Abstract

Persepuluhan merupakan suatu dilema di kalangan hidup orang percaya dan Gereja di masa kini, dimana ada ketidakseragaman pemahaman dalam pelaksanaanya di setiap jemaat dan Gereja di masa kini, sebab sangat berbeda dengan praktik persepuluhan dalam Perjanjian Lama yang sudah menjadi aturan dan kewajiban bagi umat Allah yakni Israel yang sangat jelas pelaksanaannya dan tujuan yang terarah. Di era Gereja masa kini ada kesimpangsiuran pemahaman dalam praktek persepuluhan seolah-olah telah ikut digenapi oleh Yesus Kristus sehingga orang percaya tidak ingin melakukan lagi pesepuluhan ini dalam gereja. Maka dengan adanya kesimpangsiuran ini, akan memberikan jawaban dan pemahaman yang benar melalui tulisan ini, bahwa persembahan persepuluhan dari Penjanjian Lama tidak ada pembatalan, melainkan sebuat standar kebenaran dalam dalam Gereja untuk memuliakan dan menghormati Tuhan dari segala yang kita miliki. Kemudian memberikan standar kehidupan kerohanian dan peningkatan iman jemaat melalui persepuluhan. Sebab nilai-nilai kerohanian jemaat terlihat dari pemberian yang menunjukkan ketaatan kepada Tuhan dalam Gereja artinya perspuluhan akan di pergunakan dalam memperluas pelayanan Tuhan di bumi dan kegiatan pelayanan jemaat. Hubungan persepuluhanan dengan nilai kerohanian jemaat adalah wujud kesadaran dan ketekunan orang percaya kepada Tuhan.

Abstract

A good teacher should know why they teach and what their teaching goals are. One's success in teaching depends on how well they understand and embrace the objectives of their teaching.  The study aims to see what was the purpose of Jesus in conveying His purpose through teaching.  The research design used is descriptive and qualitative. The researcher's reflection found from the sources is the principles of Jesus' purpose in teaching. The results of the study found ten principles of Jesus' purpose in teaching, namely: bringing people to repentance to God, bringing people to have a harmonious relationship with others, increasing true knowledge and understanding, instilling firm belief, fostering good character, taking action, and equipping to serve.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of learning discipline in relation to their achievement in Civics lessons at level X SMA Negeri 14 Medan. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 14 Medan which is located on Jalan Siswa Timur Ujung, Gang Darmo, Medan Denai District, Medan City. The type of research carried out by the author is qualitative research which is correlational in nature and applies quantitative descriptive research methods. This quantitative study includes two variables, namely x which describes the level of discipline and y which shows student learning outcomes. The population of this study includes all class In this research, the tools used in data collection include questionnaires, observation and documentation. In this research, the data applied uses quantitative statistical methods by calculating product moment. Research findings indicate that discipline has a minimal impact, namely 24.3%, on the learning achievement of class X students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan. This can be proven by calculating the correlation coefficient between variable x and variable y, which produces a calculated r value of 0.493. If this value is compared with the rtable value at a significance level of 5% then n=40, then rcount is obtained which is the specified criterion. If the rcount value is greater than rtable (rcount > rtable) or 0.493 > 0.312, then the conclusion will be drawn that it can have a significant influence between disciplines and the learning outcomes of level X students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan.

Abstract

The potential for the diversity of students at school to be developed to become individuals who have firm belief and devotion to God Almighty by displaying tolerant behavior. However, this tends not to be in accordance with issues in the learning process at school. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing the value of diversity on the formation of students' tolerant behavior at Gajah Mada Private Middle School, Medan. The author applies quantitative research methods using a correlational approach. Applying descriptive quantitative research methods. Quantitative research involves two variables, namely x (implementation of diversity values) and y (student tolerance behavior). Data analysis in this research uses quantitative statistical methods through product moment calculations. The findings from the research stated that there was a 22.1% influence of the implementation of diversity values ​​on the formation of students' tolerant behavior at Gajah Mada Private Middle School, Medan. This is proven from the analysis of the correlation coefficient between variable x and variable y, obtaining a calculated r value of 0.470. If this value is compared with the rtable value at a significance level of 5% and n=31, therefore, rcount has a value in accordance with the provisions, if the profit is higher than rtable (rcount>rtable) or 0.470>0.355 so it can be concluded that there is The significant influence of the value of implementing diversity on the formation of students' tolerant behavior at Gajah Mada Private Middle School, Medan.

Abstract

The competence of a teacher is a combination of personal, scientific, technological, social, and religious competencies which in general are the competencies of a teacher which includes material management, student understanding, pedagogic learning, personal development, and professional development. Teacher competence is a factor that can affect the quality of learning output. This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher personality competence on the moral attitudes of grade XI students. This type of research uses correlational research using quantitative descriptive research methods so that data analysis is carried out using statistical techniques to test hypotheses. Data collection using questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the moral attitude of grade XI students has an impact of 15.21% on the teacher's personality competence. This is evidenced by rcount more than rtable or 0.39 more than 0.304 so that the correlation coefficient of the X and Y variables is significant, where rtable n = 42 with an error rate of 50.304. The results of the t test study gave a t value of 2.441 and a t table of 2.021 at a significance level of 5 degrees of freedom (dk) = n-2 (42 -2 = 40), namely .H. t-count is more than t-table (2,441 more than 2,021). This shows that the alternative hypothesis can be accepted, namely the teacher's personality competence influences the moral attitude of grade XI students.

Abstract

Jesus established the church in whom there is the hope of cross-growth. Church growth involves bringing people to Jesus who do not have a personal relationship with God. Church growth has to do with bringing souls to Jesus. So by its nature church growth includes the study of expansion, planting and multiplication, function and health of the church. There are generally two views on who is responsible for and expands church growth. One side of the responsibility is in the hands of the servants of God but on the other hand it is the responsibility of the people of God together. These two opinions need a correct understanding of the theology of church growth. So, whose responsibility is church growth? Is it only the servants of God, or does the entire church community also participate? Based on the formulation of the problem, the research title emerged, namely Theology of Church Growth. In this research, only the philosophy of church growth itself is discussed. The purpose of the research is to look at the principles of church growth and its philosophy. The object of research is church growth and the principles of church growth theologically. The research method is done by review literature that has existed before. The results of the research are: the basis of church growth is the Bible, there are two types of church growth in quality and quantity. The factors of church growth are caused by, having a burden in service, the work of the Holy Spirit, praying people who obey God in evangelism. This means that church growth itself is the work of the triune God. A growing church is God's desire, therefore people are responsible for the growth of the church.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the professional competence of PPKn teachers in developing students' civic skills, especially communication skills at UPT SMP N 24 Medan. Researchers found several problems in developing students' civic skills, namely problems regarding communication in participation skills, namely, the low level of student activeness in class discussions, many students tend to be passive, only listening without daring to express opinions, ask or answer questions from teachers and students are not interested in joining organizations at school. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The type of research that researchers use is descriptive qualitative with primary and secondary data types. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that teachers apply active learning methods such as debates, discussions, simulations and projects to train critical thinking, courage in speaking and expressing opinions. Teachers also understand student characteristics through initial assessments and observations in order to adjust learning strategies. The use of the independent curriculum provides space for students to be more active and expressive, although still encountered several challenges or obstacles such as shyness, lack of confidence, and limited time. To overcome these challenges, teachers apply several strategies such as giving rewards, cooperative learning, ice breaking, interactive media and creating an inclusive environment. The results of this study demonstrate that teacher professional competence plays a crucial role in improving communication skills as part of strengthening students' civic skills in Civics (PPKn) learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru PPKn dalam mengembangkan civic skill siswa khususnya keterampilan komunikasi di sekolah UPT SMP N 24 Medan. Peneliti menemukan beberapa masalah dalam pengembangan civic skill siswa yaitu masalah mengenai komunikasi dalam keterampilan partisipasi yaitu, rendahnya tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi kelas, banyak siswa cenderung pasif hanya mendengar tanpa berani mengemukakan pendapat, bertanya atau menjawab pertanyaan dari guru dan siswa tidak tertarik mengikuti organisasi yang ada di sekolah. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif  dengan jenis data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan metode pembelajaran aktif seperti debat, diskusi, simulasi dan proyek untuk melatih berpikir kritis, keberanian dalam berbicara dan menyampaikan pendapat. Guru juga memahami karakteristik siswa melalui assemen awal dan observasi guna untuk menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran. pemanfaatan kurikulum merdeka memberi ruang bagi siswa untuk lebih aktif dan ekspresif, meskipun masih ditemui beberapa tantangan atau kendala yaitu adanya rasa malu, kurang percaya diri, dan keterbatasan waktu. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, guru menerapkan beberapa strategi seperti pemberian reward, pembelajaran kooperatif, ice breaking, media interaktif dan menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi sebagai bagian dari penguatan civic skill siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how teachers strategize to deal with the transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum in learning at UPT SMP Negeri 24. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and document study. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research show that in the process of adapting from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum at UPT SMP Negeri 24 Medan, teachers faced several obstacles and challenges. To overcome these problems, teachers implemented various relevant strategies. These strategies include professional training and development for teachers carried out through learning community training to improve teacher quality, socialization of filling out teacher performance features on the Merdeka Mengajar platform, dissemination of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, and many other types of training provided either by the Department of Education or by the school itself. The second strategy is collaboration and involvement of the school community aimed at building cooperation among teachers so they can help each other in facing these changes, which is carried out through MGMP (Subject Teacher Working Group) activities. Another strategy is the use of educational technology to support the changes. By using various digital tools and platforms, teachers can access more diverse and up-to-date learning resources, which can be adjusted to meet the needs of the new curriculum. In addition, there are also curriculum change management strategies used by teachers to address curricular changes and support adaptation, including the unfreezing stage, the change stage, and the refreezing stage. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi guru menghadapi perubahan kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran di UPT SMP Negeri 24. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Kemudian data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ternyata dalam proses adaptasi perubahan kurikulum 2013 menjadi Kurikulum Merdeka di UPT SMP Negeri 24 Medan, guru mengalami beberapa hambatan dan tantangan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, guru menjalankan berbagai strategi relevan. Adapun strategi tersebut adalah strategi pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional guru yang dijalalankan melalui Pelatihan komunitas belajar dalam meningkatkan mutu guru, sosialisasi pengisian fitur kinerja guru pada platform Merdeka mengajar, pengimbasan implementasi kurikulum Merdeka mengajar dan banyak jenis pelatihan lainnya yang diberikan baik itu oleh dinas Pendidikan atau dari sekolah sendiri. Strategi kedua yaitu kolaborasi dan keterlibatan komunitas sekolah dengan tujuan membangun kerjasama antar guru agar mampu untuk saling membantu dalam menghadapi perubahan yang dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan MGMP. Strategi lainnya yaitu penggunaan teknologi Pendidikan untuk mendukung perubahan. Dengan menggunakan berbagai alat dan platform digital guru dapat mengakses sumber belajar yang lebih beragam dan terkini, yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kurikulum yang baru. Disamping itu terdapat juga strategi manajemen perubahan kurikulum yang digunakan guru untuk menghadapi perubahan kurikulum serta mendukung adaptasi perubahan diantaranya tahap unfreezing (mencairkan), tahap change (perubahan), serta tahap refreezing (membekukan Kembali).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ Civic Responsibility through Pancasila Education learning at SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The research focuses on two main aspects: private character, which reflects students’ responsibility within the classroom, and public character, which is manifested through students’ behavior in the school environment. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, involving one Pancasila Education teacher and students of class XI-3. The data were analyzed using three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the teacher implemented six main strategies, including learning models, learning methods, learning media, learning approaches, assessment techniques, and teacher role modeling. These strategies effectively contributed to the development of students’ private character—such as discipline, responsibility, and rule compliance—and public character, reflected in students’ active participation, social awareness, and cooperation. However, the learning process was not fully effective due to challenges such as low student motivation and limited school environmental support. The teacher addressed these challenges through personal approaches, motivation, and consistent role modeling. The study concludes that Pancasila Education teachers’ strategies play a crucial role in fostering students’ Civic Responsibility, both in personal and social aspects, when implemented consistently and supported by a conducive school environment. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam menumbuhkan Civic Responsibility siswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada dua aspek utama, yaitu karakter privat yang mencerminkan tanggung jawab siswa di dalam kelas dan karakter publik yang tercermin dari perilaku siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian seorang guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan siswa kelas XI-3. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan enam strategi utama, meliputi penggunaan model pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, pendekatan pembelajaran, teknik penilaian, serta keteladanan guru. Penerapan strategi tersebut terbukti berpengaruh dalam membentuk karakter privat siswa, seperti kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan, serta karakter publik yang ditunjukkan melalui partisipasi aktif, kepedulian sosial, dan semangat gotong royong. Meskipun demikian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya efektif karena masih terdapat kendala seperti rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dan kurangnya dukungan lingkungan sekolah. Guru berupaya mengatasi hal tersebut melalui pendekatan personal, pemberian motivasi, dan keteladanan dalam sikap sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi guru Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki peran penting dalam menumbuhkan Civic Responsibility siswa, baik pada aspek pribadi maupun sosial, apabila dilaksanakan secara konsisten dan didukung oleh lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Civics learning in improving morality as an alternative to delinquency prevention for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Bangun Purba, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. This research consists of two variables. Data collection techniques used are the distribution of questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation. Total population, namely all students of class XI totaling 178 students. The sample taken in this study were 27 students, namely 15% of the total population using random sampling technique. The data analysis technique using Correlation Test, Determination Test and Hypothesis Testing. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on the role of Civics in improving morality as an alternative to preventing student delinquency, which has a very good effect. From the results of calculations using product moment correlation, rcount is 0.6917 while rtable at n-2 = 27-2 = 25 at an error rate of 5% is 0.3809, thus the price of rcount > rtable is 0.6917 > 0.3809 so that the correlation coefficient variable X and variable Y are significant and classified as strong. Based on the hypothesis test, it is obtained that tcount > ttable, then tcount = 4.76 > 2.0595 at a significant level of 5% so that the alternative hypothesis states that there is an Influence of the Role of Civics Learning in Improving Morality as an alternative to preventing student delinquency in SMA Negeri 1 Bangun Purba in the 2020 Academic Year/ 2021 is acceptable.
