Abstract

The value of a person's personality is measured by the attitudes and actions taken. Good attitude and actions will bring someone to a noble degree. But in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, positive attitudes and behaviors that reflect the noble manners of a person are eroded by the disruption effect of the industrial revolution 4.0. This shift in mindset and patterns of social relations in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 also touched the realm of education. The number of student behaviors that lead to the deterioration of etiquette is a concern for all circles. Especially bad manners are actually carried out by students to their own teacher.Sayyid Muhammad Naquib al-tAtthas as a Muslim scholar and thinker offered an educational concept known as ta'dib. Through the concept of ta'dib, education is projected as a process of forging reason, growth of character and character of students. With the concept of ta'dib, various negative student behaviors as an effect of disruption of the industrial revolution 4.0 can be placed in proportion to then look for formulas to answer the challenges that arise as a result of progress.

Abstract

Cita-cita besar dari seorang menteri pendidikan Nadiem Makarim adalah terciptanya kemerdekaan berpikir dan guru penggerak ada dalam lembaga-lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini dimungkinkan untuk mengadakan perubahan kearah kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Perubahan kearah kemajuan Pendidikan Nasional bukan barang yang mudah. Gerak kemajuan Pendidikan Nasional membutuhkan peran dari seluruh komponen bangsa untuk ikut andil dalam perjalanan kapal besar Indonesia. Ditengah-tengah persoalan bangsa ini diharapkan mucullah guru-guru penggerak yang akan membawa perubahan ke arah kebaikan. Lalu, bagaimana guru memiliki landasan yang kuat agar cinta-cita ini berhasil? Untuk menjawab persoalan ini, penting tampaknya untuk mengambil hikmah perjalanan sejarah manusia dan pemikiran tokoh-tokoh perubahan yang kemudian dapat diterapkan dalam konteks kehidupan sekarang. Gagasan kemerdekaan berpikir singkron dengan pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid. Nurcholish Madjid terkenal dengan gagasan-gagasan perubahan, kemodernan, keterbukaan dan kebebasan berpikir. Dari penelusuran pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid yang mendukung terciptanya kemerdekaan berpikir, kemudian dapat dijadikan nilai prinsip bagi guru penggerak antara lain: 1) menjadikan hasil evaluasi sebagai pangkal perubahan, 2) memiliki prinsip kebebasan berpikir, dan 3) memiliki sikap terbuka dalam ide-ide kamajuan. Namun demikan, ada nilai prinsip yang tetap dijaga yakni kebenaran akidah selalu dipegang sebagai kebenaran sejati.

Abstract

Abstract : This library research study attempts to answer two questions. First, how had  KH. Wahid Hasyim thought about character education? Second, how the character implementation likes reading according to KH. Wahid Hasyim on the current condition of reading power in Indonesia, especially madrasa students? Through inductive analysis, two findings are produced. First, there are eight character values that educated by KH. Wahid Hasyim. The eight values are religious, tolerance, self-attendance, democratic, nationalism, love for the motherland, friendly or communicative, and fond of reading. The second finding in this study, that the fondness of reading KH. Wahid Hasyim is in line with what is contained in the Law on the National Education System (National Education System) No. 20 of 2003 article 4 paragraph 5 which explains that education is carried out by developing a culture of reading, writing and arithmetic for all citizens. Also in line with the command of Allah in the teachings of Islam contained in the first revelation that is "Read in the name of your Lord who created," (Surah Al-'Alaq 96: Verse 1)
