The purpose of this research is knowing the tensile strength and bending strength of polyester reinforced waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) fiber composites with alkali treatment and variations in fiber orientation so we get the proper utilization of its strength properties. This composite material may be can replace fiberglass are expensive as reinforcement material in the process of making the ship’s hull.The method is performed by conducting alkalizationhibiscus fiber skin with 5% NaOH solution for 2 hours. In the manufacture of test specimensmade of composite test variations using four layers of fibers and fiber orientation angle is0o/45o/-45o/0o ; 45o/0o/0o/-45o ; 45o/0o/-45o/0o. Test object is made by hand lay-up and with anemphasis manually using a mold and press. Matrices are used polyester resin 157 BTQN and catalyst type MEKPO a concentration of 1%. Photo of specimen fracture was observed with amacro image observation. Mechanical properties are obtained from tensile tests and bending tests.The results showed that tensile strength and bending strength influence by alkali treatmentof NaOH 5%. Polyester reinforced waru fiber composite specimens with 5% NaOH treatment for2 hours is the same strength of attraction between the fiber direction angle of 0o/45o/-45o/0o is66.14 N/mm2; 45o/0o/0o/-45o is 66 ,46 N/mm2; and 45o/0o/-45o/0o is 66.78 N/mm2. Tensilestrength without alkali treatment is 49.13 N/mm2 on the fiber orientation direction 0o/45o/-45o/0o. The maximum bending strength obtained is 179.78 N/mm2 on the fiber orientation angle 0o/45o/-45o/0o with 5% NaOH alkali treatment. Bending strength of the lowest found in thedirection of fiber orientation angle 45o/0o/0o/-45o without alkali treatment is 134.43 N/mm2.Keywords: composite, waru fiber, alkalization, fiber direction

Latar belakang permasalahan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah pentingnya pemberdayaan guru dalam pendidikan Kesehatan Mental (Kesmen) di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Harapan Kita, Desa Pasir Durung. Seringnya pemadaman listrik yang tidak stabil mengakibatkan kesulitan akses internet sehingga informasi mengenai kesehatan mental sulit diperoleh oleh para guru PAUD. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Pengmas) melalui pelatihan Kesmen bagi guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dalam menangani masalah Kesmen yang tujuan ahhirnya guru menjadi sehat dan terampil. Ahinya tercipta lingkungan belajar dalam mendukung perkembangan emosional dan psikologis guru dan anak. Metode penelitian adalah melaksanakan pelatihan Kesmen dengan Lokus di PAUD Harapan Kita. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan Pengmas bertujuan memperkuat Kesmen dalam pencegahan dan pengembangan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil membentuk kelompok guru yang peduli terhadap kesehatan mental. Para guru menjadi lebih aktif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan mental di PAUD Harapan Kita. Selain, berhasil melaksanakan penyuluhan pendidikan kepada orang tua dan Masyarakat Masyarakat sekitar, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. The background to the Community Service problem is the importance of empowering teachers in Mental Health education (Kesmen) in Harapan Kita Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Pasir Durung Village. Frequent unstable power outages result in difficulty accessing the internet, making it difficult for PAUD teachers to obtain information about mental health. The aim of Community Service (Penmas) through Mensmen training for teachers is to increase competence in dealing with Mensmen's problems, the ultimate goal of which is to make teachers healthy and skilled. Ultimately, a learning environment is created to support the emotional and psychological development of teachers and children. The research method is to carry out Ministry of Health training with a Locus at PAUD Harapan Kita. Training in Community Service activities aims to strengthen Kesmen in prevention and learning development. The research results show that the training was successful in forming a group of teachers who care about mental health. Teachers have become more active in raising awareness of the importance of mental health at PAUD Harapan Kita. Apart from that, we have successfully carried out educational outreach to parents and the surrounding community, both individually and in groups.

Data security on a network infrastructure is a very sensitive and vulnerable matter. One alternative to overcome this is to use IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) technology where the technology is a development of IDS (Intrusion Detection System) which uses Snort. In this study, IPS technology is applied using the Untangle Firewall where the Intrusion Prevention feature is available on the platform with the intention of testing the feature on the Untangle Firewall. Testing was carried out using DoS (Denial Of Service) and SSH Brute Force attacks where the Intrusion Prevention feature on the Untangle Firewall can recognize both attacks and can block the attacks using manually added rules.

Pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung menjadi briket telah terbukti menjadi metode yang layak untuk memanfaatkan energi alternatif. Terbatasnya pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung oleh masyarakat dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman, sehingga minim kepedulian terhadap pengelolaan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung. Tujuannya adalah untuk memanfaatkan ketersediaan bonggol jagung secara maksimal agar lebih diminati masyarakat, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber energi alternatif. Metode pada tahap pelaksanaan pemanfaatan limbah ini berupa pendampingan dan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada karang taruna setempat untuk membuat briket dari bonggol jagung yang tidak termanfaatkan sebelumnya di Desa Cipeundeuy. Di sisi lain aktivitas ini dapat menunjang penerapan inovasi dalam energi terbarukan yang berguna secara langsung kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan ekonomi dan pemanfaatan limbah yang ada. Berdasarkan pelatihan yang dilakukan di Desa Cipeundeuy melalui pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung menjadi briket sebagai upaya peningkatan ekonomi kreatif Desa Cipeundeuy, bertambahnya kesadaran warga dalam mengelola potensi desa, bertambahnya pengetahuan, dan keterampilan warga. Dalam hal ini terkait dengan pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung dapat mengurangi biaya rumah tangga untuk pembelian bahan bakar minyak/gas dikarenakan briket merupakan bahan bakar alternatif yang dapat diperbaharui dari limbah dengan jumlah yang banyak dan biaya yang terjangkau

Background. Entrepreneurs utilize abundant raw materials by making coconut husk, which is the main ingredient in making coconut husk brooms. However, many still use conventional methods to process it, such as pounding it until it becomes fiber. Aim. To be carried out effectively, it is deemed necessary to have technological assistance, such as the Coconut Husk Shredding Machine. Methods. However, to ensure that the aid has improved the effectiveness of the coconut husk shredding process, it is necessary to analyze and compare the time motion study between the two methods. By comparing the Standard Time between the two methods, Result. We can determine the extent of the difference, allowing us to quickly estimate the amount of product produced from coconut husk shredding within a specific time frame or how long it takes to process the available amount of coconut husk. Conclusion. The research and time motion study analysis results in an activity of shredding coconut husks using conventional methods and machines, which aligns with the hypothesis that shredding coconut husks using machines is 2.91 minutes faster than traditional methods. Implication. This work time measurement recommendation can be used as a standard time measurement in shredding coconut husks using conventional and machine methods.

Wabah Virus COVID-19 hingga saat ini masih belum bisa teratasi dengan baik, termasuk Indonesia, sampai saat kasus Positif Covid-19 terus mengalami peningkatan cukup signifikan perharinya. Salah satu upaya mencegah penularan Covid-19 adalah selalu memakai hand sanitizer. Desa Karangwangi Depok, Kabupaten Cirebon kaya akan tanaman daun sirih yang belum dioptimalkan pemanfaatannya, sehingga tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi pembuatan hand sanitizer berbahan dasar ekstrak daun sirih (Piper betle Linn) pada warga Desa Karangwangi. Komponen utama ekstrak daun sirih adalah senyawa fenol yang mempunyai sifat antimikroba dan antijamur kuat dan efektif menghambat pertumbuhan beberapa jenis bakteri. Namun karena daun sirih mudah teroksidasi yang ditandai dengan perubahan warna air ekstraknya sehingga dapat diatasi dengan menambahkan jeruk nipis sebagai anti oksidan. Dari hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan bahwa warga Desa Karangwangi merasakan penggunaan dan sosialisasi handsanitizer dari ekstrak daun sirih sangat bermanfaat. Hasil kuetionernya memuaskan terlihat prosentase nilai diatas 60 %.

Produk bolu kijing hasil produksi UMKM Yayang merupakan produk yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat lokal. Namun, terdapat beberapa permasalah yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM Yayang, diantaranya yaitu kemasan produk yang masih sederhana dan masih belum menampilkan tabel informasi nilai gizi (ING) pada kemasannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pendampingan pada pelaku UMKM Yayang dalam pembuatan informasi nilai gizi untuk label kemasannya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan utama yaitu observasi, kegiatan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pembuatan ING dilakukan berdasarkan data analisis kandungan zat gizi produk dari hasil laboratorium yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya oleh UMKM Yayang. Selanjutnya, tim bersama dengan pelaku UMKM melakukan perhitungan dan penyusunan data kandungan gizi ke dalam format ING yang telah diberlakukan oleh BPOM. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan respon yang positif dari pelaku UMKM terkait pentingnya penggunaan tabel ING dalam label kemasan produk pangan. Pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh tim kepada pelaku UMKM Yayang berhasil membuat tabel ING yang dapat disajikan pada kemasan produk bolu kijing. ING dari produk bolu kijing selanjutnya dituangkan ke dalam desain kemasan yang telah dibuat. Luaran utama dari kegiatan ini adalah dihasilkannya desain kemasan produk bolu kijing yang telah memiliki ING didalamnya. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas kemasan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan jangkauan pemasaran produk bolu kijing UMKM Yayang.

Making combined materials that consist of unsaturated polyester and coconut fiber is the target of this research. The samples were tested by tensile and hardness tests before and after warm-up, and obtained by the result was that the trend value of hardness of unsaturated polyester+coconut fiber experienced proportional degradation with the addition of the composition of coconut fiber. The composition of 3% coconut fiber+97% unsaturated polyester has the highest hardness value, reaching 46,7 kg/mm2, and downhill becomes 43,1 kgf/mm2 moment heated at a temperature of 500C for 1 hour. Analog to the tensile test, 3% coconut fiber + 97% unsaturated polyester composition has the highest ultimate tensile strength and yield point. Adding fiber can boost the elasticity modulus, but the warm-up treatment causes the expansion of coconut fiber. The result is that the value of the tensile and hardness of the polyblend will go downhill.

This community service activity aims to process Manalagi mango flesh into healthy and economically valuable snacks, which are one of the local wisdom fruits typical of Cirebon. This community service activity begins with observation, socialization, training, and evaluation so that SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung students can understand how to process mango flesh, which is abundant and valuable in the school garden. The results of this community service are crackers that have the distinctive taste and aroma of Manalagi mango and have nutrition and economic value. This activity can also invite SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung students to be more creative and innovative in processing local wisdom fruits, which are abundant in the school garden, into healthy snacks.

This training aims to improve students' skills through the utilization of manalagi mango pulp as a basic ingredient for making healthy dumplings to become a superior product for students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung. The activity was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung with a participatory approach. The methods used included observation, implementation in the form of socialization and training, and evaluation in the form of pretests and posttests. Students were taught how to process mango manalagi into healthy dumpling filling that is nutritious and adds economic value. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' skills in the dumpling production process as well as knowledge about dumpling nutrition. Student response was very positive, with 85% of participants showing interest in improving their understanding of processing fruit pulp into nutritious and healthy dumplings.
