Abstract

The porous asphalt mixture is a new generation of flexible pavement that is able to pass water in the upper layer (wearing course) both vertically and horizontally. The porous asphalt layer effectively provides more safety, especially when it rains to avoid aquaplaning which causes roughness of the surface to be more rough. Therefore, at this time there are many studies on the use of alternative materials to replace the limited natural materials with materials that can be utilized. The results showed that porous asphalt mixture with used tire crumb as a fine aggregate mixture had an increase in flow value of 6.32% with a decrease in stability value by 27.52% and a decrease Marshall Quotient value at 31.82%. The testing of roughness is increased by 17.71% and Mu-Meter 24.14%. This research is effective in overcoming environmental problems which include processing tire waste of 3.03 tons for 1 km of road pavement construction work.

Abstract

Drought is one of the biggest problems for the community, this problem will be slightly resolved by the compilation of regions with groundwater sources. This research has been carried out in the karst area, Druju Village, Sumbermanjing District, Wetan Regency, Malang. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution of underground air and the pattern between underground rivers in the Wonorejo draw well and spring sources in the Kaligoro River, Wonorejo Hamlet.The method that used is the Self Potential (SP) method to set the moving electrode (leap frop) with 104 measurement points. The results of this study indicate the value of electric potential shown between 0-13.5 mV, and assume that a low potential value (0-1 mV) is an indication of groundwater distribution. Areas with low potential values are found in the empathy area. When taking a distribution of water on the surface of the land that appears through the Kaligoro River, it does not need to go out in one stream with an underground river flowing in the wells of the residents. Abstract

Abstrak: Penambahan jumlah pasien Covid-19 semakin meningkat dalam lima bulan terakhir. Situasi ini membuat semua pihak melakukan berbagai upaya, termasuk rumah sakit dan kampus. Di Kota Depok, RSUD Kota Depok telah menjadi rumah sakit rujukan kasus Covid-19 sejak akhir Maret lalu dan kini menerima kembali pasien non-COVID-19. Hal tersebut menjadikan perlunya fasilitas penunjang kesehatan yang dibutuhkan untuk membantu penanganan pencegahan Covid-19. Prodi D4 Teknik Konstruksi Gedung Politeknik Negeri Jakarta melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan menyediakan Tenda darurat dan Kipas Angin Blower. Untuk skrining pasien yang diduga Covid-19, digunakan tenda agar tidak bercampur dengan pasien lain. Sementara itu, kipas angin digunakan untuk menambah kenyamanan di dalam tenda. Penerapan teori Passive Cooling membuat ruangan tenda menjadi lebih sehat dan segar. Rumah Sakit ini memang membutuhkan fasilitas tambahan, dan mitra pengguna menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat.Abstract:  The addition of Covid-19 patients has been increasingly high in the past five months. This situation has made all parties do various efforts, including hospitals and campuses. In Depok City, Depok City Hospital has been the referral hospital for Covid-19 cases since the end of March and is now accepting non-COVID-19 patients again. It makes the need for health support facilities needed to help handle the prevention of Covid-19. The D4 Jakarta State Polytechnic Building Construction Engineering study program carries out community service activities by providing Emergency Tents and Blower Fans. For screening the patients suspected of having Covid-19, the tent used, so they do not mix with other patients. At the same time, a fan used to add comfort in the tent. Implementation of a Passive cooling theory makes the room of tent becoming healthier and fresh. This hospital did need additional facilities, and the user partners showed a high level of satisfaction with this community service activity

Abstract

Abstrak: Inovasi dalam melakukan pengemasan produk menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan nilai jual produk. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk melakukan sosialisasi diversifikasi produk kepada pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan secara personal ke tiap-tiap rumah warga pemilik UMKM dengan tujuan menghindari kerumunan. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari 5 Dosen kelompok wirausaha, 3 Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Sipil PNJ, dan mitra pengabdian yang berjumlah 20 orang pelaku UMKM di RT 004 RW 014 Jatisampurna Kota Bekasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi ditemukan lebih dari 80% peserta mengalami kendala seperti keterbatasan penguasaan teknologi informasi. Kondisi ini disebabkan karena peserta didominasi oleh warga lanjut usia, sehingga membutuhkan bantuan dan dukungan dari anak-anak mereka yang notabene generasi millenial dan tanggap teknologi. Setelah peserta memiliki produk yang berkualitas untuk dipasarkan secara luas, kami menyarankan untuk melakukan kegiatan berikutnya yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan sertifikat Halal MUI dan BPOM.Abstract:  Innovation in product packaging is one of the efforts to increase the selling value of the product. The purpose of community service activities is to disseminate product diversification to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's). The method of implementing socialization activities is carried out personally to each home of the SME’s owner to avoid crowds. The participants of the activity consisted of 5 lecturers of the entrepreneurial group, 3 students of the Civil Engineering Department of PNJ, and service partners totaling 20 SME’s actors in RT 004 RW 014 Jatisampurna, Bekasi City. The results of the socialization activities found that more than 80% of the participants experienced problems such as limited mastery of information technology. This condition is because the participants are dominated by the elderly, so they need help and support from their children who are millennials and are technology-responsive. After the participants have quality products to be marketed widely, we suggest carrying out the next activity, namely training and assistance in making MUI and BPOM Halal certificates.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembangunan konstruksi yang tidak menggunakan aspek pengendalian dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kegagalan konstruksi, sehingga penetapan standar kualitas terhadap hasil pekerjaan konstruksi melalui pengendalian mutu sangat diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis mutu beton bertulang pekerjaan dinding penahan tanah ‘Proyek Z’. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu pengumpulan data lapangan terhadap pekerjaan dinding penahan tanah yang berupa data pengujian baja tulangan dan data pengujian kuat tekan beton kemudian dilakukan perhitungan bobot mutu sesuai standar yang sudah ditetapkan. Hasil dari analisis dan pembahasan penelitian ini diperoleh nilai kuat leleh rata-rata baja tulangan kelas BjTS 420B untuk ukuran D13 yaitu 474,74 MPa, ukuran D16 yaitu 455,62 MPa, dan ukuran D19 yaitu 487,68 MPa serta nilai kuat tarik baja tulangan kelas BjTS 420B yang diperoleh untuk ukuran D13 yaitu 579,03 MPa, ukuran D16 yaitu 592,03 MPa, dan ukuran D19 yaitu 625,08 MPa kemudian berdasarkan pengujian benda uji beton kelas C-1 dengan mutu rencana f’c 20 MPa diperoleh nilai kuat tekan karakteristik beton yaitu 22,209 Mpa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa bobot mutu beton bertulang pekerjaan dinding penahan tanah pada ‘Proyek Z’ sudah sesuai dengan persyaratan yang ada dan memenuhi standar mutu rencana.

Abstract

Drought is one of the problems in Gedangan Village during the dry season. So that district needs more groundwater resources. The geoelectric-resistivity method usually used for groundwater exploration. This method used for identifying changes in the resistivity of rock layers beneath the earth's surface by flowing direct current (DC). This research intends to identify the pattern of groundwater distribution using the geoelectric-resistivity method with Schlumberger configuration in Gedangan Village, Gedangan District, Malang Regency. Thirteen VES points were obtained by Schlumberger configuration and each long stretch until 400 m. Then each the two parallel VES points arranged to obtain a 2D cross-section. The results indicate this area surrounded by karst and it has lithology consists of sandy marlstone, claystone, and limestone. The resistivity value is between 1.41 - 8.28 Ωm identified as sandy marlstone and it presumed as an aquifer. The aquifers with large amounts of groundwater are in the VES point lines of 01-02, 03-04 and 04-05. These lines are located in the south of the Gedangan district office and the police station.

Abstract

The suitability between expectations and reality of the quality of education students get during college affects students' perceptions of education quality in a study program. Information on the achievement of the implementation of main courses subjects and the teaching and learning process can be used as a basis for evaluating and mapping the gaps between the curriculum and the teaching and learning process with the required competencies. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of core subjects' learning outcomes in the D3 KS and D3 KG Pograms, Department of Civil Engineering PNJ. The method used in this research is the survey method, with purposive random sampling and descriptive analysis approach. Meanwhile, the performance and gap analysis use the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results denote that the students' perceptions of the learning outcomes of the main courses of the D3 KG and D3 KS Programs, Department of Civil Engineering PNJ showed promising results. The IPA analysis shows that six of the seven D3 KG Study Program main courses are in Quadrant II, and six of the eight D3 KS Program main courses are also in Quadrant II.

Abstract

A research to determine the solar activity in the months from January to March 2015, and analyze the characteristics of flare on the rotation angle shifting of the sunspot group of sunspot sample observed, has been conducted. The method was observation and descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Determination of coordinates of sunspot was done using the software IDL. These observations were made in the Aerospace Observation Center (BPD) LAPAN Watukosek. Data were analyzed in the form of a sketch-owned BPD Sunspot LAPAN Watukosek, ie sunspot sketch of months from January to March in 2015 and the data was taken from NOAA. The results showed that the flare is not always the case in large class of sunspot groups, however, the small class was able to produce a flare. Most flares ware occur after experiencing a shift angle in the preceding or following although with angles that were not too large (<10°). The highest solar activity was occurred in January 2015 with the appearance of a sunspot group consisting of as many as 130 in 1063 sunspots. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um024v1i12016p019

Abstract

Proyek Z mengalami keterlambatan pekerjaan di tengah jalannya proyek sehingga berpotensi mengalami kerugian. Oleh sebab itu, pengendalian biaya dan waktu diharapkan mampu memberikan masukan dalam pelaksanaan proyek yang akan datang agar dapat sesuai dengan waktu perencanaan. Tujuan dari proyek akhir adalah menganalisis pengendalian biaya dan waktu pada Proyek Z yang diketahui mengalami keterlambatan di tengah jalannya proyek. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu konsep nilai hasil dengan indikator yang digunakan BCWS, BCWP, dan ACWP. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa biaya pekerjaan minggu ke-9 s/d minggu ke-17 serta minggu ke-21 s/d minggu ke-25 perlu dikendalikan dengan pertumbuhan rata-rata 0,208% - 0,602%. Dari segi waktu perlu dilakukan percepatan pada minggu ke 9-17 serta minggu ke 21-41 dengan pertumbuhan rata-rata 0,545– 13,918%. Faktor pengendalian dapat dilakukan dengan menambah tenaga kerja, peralatan serta waktu lembur sehingga mempercepat proses pelaksanaan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelola Yayasan Riyadul Falah berupaya menambah sarana prasarana berupa gedung sekolah yang recananya akan dibangun dua lantai. Namun di tengah proses pembangunan gedung tersebut mengalami kegagalan konstruksi, struktur balok bangunan mengalami lendutan yang mengakibatkan plat lantai menjadi tidak stabil. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah melakukan pendampingan pengelola Yayasan Riyadul Falah Kabupaten Bogor untuk melakukan perbaikan pada bangunan yang mengalami gagal konstruksi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu peninjauan, diskusi serta pendampingan untuk melakukan proses perbaikan. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari 4 Dosen, 4 Mahasiswa serta mitra pengabdian pengelola Yayasan Riyadul Falah yang berjumlah kurang lebih 20 orang. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian, masyarakat memberikan respon kepuasan atas pelayanan dan pendampingan dengan hasil sangat tinggi terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan masyarakat. Hasil kuisioner menunjukkan sebanyak 61,36% memberikan jawaban sangat setuju dan 38,64% memberikan jawaban setuju. Secara tidak langsung pengelola mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian pada pembangunan, perawatan dan perbaikan bangunan bertingkat rendah. Adapun pelaksanaan perbaikan bangunan gedung menghemat pengeluaran Yayasan kurang lebih sebesar Rp. 50.650.000; anggaran ini meliputi biaya pembongkaran, pembelian material, dan pembangunan ulang.Abstract: The manager of the Riyadul Falah foundation seeks to add infrastructure in the form of a school building that is planned to be built on two floors. However, in the middle of the construction process, the building experienced a construction failure, the beam structure of the building experienced a deflection which caused the floor slab to become unstable. The purpose of community service activities is to assist the manager of the Riyadul Falah Foundation, Bogor Regency to make repairs the buildings that have failed construction. The method used is a survey, discussion, and assistance to carry out the repair process. The participants of the activity consisted of 4 lecturers, 4 students, and service partners of the Riyadul Falah Foundation management, totaling approximately 20 people. Based on the results of community service activities, the community responded with satisfaction to the services and assistance with very high results for the implementation of community activities. The results of the questionnaire showed that 61.36% gave the answer strongly agree and 38.64% gave the answer agree. Indirectly, managers gain new knowledge in planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the construction, maintenance and repair of low-rise buildings. The implementation of building repairs saves a budget of approximately Rp. 50.65 million this budget covers the costs of demolition, purchase of materials, and rebuilding.
