Abstract

This research aims to implement diorama media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning to increase student creativity at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Huda Lodan. The approach used is a design research method, which involves the development and repeated testing of the use of dioramas as a learning tool. This research was carried out through several stages, namely: problem identification, diorama design, implementation, evaluation and revision based on feedback from teachers and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and assessing student creativity before and after the intervention. The research results show that the use of dioramas significantly increases student involvement and creativity in the learning process, especially in critical thinking, imagination and problem solving skills. Thus, diorama media has proven to be effective as an innovative learning tool to increase student creativity in science classes.

Abstract

The problems faced by teachers in implementing learning are diverse, such as low student activeness and creative thinking skills. The presence of Wordwall learning media is expected to overcome both problems. The purpose of writing this article is to find out: 1) Implementation of Wordwall learning media in social studies lessons in class VIII G SMP N 4 Bae; 2) The results of increasing learning activeness and cultivation of creative thinking character of students through social studies learning by using Wordwall media at SMP N 4 Bae; 3) The driving factors and inhibitors in the implementation of Wordwall learning media in class VIII G SMP N 4 Bae. Descriptive qualitative research methods include test, observation, and interviews. The results of this study: 1) Implementation of Wordwall learning media, there are 3 stages (opening, core, closing); 2) Wordwall learning media proved to be effective in increasing students' learning activeness and critical thinking skills; 3) The driving factors are the availability of sarpras, easy access to Wordwall, and student enthusiasm. As well as inhibiting factors in the form of technical and non-technical constraints, limited learning time, and students who are arbitrary. In conclusion, the implementation of Wordwall learning media can increase the activeness and creative thinking skills of students in SMP 4 Bae Kudus

Abstract

The phenomenon in the modern era is characterized by the rapid development of technology, information and communication. Learning media is used as an intermediary to convey messages or information to students. Using creative media can influence students to like the subject. In this journal, researchers used an experimental research method with a descriptive quantitative approach. With a research sample of VIII C MTs NU Nurul Ulum students totaling 29 students. The results in this study are decreased, it shows that the interactive learning method using the Quiz application is less effective in learning in class VIII-C MTS Nu Nurul Ulum. This is evidenced by the minimum pretest score of 60 and the maximum score of 86 and for the minimum post test score of 20 and the maximum score of 85. The average pretest is 74.38 and for the post test is 72.59. The results of the pretest and post test have decreased

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi mitigasi banjir di Kecamatan Karanganyar, Kabupaten Demak, dalam perspektif keilmuan pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak menekankan aspek teknis pengendalian banjir. Fokus utama penelitian adalah memahami keterkaitan antara aspek sosial, ekonomi, politik, geografis, dan pendidikan dalam upaya pengurangan risiko bencana. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan tujuh informan utama, yaitu tokoh masyarakat, perangkat desa, dan warga terdampak yang aktif dalam kegiatan mitigasi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka dari laporan resmi BNPB, BPBD, dan literatur akademik. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mitigasi banjir di Karanganyar melibatkan sinergi antara pemerintah, lembaga kebencanaan, dan masyarakat melalui pendekatan struktural (perbaikan tanggul, pemasangan pompa air, pemeliharaan drainase) serta nonstruktural (pemanfaatan Teknologi Modifikasi Cuaca (TMC), Membentuk Pos Komando Darurat Bencana Untuk Koordinasi Penanganan Banjir, Melakukan evakuasi warga terdampak ke lokasi pengungsian, Menyiapkan Dapur Umum Dan Distribusi Bantuan Pangan Serta Obat-Obatan.). Nilai-nilai sosial seperti gotong royong, solidaritas dan tanggung jawab kolektif menjadi faktor utama dalam penguatan ketahanan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan perspektif pendidikan IPS ke dalam studi mitigasi bencana, menjadikan bencana sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual yang menumbuhkan karakter tangguh, peduli lingkungan, dan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada penguatan kebijakan mitigasi berbasis masyarakat, tetapi juga memperkaya pengembangan pembelajaran IPS yang relevan dengan konteks sosial dan ekologis lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui bagaimana tradisi sebagai bentuk kearifan lokal yang memiliki kesinambungan dengan pelestarian alam yang ada di Desa Colo. Desa Colo merupakan daerah yang memiliki kearifan lokal yang cukup banyak. Salah satunya tradisi Guyang Cekathak. Tradisi guyang cekathak ini oleh masyarakat daerah Colo dianggap sebagai tanda untuk menghormati keberadaan Sunan Muria di Kudus yang telah menyebarkan kebaikan dan kebenaran. Namun, tidak hanya tradisi ini yang juga digunakan masyarakat setempat untuk meminta hujan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tradisi guyang cekathak merupakan kearifan lokal yang masih terus dilakukan hingga sekarang sebagai wujud penghormatan kepada leluhur, permohonan hujan kepada Allah, serta sebagai bentuk pelestarian alam bagi masyarakat sekitar yang mempercayainya.

Abstract

This study analyzes non-Muslim leadership in a Muslim-majority community through Islamic legal culture, highlighting how religious norms, legal consciousness, and local wisdom inform tolerance and coexistence. Using qualitative participatory action research, data were collected via participant observation, with in-depth interviews, and documentation, and also triangulation ensuring validity. The Jrahi community, grounded in Islamic values of ukhuwah (brotherhood), ʿadl (justice), and taʿāwun (mutual help), responded positively to a non-Muslim village head whose character and service aligned with principles of justice and public welfare in Islamic ethics. His election reflected a negotiation between Islamic normative ideals and pragmatic governance, prioritizing integrity, maturity, and leadership capacity over religious affiliation. Although peace promotion was absent from his formal vision and mission, it was realized through cooperation and preservation of local traditions consistent with the Islamic legal value of maslahah. The community’s choice sought to maintain unity, prevent conflict, and guard against both syncretism undermining ʿaqīdah and radical extremism disrupting social order. This case demonstrates how Islamic legal culture adapts within multicultural realities, offering insights into the acceptance of minority leadership in Muslim-majority settings without compromising core Islamic legal and ethical principles.
