Abstract

This PKM/Service program aims to improve the packaging and promotion of "Debog Banana Duwet Polinema Crispy Chips" in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. The residents of Duwet Village face challenges in effectively packaging and promoting their product, which currently lacks adequate branding and labels. To address these issues, this community service initiative aims to provide guidance and support in improving the packaging of the chips, as well as enhancing their promotional activities. Simple packaging equipment will also be provided to streamline the packaging process. The program's implementation will begin with partner coordination and conclude with a comprehensive evaluation. The outcomes of the training and mentoring activities reveal several key findings: Partners have limited knowledge about product quality improvement, affecting the product's market recognition. Current packaging methods used by partners are basic, consisting of plastic clips without product labels, limiting their market reach to the local community. "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" products, created by partners, lack attractive branding and labels. To ensure the sustainability of "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" products produced by our partners, the following recommendations are made: Conduct training sessions focused on enhancing product quality, fostering creativity, and innovation among "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" producers. Provide support in marketing strategies to address partners' limited knowledge in this area. Offer assistance in obtaining government-issued certifications, such as P-IRT licenses and food safety certifications, to ensure product quality and safety standards for "Kribog's DuPo Crispy."

Abstract

Abstrak Pemilik UMKM sering kali menghadapi beragam tantangan dalam menjalankan usahanya. Beberapa di antaranya adalah keterbatasan dalam aspek keuangan dan manajerial, yang menyebabkan mereka kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang memadai dan memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek. Selain itu, kurangnya kemampuan dalam memperkirakan ketersediaan kas untuk kebutuhan operasional sering menjadi kendala yang signifikan. Hambatan-hambatan ini dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha dan menurunkan daya saing UMKM di pasar. Salah satu hambatan utama yang dihadapi oleh pemilik UMKM adalah minimnya kemampuan dalam hal keuangan dan manajerial. Keterbatasan ini membuat UMKM kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang cukup serta memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek mereka. Akibatnya, banyak UMKM yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional dan kestabilan finansial, terutama dalam menghadapi tuntutan bisnis sehari-hari. UMKM juga mengalami kesulitan untuk memperkirakan ketersediaan kas dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan operasional dan kewajiban jangka pendek. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan kas bagi UMKM Asri Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi adalah ceramah dan dialog aktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan UMKM Asri Kota Malang mengenai manajemen kas. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelaksanaan pre-test di awal kegiatan, dengan nilai rata-rata 78,67, dan post-test di akhir kegiatan, yang menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 89,36, memberikan bukti adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 10%. Namun, kegiatan sosialisasi ini sebaiknya dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan pendampingan kepada UMKM tersebut agar pengelolaan kas yang digunakan semakin baik dan efektif. Kata kunci: onthok yuyu; tepung ketan; Asri UMKM; jangka pendek; manajerial. Abstract Owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face various challenges in running their businesses. Some of these include limitations in financial and managerial aspects, which make it difficult for them to prepare adequate working capital and meet short-term obligations. Additionally, the lack of ability to estimate cash availability for operational needs often becomes a significant obstacle. These barriers can hinder business growth and reduce the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market. One of the main challenges faced by MSME owners is the limited financial and managerial skills. These limitations make it difficult for MSMEs to prepare sufficient working capital and meet their short-term obligations. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to maintain smooth operations and financial stability, especially when dealing with the daily demands of business. They also face difficulties in estimating cash availability to meet operational needs and short-term obligations. This community service activity was conducted to enhance knowledge about cash management for "Asri" MSME in Malang City. The method used in the outreach was a combination of lectures and active dialogue. The results of this activity showed an increase in the knowledge of "Asri" MSME regarding cash management. The method involved conducting a pre-test at the beginning of the activity, with an average score of 78.67, and a post-test at the end, showing an increase to an average score of 89.36, demonstrating a knowledge improvement of 10%. Abstract

Abstrak Ecoprint merupakan teknik pewarnaan kain yang memanfaatkan bahan alami seperti daun, bunga, dan ranting untuk menciptakan pola unik pada kain, yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Meskipun teknik ini memiliki keunggulan dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan, proses pemanasan manual yang digunakan untuk mengunci warna sering kali tidak konsisten dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemanasan terkontrol berbasis minimum sistem untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas hasil ecoprint. Sistem ini memungkinkan pengaturan suhu pada 90°C dan durasi pemanasan secara otomatis, yang memastikan suhu tetap stabil dan durasi sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemanasan terkontrol menghasilkan motif yang lebih konsisten, warna yang lebih tajam, dan mengurangi risiko kerusakan kain dibandingkan metode pemanasan manual. Selain itu, sistem ini juga mampu menghemat energi hingga 20% dan menurunkan biaya operasional. Implementasi teknologi ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap produktivitas UMKM, meningkatkan kualitas produk, serta memperluas potensi pasar produk ecoprint. Dengan demikian, teknologi pemanasan terkontrol ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan industri kreatif yang berbasis pada kearifan lokal dan ramah lingkungan. Kata kunci: ecoprint; pemanasan terkontrol; pewarnaan alami; efisiensi energi; UMKM. Abstract Ecoprint is a fabric dyeing technique that utilizes natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and twigs to create unique patterns on fabric, promoting environmental sustainability. While this technique offers ecological benefits, the manual heating process used to fix the colors is often inconsistent and time-consuming. This research aims to develop a controlled heating system based on a minimum system to improve the efficiency and quality of ecoprint production. The system allows for precise temperature control at 90°C and automatic heating duration, ensuring stable temperatures and optimized time settings. The trial results indicate that the controlled heating system produces more consistent patterns, sharper colors, and reduces the risk of fabric damage compared to manual heating methods. Additionally, the system is capable of saving up to 20% in energy consumption and lowering operational costs. The implementation of this technology has a positive impact on the productivity of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), enhances product quality, and expands the market potential for ecoprint products. Therefore, this controlled heating technology not only improves production efficiency but also supports the sustainability of creative industries based on local wisdom and environmentally friendly practices. Keywords: ecoprint; controlled heating; natural dyeing; energy efficiency; SMEs.
