Abstract

The aim of the problem in writing this thesis is to determine the suitability between performance and expectations for the services provided by the UPTD Puskesmas Senaken and to find out what attributes are the main priority in improving the quality of service at the UPTD Puskesmas Senaken. The sample in this study was people who visited in June 2023 using an incidental sampling technique, the number of samples obtained was 50 respondents. The community as the research sample was given a questionnaire consisting of 24 statements. The responses to the questionnaire were tested for validity and reliability before the importance performance analysis (IPA) method was carried out using SPSS. The results of testing the research instrument, namely the questionnaire, showed that 24 statement items were declared valid because r count > r table. Apart from that, all statements are reliable because the Cronbach's alpha performance value is > 0.60 (0.916 > 0.60), and Cronbach's alpha expectation > 0.60 (0.916 > 0.60). The value of the level of community satisfaction with the UPTD services at the Senaken Community Health Center is 93%, meaning that the community feels "very satisfied" with the service performance of the UPTD at the Senaken Community Health Center. To improve the quality of UPTD Puskesmas Senaken services more optimally, the UPTD Puskesmas Senaken should immediately improve the attributes, including: officers respond well to the community, officers carry out services appropriately, officers carry out services carefully so that services are fast.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by MSMEs in Makassar City in facing global competition. The main focus of this study is how MSMEs adopt innovation in products, digital marketing, and human resource capacity building to increase competitiveness and business sustainability. The research method used is a mixed-method approach, with data collection through literature studies, analysis of official documents, and reports from the Cooperatives and MSMEs Office regarding MSME growth trends from 2021 to 2023. The results show that product innovation strategies, the use of digital technology in marketing, and access to capital through partnerships with financial institutions contribute to MSME growth, as reflected in the increase in the number of developing businesses from 34% in 2021 to 71% in 2023. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, limited access to international markets, and intense competition with global products remain major obstacles. To strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs, synergy is needed between the government, academia, and the private sector in providing training, mentoring, and more inclusive access to financing. The results of this study indicate that innovation supported by a conducive business ecosystem can increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in Makassar City and simultaneously stimulate local economic growth. Recommendations are provided for strengthening digitalization-based policies and economic inclusion to support MSME development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of poverty in Enrekang Regency over the past 10 years, focusing on factors influencing fluctuations in poverty levels and the effectiveness of implemented poverty alleviation programs. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data analysis methods obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and various relevant government reports. In addition, qualitative analysis was also conducted through interviews with local policymakers to understand the policy context and its implementation. The results show that despite a gradual decline in poverty levels, disparities between regions remain significant, particularly between rural and urban areas. Factors such as limited access to education, inadequate infrastructure, and dependence on the agricultural sector are the main causes that slow down poverty reduction. On the other hand, social assistance programs and community-based economic development have had a positive impact, although not optimal. This study concludes that to achieve more significant poverty reduction, more focused efforts are needed on improving the quality of human resources, developing infrastructure, and diversifying the local economy. Policy recommendations include increasing access to education, strengthening the non-agricultural sector, and optimizing more targeted social assistance programs.
