Abstract

To be able to enhance and support of English skills, learners previously have to master vocabulary. In contrast, students consider and see English as a foreign language that is not understood, unused, and feared. Beside, they easily forget the newly learned words that have been taught. Those are mostly problem that are faced of students in learning vocabulary. The objectives of this research are finding out whether: (1) mnemonic is more effective than direct instruction to teach vocabulary; (2) the students having high creativity have better vocabulary mastery than those having low creativity; (3) there is an interaction between teaching techniques and creativity in teaching vocabulary. This research was an experimental study.

Abstract

This research focuses on implementing Al-Qur'an literacy, especially through tahsin activities, to improve the quality of Al-Qur'an reading at Tritech Vocational School. The aim is to evaluate the impact of the tahsin method on students' ability to read the Koran. By using a subjective approach, data was obtained through meetings, perceptions, and documentation from teachers as subjects and students as research objects. The results show that the application of the tahsin method is successful in improving Al-Qur'an reading skills, with supporting factors involving student readiness, quality of educators, learning intentions, and learning objectives. However, obstacles such as lack of control by educators and students' laziness need to be considered. In conclusion, the implementation of the tahsin method at Tritech Vocational School is effective in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading, and the evaluation provides input for improving teaching strategies and the role of parents in supporting Al-Qur'an learning.

Abstract

Wali 'adhal adalah wali yang enggan menikahkan wanita yang telah baligh dengan pria pilihannya. Jika terjadi wali adhal, maka wali hakim baru dapat bertindak sebagai wali nikah setelah ada penetapan oleh Pengadilan Agama yang menyatakan mengenai wali adhal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui; a) Bagaimana Implementasi Penetapan Adhal Wali di Pengadilan Agama Ujung Tanjung Dalam Perspektif Maslahat?; b) Bagaimana Hakikat dan Filosofi Penetapan Wali 'Adhal Menurut Hakim Pengadilan Agama Ujung Tanjung?; c) Apa dampak penunjukan wali 'Adhal terhadap tata cara perkawinan? Penelitian ini jika dilihat dari lokasi sumber datanya termasuk dalam kategori penelitian lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pengadilan Agama Ujung Tanjung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data adalah upaya yang dilakukan dengan cara l) reduksi data (data reduction), 2) penyajian data (display data dan 3) penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi (conclusion drawing/verification). Hasil penelitian ini adalah; 1) Hakikat dan Filosofi Penunjukan Wali 'Adhal menurut Hakim Pengadilan Agama dalam menentukan wali 'Adhal harus dilihat dari berbagai sudut pendapat para ulama madzhab dan mengacu pada Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 dan KHI; 2) Pelaksanaan Penetapan Wali 'Adhal di Pengadilan Agama Ujung Tanjung Berperspektif Maslahat yaitu mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Agama Nomor 30 Tahun 2005 dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut, yaitu: Pertama, pemanggilan para pihak yaitu pemohon dan wali, Kedua, upaya perdamaian, Ketiga, membaca surat permohonan, Keempat, pemeriksaan sidang, Kelima, membacakan hasil keputusan majelis hakim;3) Dampak pengangkatan wali 'Adhal terhadap tata cara perkawinan mempunyai dampak sebagai berikut: Dampak positif (maslahat), yaitu (a), pemohon dapat melangsungkan perkawinan menurut kaidah hukum agama dan hukum negara sebagaimana termuat. di KHI; b) Menghindari perbuatan asusila (zina), dengan putusan yang telah diberikan oleh hakim; c) Menegaskan kembali dengan jelas hak dan tanggung jawab wali dalam perkawinan serta akibat yang diberikan jika terjadi keengganan; dampak negatif dari pengangkatan wali 'Adhal adalah sebagai berikut: a) hilangnya tanggung jawab wali dalam membesarkan anaknya dalam perkawinan; b) Hilangnya keharmonisan dalam keluarga

Abstract

not only emphasizes intellectual aspects but also involves aspects of emotional and spiritual intelligence. For this reason, the main source of character teaching is needed as the main value base in the concept of Islamic education. This article aims to analyze character education extracted from the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad and see the main and basic values that exist in character education based on the Prophet's hadith. The research method used is qualitative research (library research), emphasizing meaning. The research data comes from hadith books and character education. Data analysis uses hermeneutics or text interpretation by means of content analysis. Textual and contextual discussions are associated with educational issues in order to obtain a more contextual and applicable meaning. The results showed that the concept of character education from the perspective of the Prophet's hadith aims to develop the students' nature of having good morals and being able to live in a social environment. The main and fundamental values that exist in character education based on the Prophet's hadith are to strengthen the human nature and basic character of a Muslim. Abstrak Dalam dunia global yang penuh tantangan dekadensi moral dibutuhkan pendidikan karakter yang bukan hanya sekedar menekankan pada aspek intelektual, tapi juga harus melibatkan aspek kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sumber utama pengajaran karakter sebagai basis dasar nilai utama dalam konsep pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan karakter yang digali dari sunnah Nabi Muhammad SAW serta melihat nilai-nilai utama dan mendasar yang ada dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis hadis Nabi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif (library research), menekankan kepada meaning. Data penelitian berasal dari kitab-kitab hadis dan pendidikan karakter. Analisis data menggunakan hermeneutika atau interprestasi teks dengan cara content analysis. Pembahasan secara tekstual dan kontekstual dikaitkan dengan masalah-masalah pendidikan guna mendapatkan makna yang lebih kontesktual dan aplikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif hadis Nabi bertujuan untuk mengembangkan fitrah peserta didik dalam memiliki akhlak yang baik dan mampu hidup di lingkungan sosial.keadaan. Adapun nilai-nilai utama dan mendasar yang ada dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis hadis Nabi adalah untuk memantapkan fitrah kemanusiaan dan karakter dasar seorang muslim.

Abstract

This article examined the profound relationship between religion and Islamic civilization by tracing Islam’s historical, philosophical, and epistemological contributions in shaping an exemplary society (ummatan wāsiṭan). Islam is positioned not only as a spiritual and ritualistic system but also as a civilizational foundation encompassing the domains of knowledge, society, politics, and culture. The Islamic epistemological approaches Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani are explored as theoretical frameworks that integrate revelation, reason, and spiritual intuition. The current article also emphasized the urgency of cultivating Irfani character among Muslim scholars as agents of social transformation who embody scientific excellence, spiritual depth, and social commitment. By upholding the principles of wasatiyyah and the Islamization of studies; this study offered an alternative perspective for constructing a modern Islamic civilization that is just, civilized, and transcendent. The current article concluded by underlining the strategic role of Muslim academics in reconstructing Islamic civilization amid the challenges of globalization and contemporary moral crises.
