Abstract

The rapid development of the times, the flow of globalization is increasingly affecting all aspects of every aspect of human life, especially in the world of education. This is because the development of science and technology has played a very important role in the learning process of students at school. Therefore, research was conducted to answer challenges in understanding digital literacy which is still low with a focus on increasing calistung abilities. The study used the ADDIE method with descriptive-quantitative data analysis. The subject of the research trial was carried out to grade II elementary school students at SDN Cimekar and SDN Mekarwangi in Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. Data was collected through field observation stages, written tests in the form of giving pretest & posttest questions to students and questionnaires to expert figures. In this study, it produced a percentage value of 92.86% in a very good category by media expert lecturers and a percentage value of 90% which had a good category even though revisions were delivered by material experts on the application display and material vocabulary. The pretest & posttest questions received an interpretation value of "enough" and all the questions tested were declared valid. This study uses a non-parametric statistical analysis test method. More precisely, using the Spearman rank correlation test and the Wilcoxon test which cawas processed using SPSS Version 24 software. The results showed that Android-based educational media had a positive and significant effect on increasing the ability of grade 2 calistung and the results of the pretest trial showed an average of 68.18 and test results try the posttest show an average of 80.91. So, it can be concluded that the developed media is suitable for use as an educational tool and can improve calistung abilities in students' learning competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop KATARIAN as an Android-based Edutainment media to improve the multiplication calculation skills of class III students at SDN Lebak Gede and find out the feasibility of the media being developed. Apart from that, through this research, it will be known how students' abilities increase before and after using KATARIAN media. This research uses a type of development research with the ADDIE development model. The research instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media experts validation sheets, pretest-posttest question sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for validation by experts and teachers are measured using a Likert scale, then the pretest and posttest sheets use the N-Gain formula analysis. Meanwhile, media feasibility is measured by teacher and student response questionnaires. From the research results, it is known that this Edutainment-based KATARIAN media is very valid in terms of validation results from material experts and media experts with an average percentage of 96% in the very valid category. Judging from the pretest-posttest results before and after media use, the N-Gain result was 0.6073 with a "medium" increase category. The suitability of the media can be determined through the results of the teacher questionnaire, namely getting 98% results and student response questionnaires getting 99% results. Based on these results, KATARIAN media can be categorized as very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the paradigm of grade II students who consider counting difficult. The fact found in the field is that the learning pattern is not fun so that students do not like and are not motivated to learn mathematics. The purpose of this study was to find out how game suits affect student motivation and their learning outcomes about addition in grade II. In addition, this study also determined whether game suits help students in improving students' numeracy skills related to summation operations. This study used quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study was grade II students totaling 60 students. The motivation data collection technique is questionnaire, while learning outcome data is pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques are performed using SPSS 23 for windows with t-test. The results of this study show that game suits in mathematics learning activities on addition material have a significant effect on increasing student learning motivation and have a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inappropriate use of learning media and the lack of use of technology, resulting in low learning outcomes, where in the 21st century learning emphasizes the use of technology. This is based on the fact that in the field there are still many teachers using inappropriate learning media, resulting in students not understanding the material and hampering students' ability to develop their critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills of students after using the V-Eduspace application in solar system learning. This study used quasi-experimental design research with non-equivalent control group. The sample of the research consists of 68 students in grade VI. Data collection techniques through two tests, namely the concept comprehension test and the critical thinking test. Data analysis using SPSS 29. The results showed that learning the solar system by utilizing the V-Eduspace application obtained higher assessment results compared to learning without the application. Therefore this application is able to further improve understanding and critical thinking skills. And proven by the results of the N-gain test, the effectiveness of using the V-Eduspace application in learning is in the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the extent to which the results of the development of the MALABARU (Mari Belajar Bangun Ruang) application as a learning media for spatial geometry material in grade V of Elementary School. This application contains material on the types and properties of spatial geometry, spatial geometry nets, and how to calculate the surface area and volume of spatial geometry. This application is packaged in several features such as explanatory materials, learning videos, and educational games. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) using the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were 39 grade V Elementary School students. The results of this study are that the learning media developed has been validated by three media experts with an average score of 95%, two material experts with an average score of 100%, and three language experts with an average score of 97.3% which indicates that the MALABARU application learning media is very suitable for use in the learning process. The results of the student questionnaire obtained an average score of 83.45% and the results of student activity observations obtained an average score of 87.07% which shows that the use of the MALABARU application has a positive impact on the learning process. Based on these results, the MALABARU application is considered very good and very suitable for use as a learning medium for spatial geometry material in grade V of Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is based on the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts in the material of plane figures. Students still have difficulty in understanding the concepts learned because the choice of learning approaches is not appropriate. The implementation of learning has not focused students to reconstruct their own knowledge, so there is a need for innovation in learning to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the RME approach assisted by geoboard on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in the material of plane figures. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control-group design. The population in this study were all fourth-grade elementary school students in Paseh District. Using a purposive sampling technique, SD Negeri Paseh 1 was selected as the experimental class and SD Negeri Cileuksa as the control class. The instruments used was mathematical concept understanding questions. Based on the research results, the average increase in pretest to posttest results for the experimental class was 38.5 while the control class was 29.89. The RME approach assisted by geoboard has a positive influence on the ability to understand mathematical concepts with an N-Gain value of 0.62. Likewise, the conventional approach has a positive influence on the ability to understand mathematical concepts with an N-Gain value of 0.45. In this case, there is a difference in the influence of the geoboard-assisted RME approach and conventional learning on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts.
