Abstract

This research was conducted at the Archipelagic Dry Land Integrated Field Laboratory, Nusa Cendana University, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City, Lasiana Village for 3  months, from march to june 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the thickness of kirinyuh Organic mulch (Chromolaena odorata) on production Fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott), soil and organic ki rinyuh mulch (Chromolaena odorata) the method used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments studied were as follows M0 = no mulch (control),, M1 = 1 cm thick mulch, M2 = 3 cm thick mulch, M3 = 5 cm thick mulch The data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's test. The results of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P˃0,05) on the production of fresh matter, dry matter, and organic matter of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). The conclusion is that ki rinyuh organic mulch (Chromolaena odorata) with a thickness of 3 cm gives the highest response to the production of fresh material (3,911 kg/m^2), dry matter production (29,525 kg/m^2), and organic matter production (161,868 g/m^2) mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott).

Abstract

The Brigif retention pond not only serves to temporarily store rainwater for groundwater reserving but also reduces the risk of flooding in the Southern Jakarta area. Research was purposed to study two critical conditions of a dike made from clayey material from before to after water impounding stages correlating with its stability. The research will investigate pore-water pressure (u) parameter changes at any stage in both conditions. The parameter of (u) can be predicted (upre) using the laboratory consolidation or oedometer test and measured (uact) completely with hydrostatic pressure (u0) directly in the field. Actual measurements using a piezometer were also conducted on the body of the dike. The prediction analysis used the self-developed program and conventional geotechnical software. The critical peak depth of (u) was found at 3.0 to 4.0 m. The actual settlement potential values reached -0.10 to -1.42 m and matched the prediction result. Safety factor (SF) was around 2.0 to 4.0, or in stable condition. Research results found that the magnitude parameter of (u) could be influenced by groundwater flow and porosity or void ratio fluctuations. The consolidation process also would affect the physical soil pore, contributing to the change of (SF) the dike pond.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the effect of applying TOP G2 organic liquid fertilizer (OLF) level on the production of fresh and dry matter, as well as organic matter of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) in the second harvest. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 4 treatments and 4 replications to obtain 16 experimental units. The treatments were M0: without TOP G2 organic liquid fertilizer (OLF), M1: 10 ml TOP G2 OLF /1 water liter, M2: 20 ml TOP G2 OLF/1 water liter, M3: 30 ml TOP G2 OLF/1. The variables measured in this research are the production of fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the production of fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) for the second harvest. The conclusion of this research is application of TOP G2 OLF at different level has relative same effect on the production of fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter of Mini Elephant Grass. M3 treatment (30ml / 1 liter of water) tends to provide the highest production of fresh matter, dry matter and organic matter.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Desa Laimeta di Kecamatan Kambata Mapa Mbuhang, Kabupaten Sumba Timur, memiliki potensi usaha pekarangan/ halaman rumah yang dapat dikembangkan secara mandiri oleh anggota keluarga dan/atau kelompok tani. Usaha halaman rumah yang memiliki luas 0,25 s d 0.50 ha/ Kepala keluarga (KK) tersebut mampu membuka lapangan pekerjaan dalam skala kecil dan dapat memperkecil angka stunting melalui usaha tanaman hortikultura dan pemeliharaan ayam buras dan ruminasia kecil dan babi dalam system usaha intensif di Desa tersebut. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan berapa usaha pekarangan rumah yang berkembang di desa Laimeta ditinjau dari konsep bisnis mikro dan pemenuhan gizi bagi masyarakat hasil dari kegiatan PKM. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah pemberian materi, pelatihan, observasi dan wawancara dan role play. Hasil kegiatan PKM berdasarkan luaran yang telah dirumuskan tim pelaksana diperoleh bahwa antusiasme peserta pelatihan baik dalam ruangan maupun saat demostrasi dan praktek di lokasi kelompok tani cukup tinggi, Berdasarkan tujuan dan luaran kegiatan PKM diperoleh bahwa gambaran potensi pekarangan rumah di desa Laimeta sangat memadai untuk penyediaan bahan baku pangan lokal dan sebagai penghasilan tambahan bagi petani peternak di desa Laimeta dan sekaligus merupakan jawaban dari upaya Tim pelaksana PKM dalam mengatasi masalah stunting dan pemenuhan gizi bagi keluarga dan atau masyarakat dalam wilayah desa. Perangkat Desa Laimeta Pjs Kades, Kadus, RW dan RT sangat mendukung usaha pemanfaatan halaman rumah keluarga, karena memberikan berbagai keuntungan riil bagi keluarga di desa Laimeta. Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan Halaman Rumah; Asupan Gizi; Stunting
