Abstract

This community service project aims to assist and encourage Adijaya Village Seedling Garden in developing digital marketing strategies and conducting business feasibility studies. Adijaya Village Seedling Garden (VSG), Pekalongan, East Lampung, is an example of how digital marketing is not commonly employed, especially in areas and villages. Another issue is that partners lack the necessary skills to write Business Feasibility Study Reports. Partners require the creation of a Firm Feasibility Study Report in order to reduce the danger of loss by determining whether or not a business can be run continually. This service activity's execution technique includes training and guidance in order to lay the groundwork for online marketing in Adijaya village and business feasibility studies. This service activity went off without a hitch, and the participants were enthusiastic in their participation. The training participants should be able to understand and implement marketing strategies as well as conduct business feasibility studies as a result of this activity.

Abstract

This study explores individual decisions in carrying out natural non-permanent mobility activities to the city of Bandar Lampung. Non-permanent migration increased by 300 percent during 2016-2018. The data used in this research is the 2018 Sakernas micro data for August. Data analysis using the Binary Logistic Regression. The findings show that the variation in the independent variable is able to explain the variation in the dependent variable by 52 percent.. All independent variables (age, wages, education, and distance) are statistically significant in influencing individual decisions to undertake non-permanent migration, except for the variable marital status. The highest odds ratio value for the distance variable, then the education variable. This means that the closer the distance to Bandar Lampung and the better the individual's education, the higher the probability of non-permanent migration to the city of Bandar Lampung. Variable selection is limited due to adjusting the supply of Sakernas micro data files. In the future, it is very important for the government to understand this temporary mobility movement in order to control the short-term and long-term implications of achieving a more equitable distribution of wealth in Lampung Province. Equitable development between urban and rural areas needs to be realized immediately in reducing income inequality and development.

Abstract

Teacher welfare is an important aspect that affects the standard, quality of life, and work of teachers. The components of welfare for the Indonesian State Civil Servant (ASN) are basic salary, allowances, work environment, security aspects in granting civil servant (PNS) status, awards, work-life balance between working hours and workload, and the development of certified teacher professionalism. The study population was ASN SDN teachers totaling 1466 people. Sampling using purposional sampling random method based on the lottery obtained a sample size of 155 people. The research objective was to determine the effect of consumption expenditure, education level, training, work experience, and teacher certification on the welfare of ASN SDN teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The estimation method used Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The findings are that the level of education, training, work experience, and teacher certification have a positive and significant effect on the welfare of ASN primary school teachers in Bandar Lampung City, while consumption expenditure has a negative and significant effect on the welfare of ASN primary school teachers in Bandar Lampung City. In the future, it is necessary to improve education, training, and experience, as well as teacher certification to improve welfare. In addition, it is necessary to maintain the purchasing power of teachers' income so that it is not eroded by inflation which reduces purchasing power.

Research data is secondary data, which is a combination of time series and cross-section data. By using cross-section data from 34 provinces in Indonesia with a period of years from 2010 to 2022. Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method is used to identify the long-run and short-run relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results of this study indicate that the number of employed labor force has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the long run, but has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in the short run. Meanwhile, Gross Fixed Capital Formation has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in both the long and short run.

This study relies on primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires through structured interviews with 50 drivers, who were selected using the purposive sampling method. Data processing and analysis is done with the help of Eviews 13 software using multiple linear regression methods. The findings from this study use that partially, the four variables are average rates, number of trips, fixed costs, and variable costs have a positive and significant influence on the income received by Maxim drivers. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between access to electricity and renewable energy on economic growth in Indonesia, using a quantitative descriptive approach. Time series data from 1985 to 2022 was sourced from World Development Indicators and Our World in Data. The Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was used in this study after the existence of cointegration between variables was proven. The estimation results found that all independent variables have a positive and statistically significant relationship with economic growth, with the surprising finding that, in the long term, the impact of renewable energy (1.14%) is relatively greater than the impact of electricity access (0.29%) on economic growth. Going forward, the contribution of renewable energy to economic growth is predicted to increase in line with the SDG targets. Indonesia's energy sector reforms have had a significant impact in reducing the effects of climate change and freeing the country from fossil fuels.

Abstract

Women and employment are a problem faced by both developed and developing countries. The view that women should work in the domestic sphere places women as weak and disadvantaged in society. This study aims to analyze and determine the role of the dimensions of economic and health in the female labor force participation during the 2017-2021 period in 34 provinces in Indonesia. Economic indicators are seen from female wages and female education. Meanwhile, health indicators are seen in female-headed households, fertility, and young women’s marriage. This study uses panel data analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The study results show that the indicators in the economic dimension that have a significant relationship to the female labor force participation are female wages and female education. Then, an indicator in health that has a significant relationship is early-age marriage. Education emerges as a key finding in this study, thereby positioning the expansion of women's access to education as a central focus in efforts to enhance female labor force participation (FLFP).

Abstract

The goal of the study is to analyze the factors that impact Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in five ASEAN countries from 2016 to 2022. The independent variables in this model are Export, Education (EDU), and Industry. This study employs a quantitative approach and uses panel data regression. The estimation results indicate that exports positively and significantly to economic growth. In contrast, education has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Industry variable has a positive but insignificant impact on economic growth. The model uses the Fixed Effects Model (FEM), and the adjusted R-squared is 0.4694. These findings suggest that increasing exports contributes to economic growth. However, education should be aligned with industry needs, and the industrial sector must adapt to updated technologies to avoid deindustrialization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the demand for labor in large and medium industries in Sumatra. The determinants of labor demand in this study are the Regional Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product and Total Labor Force. The minimum wage is one of the determining variables because the sample in this study are production workers. The data used is industrial survey panel data for 2010-2019 for 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra. The structural model that has been estimated for each industry and has been tested significantly is REM. The estimation results show that the provincial minimum wage, gross regional domestic product and the size of the workforce have a positive and significant effect on employment. In medium industries, the estimation results show that the minimum wage has a positive and insignificant effect, gross regional domestic product has a positive and significant effect, the size of the workforce has a negative effect but is not significant.
