Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of different doses of TOP G2 liquid organic fertilizer on the crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF), and crude fat (CFat) content of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) during the second harvest. A completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replications (16 experimental units) was applied. The treatments included: M0 (control, no fertilizer), M1 (10 mL TOP G2/L water), M2 (20 mL TOP G2/L water), and M3 (30 mL TOP G2/L water). Proximate analysis (Kjeldahl, Weende, and Soxhlet methods) was used to measure CP, CF, and CFat levels. ANOVA results indicated no significant differences (P>0.05) in CP, CF, or CFat content across treatments. The average values were 12.49% CP, 29.68% CF, and 1.68% CFat. These results suggest that TOP G2 application, up to 30 mL/L, did not significantly alter the nutritional quality of mini elephant grass in the second harvest. Further studies are recommended to explore higher doses or combined fertilization strategies.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Archipelagic Dry Land Integrated Field Laboratory, Nusa Cendana University, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City, Lasiana Village for 3  months, from march to june 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the thickness of kirinyuh Organic mulch (Chromolaena odorata) on production Fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott), soil and organic ki rinyuh mulch (Chromolaena odorata) the method used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments studied were as follows M0 = no mulch (control),, M1 = 1 cm thick mulch, M2 = 3 cm thick mulch, M3 = 5 cm thick mulch The data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's test. The results of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P˃0,05) on the production of fresh matter, dry matter, and organic matter of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). The conclusion is that ki rinyuh organic mulch (Chromolaena odorata) with a thickness of 3 cm gives the highest response to the production of fresh material (3,911 kg/m^2), dry matter production (29,525 kg/m^2), and organic matter production (161,868 g/m^2) mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam terhadap kandungan Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) dan Lignin tanaman Indigofera zollingeriana. Materi yang digunakan adalah anakan Indigofera zollingeriana, tanah, pupuk kandang dan air. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah J1= 1 meter x 1,25 meter, J2= I meter x 1 meter, J3= 1 meter x 0.75 meter, dan J4= 1 meter x 0,50 meter. Variabel yang diukur adalah kandungan Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), dan Lignin. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukan bahwa jarak tanam berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan NDF, berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kandungan ADF dan Lignin. Simpulan bahwa pada jarak tanam (1 x 1,25 m) yang lebih lebar memberikan kandungan NDF, ADF dan lignin tanaman Indigofera zollingeriana lebih rendah dibandingkan pada jarak tanam yang lebih sempit.
