Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the synergy of stakeholders in waste management in Metro Cities. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that: (1) waste management in metro city involves five elements, namely: government, civil society, business actors, academics and the media. Cooperation between stakeholders has been going well, but not all stakeholders involved in waste management carry out their roles optimally; (2) communication and coordination is still lacking, as indicated by several complaints from the public; (3) lack of public awareness of waste management in Metro City. Research recommendation: in increasing synergy, it is necessary to evaluate the cooperation between stakeholders. It is hoped that DLH can improve communication and coordination of waste management. Increase waste management activities and increase activities through online media which are expected to increase public awareness of the importance of managing waste.

Abstract

Exam browsers are an important part of the world of education in the current era of technological development. This requires changes and developments in the world of learning, including evaluation in education. Therefore, this research aims to determine the purpose, positive and negative impacts of using the exam browser at SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Banyak Lampung. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results show that: the use of exam browsers in the world of education is very impactful and beneficial in the implementation of exams, because the implementation of exam browsers is able to minimize cheating during exams. Then using the exam browser is considered useful, saving costs and time. Researchers advise schools to prepare carefully regarding the implementation of the exam browser so that if there are technical problems they can implement alternative policies during the exam.

Abstract

Pembangunan kota berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu agenda global yang tercermin dalam Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya pada tujuan ke-11. Kota Metro sebagai salah satu kota kecil di Indonesia menunjukkan dinamika urbanisasi yang memerlukan evaluasi terhadap prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana Kota Metro mengadopsi prinsip kota berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan indikator dari UN-Habitat yang mencakup dimensi sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan, dan kelembagaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi, observasi lapangan, dan telaah literatur ilmiah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Kota Metro telah memiliki perencanaan tata ruang yang mempertimbangkan zonasi hijau dan perlindungan lahan pertanian, masih terjadi gejala urban sprawl di kawasan pinggiran. Sistem transportasi publik belum optimal, namun terdapat upaya perbaikan melalui pengembangan jalur sepeda dan trotoar. Pemanfaatan energi terbarukan dan pengelolaan sampah menunjukkan kemajuan awal, tetapi partisipasi masyarakat dan dukungan kebijakan masih perlu ditingkatkan. Dalam aspek sosial, partisipasi warga telah difasilitasi melalui Musrenbang, namun keterlibatan kelompok rentan masih minim.

Abstract

Religion is one of the important aspects of human life that can affect a person, be it the way they think, act, and interact with the surrounding world. Religious education begins with the education obtained in a family. Therefore, this research aims to see how a family, which is the smallest unit in society, provides religious education for children. One of the novelties of this research is that the author explores the research findings more broadly and deeply, and gives emphasis to the socialisation process in the family. This research employed the literature study research method. This method was chosen. It can answer the questions posed more comprehensively because it refers to several scientific quantities that have been published previously. The theory used to analyse the findings is Functional Structural Theory. This theory was chosen because it is relevant to explain how a structure carries out its functions and roles, to be able to achieve a goal. The results showed that a family has a big responsibility in instilling religious values in a child. This responsibility is carried out in the form of socialisation and interaction between family members. How the family transforms religious values for each child is one of the fundamental things that will affect a child's religious understanding. The family, as the smallest structure in society, has a great function and role in shaping a child's character, including the cultivation of religious values.
