Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) of West Sumatra Province in preventing corruption. Using qualitative methods, data were obtained through interviews and policy analysis. Kesbangpol has played a role in increasing public awareness of the dangers of corruption through political education programs and strengthening national insight. However, the main challenge still lies in the practice of money politics and gratiļ¬cation that damage democracy and reduce public trust in the government. Internally, Kesbangpol implements online attendance policies and wealth reporting to increase transparency and prevent corruption among employees. This study concludes that public administration ethics are very important in efforts to create clean and effective governance.

Abstract

Kesbangpol West Sumatra Province has a strategic role in preventing corruption, which is still a serious challenge in Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the contribution of Kesbangpol in preventing corruption through theoretical and practical approaches. This study adopts Weberian bureaucratic theory, good governance, anti-corruption, and state administration ethics as a conceptual basis. The research uses qualitative methods through interviews, direct observation and documentation studies. The research results show that Kesbangpol has implemented various strategic steps such as anti-corruption education programs, strengthening transparency, as well as preventive, repressive and detective approaches. Educational programs include political education and national insight aimed at building community integrity, especially the younger generation. Transparency strategies include wealth reporting, digital-based financial management, and online attendance to reduce the potential for abuse of authority. Harmony between Weberian bureaucratic theory, good governance, and anti-corruption approaches has proven effective in forming an efficient, accountable and transparent bureaucratic system. However, technical challenges and lack of intensive supervision remain obstacles to policy implementation. This research has the implication that the application of technology and strengthening internal supervision can strengthen the role of Kesbangpol in creating a clean and stable government.

Abstract

Dapoer Ethak merupakan salah satu usaha bidang kuliner yang menjual aneka pempek dan kue, berada di Kecamatan Kayu Agung, Sumatra Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) menganalisis penerapan aspek produksi, pemasaran, sumber daya manusia, dan keuangan sebagai strategi pengembangan pada Dapoer Ethak (2) menganalisis cara penerapan metode Business Model Canvas pada usaha Dapoer Ethak. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada usaha Dapoer Ethak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa dalam melaksanakan aktivitas usahanya, Dapoer Ethak telah menerapkan aspek produksi, pemasaran, keuangan, dan sumber daya manusia dengan baik dan memenuhi 9 elemen Business Model Canvas. Tetapi pelaksanaannya masih belum dilakukan secara maksimal dan memerlukan perbaikan pada semua aspek kewirausahaan dan elemen BMC untuk meningkatkan daya saing usahanya seperti bekerjasama dengan supplier bahan baku dan kemasan, perbaiki laporan keuangan, memperbaiki sistem pemasaran, aktif mengikuti event food & beverage, pelatihan karyawan, menambahkan menu minuman yang beragam, menyediakan tempat makan di toko, dan upgrade perangkat kasir.

Abstract

Dapoer Ethak is a culinary business that sells various pempek and cakes, located in Kayu Agung District,South Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to (1) analyze the application of production, marketing,human resources and financial aspects as development strategies at Dapoer Ethak (2) analyze how to applythe Business Model Canvas method to Dapoer Ethak's business. This research is descriptive in nature byapplying a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation anddocumentation methods at the Dapoer Ethak business. Based on the research results, it can be seen that incarrying out its business activities, Dapoer Ethak has implemented aspects of production, marketing, financeand human resources well and fulfilled the 9 elements of the Business Model Canvas. However, itsimplementation is still not carried out optimally and requires improvements to all aspects ofentrepreneurship and elements of BMC to increase its business competitiveness, such as collaborating withsuppliers of raw materials and packaging, improving financial reports, improving the marketing system,actively participating in food & beverage events, employee training, added a diverse drink menu, providinga place to eat in the shop, and upgrading cashier equipment.
