Abstract

The author conducted research examining the role of the Election Supervisory Board of Karawang Regency in providing political education to voters with disabilities. This study applies a qualitative method. The qualitative approach is used to describe and understand the phenomena emerging in the research based on information provided by the research subjects. The subjects of this research are the Chairman of the Karawang Regency Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), the Coordinator of the Prevention, Community Participation, and Public Relations Division, and the Coordinator of the Violation Prevention, Data, and Information Division. The findings of the study reveal that the Karawang Regency Election Supervisory Board plays a very important role in the process of political education for individuals with disabilities. Bawaslu Karawang implements a political education concept that focuses on inclusivity and accessibility for people with disabilities. These efforts include providing educational materials in accessible formats and collaborating with the General Election Commission (KPU) to ensure that polling stations (TPS) are disability-friendly. Political education is tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they understand their rights and how to participate in elections. Participatory supervision involves individuals with disabilities in the election monitoring process, giving them direct insight into the electoral mechanisms and the importance of each stage in maintaining fairness and transparency. This also helps them understand their rights and responsibilities as voters, as well as how to report violations. Keywords: Bawaslu’s Role, Political Education, Disability

Abstract

Abstract The author conducts research by examining the role of Pancasila and citizenship education teachers as motivators in improving civic disposition for class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Rawamerta. This research uses descriptive qualitative research and uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were Pancasila and citizenship education teachers, vice principal for curriculum, and grade XI students. The findings in this study that Pancasila and civic education teachers have a very important role in the education and learning process by providing direction and encouragement to students to have good civic character and not only focus on knowledge but on real practice by providing good examples so that civic disposition in students will be achieved. The program is produced through a friendly habituation program between teachers and students, making civic projects, and habituation to the flag ceremony. With this activity program, it is hoped that students will be able to have good civic character. Keywords: The role of Civics Teacher, Civic Dispositon, Students Abstrak Penulis melakukan penelitian dengan mengkaji peran guru pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan civic disposition bagi peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Rawamerta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif serta menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan peserta didik kelas XI. Hasil temuan di dalam penelitian ini bahwa guru pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan mempunyai peran sangat penting dalam proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran dengan memberikan arahan serta dorongan kepada siswa untuk memiliki karakter kewarganegaraan yang baik dan tidak hanya terfokus pada pengetahuan saja melainkan pada praktik yang nyata dengan memberikan teladan yang baik sehingga civic disposition pada peserta didik akan tercapai. Program yang dihasilkan melalui program pembiasaan ramah Tamah diantara guru dan peserta didik, pembuatan project kewarganegaraan, dan pembiasaan upacara bendera. Dengan program kegiatan tersebut diharapkan peserta didik mampu untuk mempunyai karakter kewarganegaraan yang baik. Kata kunci: Peran Guru PPKn, Civic Disposition, Peserta Didik

Abstract

Riset ini tujuannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh media ular dan kijang terhadap minat belajar anak dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran PKn. Riset ini dilakukan di SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, Karawang, Jawa Barat 41361, beralamat di Jl. Sukadana I. Pinayungan, Telukjambe Timur. Riset ini memakai teknik kuantitatif. Untuk melaksanakan penelitian, khususnya memakai desain quasi eksperimen. Populasi riset ini yaitu 460 siswa. Dalam riset ini, empat puluh siswa kelas VIII C sebagai kelompok kontrol, sedangkan empat puluh satu siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Untuk memperbandingkan tingkat minat belajar kedua kelas penelitian, data riset ini dikumpulkan dengan memakai angket posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, 59,7 persen pengaruh media ular dan kijang terhadap motivasi belajar siswa berasal dari media ular dan kijang, sedangkan 40,3 persen berasal dari sumber lain. Jadi, jika mencari pendekatan baru untuk menarik perhatian siswa dan menumbuhkan pemahaman mereka dalam pelajaran kewarganegaraan, cobalah memakai Ular Tangga.
