Abstract

Based on the convention on children's rights, there are four categories of children's rights to realize the principle of the best interest of the child, namely the right to survival, the right to protection, the right to grow and develop, and the right to participate in expressing opinions in all matters affecting children. The right to survival of children requires the state to ensure their survival, both with a conducive environment, decent living facilities and infrastructure to access to basic needs. The principle of the best interest of the child requires child protection providers to look at and make decisions regarding the future of the child based on the child's point of view not the point of view of adults so as to reach and ensure the fulfillment of children's rights.

Abstract

Prison overcapacity is one of the crucial legal issues at this time, in this case the overcapacity has reached 204%. The large number of narcotic convicts is one of the causes of prison overcapacity, related to this, narcotics convicts reach 50% of the total inmates in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the need for drug users, namely abusers and drug addicts to be handled with non-penal efforts and decriminalization of drug abusers in order to reduce the level of overcapacity of prisons in Indonesia. The research method used is normative legal research that prioritizes secondary data. The results of the study confirm that addicts and abusers are victims who are entitled to protection so as not to become victims of criminal acts and have the right to obtain guarantees or rehabilitation for the losses they have received. So that non-penal efforts are needed to protect the rights of victims and decriminalization needs to be done as part of criminal politics to bring criminal law to a better direction, in this case upholding the rights of victims and being a solution to the problem of overcapacity in prisons in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract

This paper discusses the use of plastic bottle waste as a hydroponic planting medium with a wick system in South Korleko Village. The wick hydroponic system is a simple method that does not require a pump or electricity, making it more energy-efficient and easy to apply. This research aims to introduce hydroponic farming methods with low cost and easy-to-find materials, as well as increase public understanding of hydroponic plant cultivation. The methods used include socialization, training, and hands-on practice in making hydroponic wicks using used plastic bottles and flannel as nutrient absorption axes. Results showed that this system was effective for growing lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.), with good growth in about six weeks. By using AB mix nutrient solution, plants obtain enough nutrients to support their growth. The implementation of this system is expected to help the community in increasing vegetable production, reducing plastic waste, and providing a more efficient alternative to farming.

Abstract

The implementation of the Village Community Empowerment (PMD) Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one of the programs that is one of the manifestations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. KKN PMD is one of the educational programs that implements student knowledge outside the campus. The creative economy is a theme that is one of the sectors focusing on creativity and knowledge as the main source of added value in obtaining added value for a product. South Korleko is one of the villages located in Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok Regency. The Natural Resources (SDA) owned by South Korleko Village are quite abundant. One of them is that there are moringa gardens or trees that have not been used optimally. One of them is the use of moringa leaves as a healthy food. A good processing process can increase the value of immunity for health, so that it can become a product with a high selling value. The process of making moringa leaves into flour has been socialized and practiced to become healthy food
