Abstract

Teaching modules are written materials in the form of paper sheets that are bound and covered and present knowledge that is systematically arranged. This research aims to develop valid, effective, and practical teaching modules based on the culture of Pakpak Bharat Sumatra. This study uses a research and development (R&D) model with the ADDIE model with five main stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This teaching module has been validated by 9 experts, namely material experts, media design experts, and linguists. The study had 2 trials: a small group trial (15 students) and a large group trial (45 students). Based on the combined percentage of validity of teaching modules, according to experts, 82% is categorized as "good/valid." The practicality of the teaching module was measured through the RPP implementation sheet carried out in a small group trial of 81% categorized as good/valid and a large group trial of 88% categorized as "very good/very valid". Based on these results, it can be concluded that the teaching module in class V of SD Sibengkurung North Sumatra is categorized as "suitable for use".

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap urgensi analisis pemberitaan insiden penendangan siswa SMP oleh Disdik Nabire dalam konteks demonstrasi “Tolak MBG” sebagai salah satu bentuk konstruksi realitas oleh media. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan model framing Robert N. Entman, penelitian ini menganalisis elemen-elemen seperti definisi masalah, identifikasi penyebab, penilaian moral, dan rekomendasi penyelesaian dalam narasi pemberitaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi konten terhadap berita daring dari beberapa sumber serta perbandingan dengan video asli peristiwa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara narasi media dan bukti visual asli, di mana beberapa media menekankan pelanggaran etik dan hukum, sedangkan media lain lebih menyoroti konteks emosional dan politik tanpa mengangkat isu yang lebih luas. Analisis dan diskusi mengindikasikan bahwa perbedaan framing tersebut memiliki dampak positif dalam mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya transparansi informasi dan evaluasi kritis terhadap pemberitaan. Kesimpulannya, variasi dalam framing pemberitaan secara signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi publik, sehingga diperlukan perhatian lebih terhadap mekanisme penyuntingan dan bias editorial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan literatur komunikasi massa dan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang dinamika penyajian berita.

Abstract

This research describes how the mining conflicts in Nagan Raya and Central Aceh Regency between the local community and PT Emas Mineral Murni (PT EMM). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study as a data collection technique by searching literature through online news pages on the internet using the search keyword “Aceh Conflict PT EMM”. Content analysis uses Occam’s razor logical principle to read and interpret data to explain a complete picture of the conflict situation without involving unnecessary assumptions. This research found many stakeholders involved in the conflict aside from the local community and PT EMM. Besides, the conflict is focused not only on competition to seize natural resources but also on overlapping legal authority. Low interaction between stakeholders causes conflict to grow and develop. The conflict’s final result is a resolution in the form of a petition signed by the Acting Governor. He stated that he would sue PT EMM with a guarantee of resigning from the position if he cannot realize Acehnese students’ aspirations.
