ABSTRAK Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) merupakan salah satu masalah Kesehatan yang dihadapi oleh seluruh negara di dunia. Unmet need KB lama didefinisikan sebagai presentasi wanita yang sudah menikah tetapi tidak menginginkan anak lagi atau ingin menjarangkan kelahiran berikutnya, namun tidak menggunakan cara atau alat kontrasepsi Berdasarkan laporan data program KIA UPTD Puskesmas Bantar didapatkan jumlah kasus kematian Ibu per tahun 2023 sebanyak 8 Orang, jumlah Ibu hamil dengan resiko tinggi sebanyak 126 orang dan presentase Peserta KB Aktif Menurut alat/metode kontrasepsi sebanyak 27,8% peserta, hal ini menunjukan masih banyaknya yang berperilaku unmet need KB. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk menurunkan kejadian unmet need melalui peningkatan cakupan pelayanan kontrasepsi KB aktif. Metode yang digunakan berupa edukasi kesehatan, TIM pengmas menyampaikan maksud dan tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian kuesioner pre test kepada kader, pemberian materi, sesi tanya jawab dan terakhir adalah pemberian kuesioner post test. Terdapat perubahan pengetahuan responden sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya sosialisasi dan pembekalan tengang MALIKA. Sosialisasi dan edukasi memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kebijakan, program, dan kegiatan pengetahuan dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan tentang pentingnya berKB. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan Masyarakat menyadari tentang pentingnya KB, kader diharapkan bisa memberikan edukasi pada Masyarakat khususnya pada Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) sehingga angka pasangan yang berperilaku unmet need dan Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) menurun.
