Abstract

This study investigates the application of a combined approach utilizing Neural Matrix Factorization (NeuralMF++) and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to enhance personalization in e-learning recommendation systems. The primary objective is to address significant challenges commonly encountered in recommendation systems, such as data sparsity and the cold start problem, where new users or items need prior interaction history. NeuralMF++ leverages neural networks in matrix factorization to capture complex non-linear interactions between users and content. GNNs model intricate relationships between users and items within a graph structure. Experimental results demonstrate a substantial improvement in recommendation accuracy, measured by metrics such as Hit Ratio (HR) and Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain (NDCG). Additionally, the proposed model exhibits greater efficiency in training time than traditional methods, achieving this without compromising recommendation quality. User feedback from several universities involved in this research indicates high satisfaction with the recommendations provided, suggesting that the model effectively adapts recommendations to align with evolving user preferences. Thus, this study asserts that integrating NeuralMF++ and GNNs presents significant potential for broad application in e-learning platforms, offering substantial benefits in personalization and system efficiency

Abstract

Abstract

This training aims to improve students' skills through the utilization of manalagi mango pulp as a basic ingredient for making healthy dumplings to become a superior product for students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung. The activity was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung with a participatory approach. The methods used included observation, implementation in the form of socialization and training, and evaluation in the form of pretests and posttests. Students were taught how to process mango manalagi into healthy dumpling filling that is nutritious and adds economic value. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' skills in the dumpling production process as well as knowledge about dumpling nutrition. Student response was very positive, with 85% of participants showing interest in improving their understanding of processing fruit pulp into nutritious and healthy dumplings.

Abstract

So far, the increase in coffee bean utilization is not directly proportional to itsenvironmental impact. The benefits of coffee beans for health should align with how coffeewaste is also valuable in strengthening the community's economy. Educational steps areneeded for coffee cafes as waste producers. As university personnel, we should mediate thisgap. Community service activities are carried out at QQ café as part of a coffee wasteprogram to be used by farmer groups (POKTAN) Mrengkel I, Pabedilan District, CirebonRegency. This community service activity aims to educate the public how coffee wasteproduced routinely by QQ café as much as 4-5 kg in a week, can be absorbed by theMrengkel I group, Pabedilan District, Cirebon Regency as a party who needs coffee wasteas an alternative to organic fertilizer. Service activities are carried out for four months. Theresults showed that waste management started with sorting techniques on the part of coffeewaste producers for four months, continued at the fermentation step of waste that wassuccessfully collected in a particular vessel, and then ended with waste being handed overto the farming community along with a book on the use of coffee grounds to be used as analternative to organic fertilizer at least succeeded in educating and mediating one party tothe other. That way, the community service activities that we carry out are a form ofdissemination of our research results in educating the public while developing science andtechnology.

Abstract

Learning is developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes interactively. Learning while playing by children can provide opportunities to explore, practice, and get a variety of concepts. Learning while playing is fun and can attract and motivate children to achieve learning goals optimally. Learning activities while playing are carried out with a feeling of pleasure, without coercion, but have a method that is expected to create results that promote good development for children. Play activities are one of the stimulus factors in children's intelligence

Abstract

The preliminary study data shows that the argumentation ability in SMA 8 Kota Cirebon is relatively low, this shows that the argumentation ability of students has not been stimulated properly. The Project Based Learning model is here to train students' argumentation ability. Using an experimental method with Quasi Experimental Design. The sample of this study was the control and experimental classes. The assessment technique was in the form of observation sheets and t-tests. The results of the study showed that the project based learning model can train argumentation ability through its syntax, t-test and n-gain test there were significant values with t-test results of 0.05 <0.01 while in the n-gain test with a result of 67.25% with a fairly effective category, so that argumentation ability is at level 3. The conclusion that can be drawn from the application of this project based learning model can train argumentation ability.
