Abstract

Proses pengelasan terutama pada sambungan pipa longitudinal, merupakan masalah kompleks. Industri besar seperti produsen pipa atau MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), serta Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM) di bidang pengelasan sering menghadapi kendala dalam pengelasan manual, seperti undercut, arc strikes dan hasil las, yang memerlukan welder ahli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi cacat pengelasan pada silinder logam. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pahl and Beitz, dimulai dengan perencanaan, perancangan konsep, perancangan detail, dokumentasi, realisasi alat dan pengujian menggunakan mesin las Fronius Vario Star 317. Hasilnya adalah rancangan dan realisasi alat bantu pengelasan GMAW untuk sambungan pipa longitudinal. Pengujian dilakukan pada pipa ∅4 inci dengan tebal 4 mm, menggunakan arus 124 ampere dan kecepatan kawat umpan 2,8 mm/s, serta variasi kecepatan motor DC. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pengelasan dengan alat pada variasi kecepatan menghasilkan garis longitudinal yang lebih baik dibandingkan pengelasan manual. Kecepatan motor optimal pada duty cycle 23% menghasilkan pengelasan visual yang baik tanpa cacat, sedangkan pada duty cycle 24% terjadi undercut, dan pada 22% terjadi overlap.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to assess the child-friendly school programs in South Tangerang City, with a specific focus on SMPN 18 South Tangerang City. The research aims to identify areas for improvement in order to enhance the effectiveness of these programs in the upcoming year. Leo Agustino (2023) Evaluation theory serves as the framework, encompassing elements such as apparatus or human resources, institutions, infrastructure and technology, finance, and regulations. Data for this study were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research site was SMPN 18 South Tangerang City. Key findings include: (1) Insufficient human resources in the implementation of child-friendly school programs; (2) Lack of collaboration and coordination among program implementers; (3) Adequate but insufficient Facilities, Infrastructure, and Technology, leading to disruptions in teaching and learning activities; (4) Financial shortcomings, necessitating independent fundraising by the school to support program activities; (5) Adherence to regulations governing child-friendly school programs, yet suboptimal impact due to prevalent physical and verbal violence in the school environment. In summary, the study sheds light on various challenges in the current implementation of child-friendly school programs at SMPN 18 South Tangerang City, providing valuable insights for improvement in the upcoming year.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa perubahan besar dalam pelayanan public termasuk Kantor Pertanahan. Pada era Society 5.0, teknologi digital menjadi kunci untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih baik, berkelanjutan, dan inklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas kegunaan, kualitas informasi, kualitas interaksi, dengan kepuasan pengguna. Tempat penelitian yaitu Kantor Pertanahan Kota Cilegon dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 102 PPAT. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kualitas kegunaan, kualitas informasi, kualitas interaksi, dengan kepuasan pengguna layanan website Kantor Pertanahan Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini memberikan saran perlunya optimalisasi berkelanjutan mengenai kepuasan melalui analisis, pembaruan rutin, dan umpan balik pengguna

Abstract

Environmental damage can be detrimental to the government and society such as damage to public infrastructure that is usually used by the community such as roads, places of worship, and educational facilities. the purpose of the research is to find out the Implementation of Tangerang Regency Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2010 concerning Environmental Supervision and Control in Cikupa District. The theory used is according to Edwards III's view consisting of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation & documentation studies. The findings in the field show that communication between organizations & implementing activities is not optimal, due to the tug of interest between the Tangerang Regency government and the Central Government. The resources of the flood control system in Cikupa Sub-district are not optimal, because the human resources available for maintaining flood control infrastructure are still lacking. The attitude / tendency of the implementers is not optimal because the community / village parties' proposals submitted to the Cidanau-Ciujung-Cidurian BBWS are difficult to realize, the bureaucratic structure in the implementation of the flood control system in Cikupa Subdistrict is not optimal, because the implementers work based on their respective main tasks & functions so that the commands / orders between the implementers involved are not synchronized. Abstract

The formation of childcare regulations based on children's rights within the Islamic boarding school (pesantren) environment has become a crucial necessity in addressing the prevalent issue of violence against students (santri) in recent times. In the context of education, childcare based on children's rights is essential to ensure the protection, development, and optimal well-being of students, thereby creating a child-friendly educational environment in pesantren. By employing the library research method and a phenomenological approach derived from the researcher's experiences, this study explores the conditions of childcare patterns in pesantren, the differences in the characteristics of student care, and the urgency of establishing relevant regulations. The research findings indicate that a childcare pattern based on children's rights is urgently needed to prevent violence and ensure quality care provision within the pesantren environment. The government needs to take concrete steps in the formulation of such regulations by involving relevant stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and enhancement of the quality of education in pesantren while effectively safeguarding children's rights. This research is expected to contribute to the development of inclusive education policies that prioritize children's interests in Indonesia, particularly within pesantren contexts.

Abstract

BUMDes are local economic institutions established to manage village potential and assets to improve the welfare of village communities. PP Number 11 of 2021 provides a stronger legal basis for the establishment, management, and development of BUMDes so that they can become competitive drivers of the local economy. This study aims to examine the implementation of this regulation in improving the welfare of the people in Panimbangjaya Village, Panimbang District, Pandeglang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and refers to the implementation theory by Van Meter and Van Horn, which includes six dimensions: policy standards and objectives, resources, inter-organizational communication, characteristics of implementers, economic, social and political conditions, and the disposition of policy implementers. The results show that the implementation of Government Regulation Number 11 of 2021 has not been optimal. The policy standards and objectives have not been achieved, as most BUMDes programs are not running and their impact is not widely felt by the community. Limited human resources, minimal budget support, weak communication, and lack of local government assistance are the main obstacles. While commitment from the village government and BUMDes management remains, strengthening capacity and providing further assistance are necessary to ensure more effective implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of reclosers in improving the reliability of the 20 kilovolt distribution network at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Lhokseumawe. The research focuses on optimizing the placement and delay time settings of reclosers based on fault current and network impedance. A comparative method was used involving manual calculations and simulation using ETAP 16.0.0 software. The object of study is the CD 12 feeder. The simulation evaluates fault currents and the corresponding recloser delay times at several bus locations. Results show that the closer the fault location to the power source, the higher the short-circuit current, which leads to shorter recloser operating time. Conversely, longer distances result in lower fault currents and longer delay settings. The analysis confirms that proper coordination and parameter settings significantly improve system protection and recovery. Moreover, differences between manual and simulation results emphasize the importance of digital tools in distribution network analysis. The study concludes that recloser configuration based on accurate load profiles and fault data enhances overall system performance and operational efficiency.

Abstract

In this paper, the macrostructure and mechanical properties of medium carbon steel with cannibal consumable filler by using the GTAW process have been investigated. The medium carbon steel (ST 37) plates with dimensions of 300 × 250 ×3 mm were used for welding and 2.5 mm of thickness for the filler. For welding parameters, current of 80 A was chosen and observed over the welded specimen. Welding was performed with single Vgroove butt Joint design, 30° bevel angle. Preparation of samples was done according to standard. To explore the optimum welding specimen, both tensile and bending tests were carried out. The result of the welding process with the current of 80A shows that the face part tends to be more embossed and the root part looks less embossed, there are parts that lack penetration. This causes a lack of weld strength due to incomplete penetration of the root part. The face section produces maximum and strong results, while at the root there are cracks that are almost broken. This is due to lack of fusion because the current is too small resulting in differences in weld strength between the face and root, which affects the bending test results. In the tensile test results, a fracture occurred in the weld metal in the form of a brittle fracture. This is caused by a lack of fusion and very minimal penetration of the filler metal into the weld groove. Based on the macro test analysis carried out, minimal root penetration or no penetration occurs, while the weld seam accumulates on the face. Based upon the present study it is not recommended that 80 A of welding current when GTAW process using canibal consumable filler. The current of 80A may need to improve to produce good welding.

Abstract

Stainless steel 316L pipe welding joints are widely used in industry, especially in the Bio-Medical field. In order to develop research on this field, the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process was carried out on the butt joint of ASS 316L. In this study, the ASS 316L pipe of 89 mm (3.5 inches), a thickness of 2.6 mm, and a length of 100 mm was investigated. The effect of current variations of 30, 40, and 50A with shielding gas and Argon backing gas were analyzed. ER316L have been selected as filler metal for GTAW process. The results of microstructural observations for all currents showed the formation of dendritic and widmanstanten structures in the weld metal and austenitic phases in the base metal. The mechanical tests has been conducted to find out the ultimate tensile strength and and hardness as well as observations of the macro structure in the weld metal (WM), heat affected zone (HAZ), and base metal (BM) areas. Visual observation of the 40A current showed more stable surface and penetration results compared to the 30 and 50A currents. Observations of the macro structure were correlated with the results of visual observations of the 40A current, indicating good fusion and no defects exceeding the standard. The highest tensile strength test results were obtained in specimens with a current of 50A of 659 MPa, followed by a current of 40A of 651 MPa, and a current of 30A of 649.3 MPa. However, the highest elongation was found in specimens with a current of 40A, which was 45.3%, while specimens with currents of 30A and 50A had the same elongation value of 39.3%. The general distribution of hardness in the weld metal area was greater than in the heat affected zone and base metal areas.
