterns and principles of each family’s life. Although education is very influential on the level of family welfare. But what happened was that the people in the village of Sagu Sukamulya even though they were not graduates of a bachelor’s degree, the community was able to survive with a luxurious lifestyle, because there are people who understand that a prosperous family is a family that is satisfied with the life they lead, something that is easy to achieve, enough to be grateful to get blessings in life and follow the lifestyle desired by each family

Abstract

This article discusses post-pandemic marketing strategies that can be implemented by the Prima Mandiri Utama Education Institute to face new challenges and opportunities in the world of education. Taking into account changes in consumer behavior patterns and post-pandemic market dynamics, this research explores various innovative approaches in education marketing with the aim of obtaining data on the marketing strategies of the main prima mandiri educational institutions post-pandemic. The method used is a qualitative research method that involves collecting and analyzing data in the form of text, images, or sounds. This method emphasizes interpretation, theory development, and understanding of the context in which the marketing strategy is carried out. The overall analysis shows that Prima Mandiri Utama Educational Institution has a main focus on improving the quality of teaching and services as an effort to form quality human resources (HR), with students as the main customers. Post-pandemic, the institution's marketing strategy has undergone significant changes, promoting through competitions, socialization, and social media, especially Instagram. post-pandemic marketing strategy focuses more on utilizing digital marketing, while still conducting direct marketing through competitions and educational-themed seminars.

Abstract

This research examines the important role of Pokdarwis Nyaru Menteng in improving community welfare in Tumbang Tahai sub-district of Palangka Raya city, focusing on ecotourism and its impact on community empowerment, environmental management, and local economic growth. Using a qualitative approach, the research involved direct observation and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including local residents, Pokdarwis leaders and administrators, and government agencies such as the forestry and tourism offices of central Kalimantan province and Palangka Raya city. The findings of this study highlight that Pokdarwis have successfully engaged local communities in tourism activities, leading to improved social and economic welfare. However, challenges related to managerial capacity and economic sustainability remain, particularly in relation to fluctuating visitor numbers. This research underscores the need for continued government support, enhanced managerial training and diversification strategies to ensure long-term economic stability. In addition, better environmental management practices are needed to preserve local biodiversity. This research contributes to a broader understanding of community-based tourism by emphasizing the importance of local participation and sustainable practices in tourism management to achieve improved welfare for the community

Abstract

Opportunities to increase students' interest in entrepreneurship are still very open. Entrepreneurship training programs, inspirational seminars, and the provision of business incubator facilities at universities can help build a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship. In the Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Palangka Raya University, there are courses such as Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management courses that can be a tool to foster entrepreneurial interest among students, so that through these courses, it can be a driving force for students to become entrepreneurs after completing college. Therefore, the Economics Education Study Program views entrepreneurship not only as an additional skill, but as a core competency that must be possessed by graduates. Students of the economic education study program are expected to understand the principles of economics and be able to apply them in entrepreneurial practices, so that they can become the driving force of economic development in the region and nationally.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the main driving factors that contribute significantly to the economic improvement of a region. Despite this, MSMEs have efforts to create jobs and have high quality labor absorption. MSMEs have the ability to drive stable, long-term, and sustainable economic growth as they are considered to be able to survive even under crisis conditions. The fact that they can be established with little capital or investment means that MSMEs can be considered to have the ability to grow and develop quickly. For this reason, one of the factors that influence MSMEs to continue to develop is an understanding of good financial management, namely through financial literacy. This financial literacy is very important to study because everyone who has a business must certainly be able to understand financial literacy well, because basically this financial literacy can affect the way a person thinks about financial conditions and affect strategic decision making in terms of finance and management
