Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the long-term and short-term relationship between banking performance and macroeconomic variables. The analysis method used is the vector error correction model (VECM) with the variables ROA, BOPO, LDR, industrial production index, CPI, and BI rate. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between ROA and industrial production index in the long run and a significant negative relationship between ROA and CPI in the long and short term. There is a significant negative relationship between BOPO and the industrial production index in the long and short term. LDR has a significant negative relationship with all macro variables in the long term whereas, in the short term, LDR has a significant negative relationship with the CPI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the impact of Financial Inclusion in Indonesia and other macroeconomic variables on poverty rate in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data. Analysis method with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results of this study indicate that the variable Bank Service Offices per 1,000 km2 , Ratio of DPK, Ratio CRD have a negative and significant effect on poverty rate in 33 provinces in Indonesia in 2014-2018, and Unemployment Rate (UMP) has a positive and significant effect on poverty rate in 33 provinces in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period. However, the variable Economic Growth and Inflation (INF) did not have a significant effect on poverty in 33 provinces in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period. Measuring this dimension is still difficult to do and currently several international institutions were concerned about the development of financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the right indicators in making a financial crisis early warning system by combining economic and political factors. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data collected through the official website of the institution and data publications, with variables Financial Crisis, GDP, inflation, interest rates, and political stability. The scope of this study is annual data from Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand from 1996 to 2022. The data was analyzed through the logit method, with dependent variables 0 and 1. The results showed that the variables inflation, GDP, and domestic credit had a significant effect on the occurrence of the financial crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of non-cash payment instruments on cash circulation, analyze variables that affect the decline in cash use in Indonesia such as ATM/debit, credit cards, e-money and mobile banking. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series and the model used in this study is the ECM approach to determine the correlation between ATM/debit cards, credit cards, e-money and digital banking on cash circulation. The results showed that ATM/debit cards have a significant positive effect on cash circulation in the long and short term. In the long and short term credit cards have a significant negative effect on cash circulation. In the long and short term, electronic money has a significant negative effect on cash circulation. Mobile Banking has an insignificant negative effect on cash circulation in the long and short term. Based on the results of statistical tests, the variables of ATM/debit cards, credit cards, e-money, and mobile banking simultaneously affect the circulation of cash in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of GDP, Third Party Funds, and Non-Performing Loans on credit procyclicality behavior at Government Banks. The method and analytical tools used in this research are panel data regression with the dependent variable, namely Credit, and the independent variables, namely GDP, Third Party Funds, and Non-Performing Loans. The scope of this research is BUMN Banks with a time span of 2017-2022. This research shows that the best model chosen is the Fix Effect Model with the results that GDP, Third Party Funds and Non-Performing Loans have a positive and significant effect on credit distribution, which shows that there is procyclical behavior in government banks.

Abstract

Profitability is one of the most important elements in the success and survival of banking. Good profitability will benefit the economy as a whole which can provide more loans to small and micro businesses and support local economic growth, namely through Rural Banks. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, and KAP on the profitability of conventional Rural Banks in Lampung province for the period 2016-2023. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. The data analysis technique uses panel data regression. The results showed that CAR and LDR had a positive and significant effect on ROA, while NPL, BOPO, and KAP had a negative and significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, and KAP together have a significant effect on ROA.

Abstract

Salah satu komponen dalam masyarakat yang cukup rentan adalah remaja putus sekolah, karena kondisi tersebut dikhawatirkan dapat menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan sosial. Kasus remaja putus sekolah selain karena faktor ekonomi dan sosial, juga karena faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri remaja itu sendiri yaitu minim minatnya pada pendidikan, rendahnya intelektualitas, faktor mental serta munculnya sikap malas untuk belajar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya nyata untuk mengatasi serta mencari solusi permasalahan tersebut baik oleh pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu melakukan pendampingan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi remaja yang putus sekolah di Desa Gebang Kabupaten Pesawaran melalui pelatihan pembuatan bross rajut. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diikuti oleh sebanyak 15 orang remaja putus sekolah dan dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Gebang. Kegiatan pelatihan merajut berjalan sangat menyenangkan dengan suasana yang santai namun tetap serius. Peserta kegiatan dapat mengikuti kegiatan dan sudah mengusai keterampilan tahap dasar dengan membuat bross rajut. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat membekali keterampilan kepada remaja putus sekolah dan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan
