Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of computer extracurricular activities at SDN Karangrejo 03 in improving students' skills in the field of technology. The approach used is qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of the study indicate that computer extracurricular activities are planned systematically through identifying student needs, scheduling activities, and providing facilities. The organization involves supervising teachers and the formation of study groups based on student abilities. The mobilization process is carried out by providing motivation through awards, interactive learning materials, and collaboration. Routine supervision by the principal and teachers ensures implementation according to plan. This activity not only improves students' technical skills but also critical and creative thinking skills, preparing them to face the challenges of the digital era. This study concludes that effective management in computer extracurricular activities plays an important role in the development of students' overall skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop the management of guidance and counseling (GC) services through a website at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 8 Jember. The primary focus is to understand the implementation of web-based systems to support GC services, improve communication efficiency among counselors, students, and parents, and systematically document service outcomes. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the website as a medium for GC services accelerates the information delivery process, facilitates students in accessing counseling services, and increases parental participation. Additionally, the system supports structured data management, making service evaluation more efficient. With proper management, the website becomes an effective tool in achieving GC objectives at MTsN 8 Jember.

Abstract

Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School implements the Muadalah Kulliyatul Muballighien Al-Islamiyah (KMI) program which aims to produce muballigh who not only master religious knowledge but are also competent in da'wah and education. The program seeks to align the pesantren curriculum with the formal curriculum to ensure the quality of education is equivalent to formal educational institutions. This study aims to evaluate the curriculum management of the Muadalah program in the pesantren, focusing on the process of curriculum planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, which involves interviews and direct observation. The results showed that Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School has integrated the pesantren curriculum with the national curriculum, as well as implemented relevant learning methods, such as tahfidz and yellowIslamic classic books, to equip students with in-depth religious knowledge and da'wah skills in accordance with the challenges of the times. However, challenges in the management of human resources and educational facilities still need attention to improve the effectiveness of this program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the student organization (Orsiwa) at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid Peminatan Unggulan Keagamaan Paiton Probolinggo and its role in enhancing students' awareness of organization. Orsiwa is an organization managed by students with a structure resembling a government system, consisting of executive, legislative, judicial, and press branches. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study include the head of the madrasa, the vice principal for student affairs, the managers and members of Orsiwa, as well as the guiding teachers. The findings indicate that planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising within Orsiwa are carried out effectively, contributing to an increase in students' awareness of organization, the development of leadership skills, and the strengthening of cooperation among members. This structured management also positively impacts the quality of activities and the enhancement of students' character. The study recommends that the existing management system be maintained and further developed as an effective and inspiring model for student organizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini yang berjudul "Teknik Pengambilan Keputusan Kreatif Kepala Sekolah SMK Trunojoyo Jember" dengan fokus pada pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam mengambil keputusan yang dapat mempengaruhi kemajuan dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan. Topik ini menarik karena menggali tantangan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam membuat keputusan yang tidak hanya tepat secara administratif, tetapi juga kreatif dan inovatif, khususnya dalam menghadapi dinamika perubahan yang terus berkembang di dunia pendidikan. Keunikan penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatannya yang menyoroti proses pengambilan keputusan yang melibatkan pemikiran kreatif, yang seringkali kurang dieksplorasi dalam konteks kepemimpinan sekolah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kepala sekolah menerapkan pendekatan kreatif dalam pengambilan keputusan serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses tersebut, dengan menggunakan model brainstorming dan synectics. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya kreativitas dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan, yang dapat mendorong inovasi dalam pengelolaan sekolah dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of intracurricular curriculum management, which refers to the management of the curriculum implemented during official school hours to support the achievement of effective learning objectives, particularly in strengthening students' competencies in specific fields. The Visual Communication Design (DKV) program at SMK Negeri 5 Jember serves as a creative learning medium based on technology that is relevant for developing digital literacy. Digital literacy itself is the ability to understand, use, and utilize technology and digital media wisely and productively.

Abstract

The climate crisis and rapid social changes demand the education sector to produce a generation that is environmentally conscious and responsible. The Environmental Education Extracurricular Program "Generasi Sadar Iklim" (Gensalim) at SMP Negeri 1 Panti was established as an effort to instill ecological awareness from an early age. Effective management plays a key role in ensuring the sustainability and achievement of environmental education goals. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that planning was carried out by involving the principal, supervising teachers, and students through needs analysis, goal setting, work program development, activity scheduling, attendance listing, and the provision of facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, the organizing process was conducted through coordination between the principal, the student affairs vice principal, and the supervisors, marked by the appointment of supervisors, the formation of organizational structure, and the distribution of tasks. The implementation involved all Grade VII and VIII students through class representatives using various learning approaches such as lectures, video screenings, and field practices. Finally, the evaluation was conducted both internally by the school and externally by related institutions.
