Abstract

This community service project aims to assist and encourage Adijaya Village Seedling Garden in developing digital marketing strategies and conducting business feasibility studies. Adijaya Village Seedling Garden (VSG), Pekalongan, East Lampung, is an example of how digital marketing is not commonly employed, especially in areas and villages. Another issue is that partners lack the necessary skills to write Business Feasibility Study Reports. Partners require the creation of a Firm Feasibility Study Report in order to reduce the danger of loss by determining whether or not a business can be run continually. This service activity's execution technique includes training and guidance in order to lay the groundwork for online marketing in Adijaya village and business feasibility studies. This service activity went off without a hitch, and the participants were enthusiastic in their participation. The training participants should be able to understand and implement marketing strategies as well as conduct business feasibility studies as a result of this activity.

Abstract

This study explores individual decisions in carrying out natural non-permanent mobility activities to the city of Bandar Lampung. Non-permanent migration increased by 300 percent during 2016-2018. The data used in this research is the 2018 Sakernas micro data for August. Data analysis using the Binary Logistic Regression. The findings show that the variation in the independent variable is able to explain the variation in the dependent variable by 52 percent.. All independent variables (age, wages, education, and distance) are statistically significant in influencing individual decisions to undertake non-permanent migration, except for the variable marital status. The highest odds ratio value for the distance variable, then the education variable. This means that the closer the distance to Bandar Lampung and the better the individual's education, the higher the probability of non-permanent migration to the city of Bandar Lampung. Variable selection is limited due to adjusting the supply of Sakernas micro data files. In the future, it is very important for the government to understand this temporary mobility movement in order to control the short-term and long-term implications of achieving a more equitable distribution of wealth in Lampung Province. Equitable development between urban and rural areas needs to be realized immediately in reducing income inequality and development.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the important sectors in increasing economic growth in Indonesia. However, in addition, the tourism sector can also indirectly cause negative effects, namely environmental degradation in the form of carbon emissions caused by several tourism activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of carbon emissions, GRDP which is one of the economic factors, the number of foreign tourists which is one of the tourism indicators, and the population in five provinces that are priority tourist destinations in Indonesia in 2010 - 2019, and also see the long-term influence between related variables. This study uses panel data with a quantitative approach that is analyzed with several tests, including the residual normality test, panel unit root test, cointegration test, and FMOLS test. The results of the study indicate that the GRDP and number of foreign tourists variables have a positive and significant effect, while the energy consumption and population variables have a negative and significant effect. The cointegration and FMOLS tests show that in this study there is a long-term effect between GRDP, the number of foreign tourists, energy consumption, population, and carbon emissions in five priority tourist destination provinces in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of macroprudential and microprudential policies on the stability of banks in Indonesia during the post-COVID-19 recovery period. The study applies an Error Correction Model (ECM) to panel data collected quarterly from the first quarter of 2020 to the fourth quarter of 2022, focusing on ten banks categorized as BUKU IV banks in Indonesia. The findings reveal that, in the long run, the macroprudential intermediation ratio significantly and positively influences the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio. Conversely, return on assets (ROA) and the loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR) exhibit a significant negative relationship with NPL. Meanwhile, the macroprudential liquidity buffer demonstrates a positive but statistically insignificant effect on NPL, whereas the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) shows a negative yet statistically insignificant relationship with NPL. In the short term, the results indicate that the macroprudential intermediation ratio retains its positive and significant influence on NPL. Similarly, ROA and CAR are found to have a significant negative impact on NPL, suggesting their importance in mitigating loan defaults. However, the macroprudential liquidity buffer continues to display a positive but statistically insignificant effect on NPL, while LDR demonstrates a negative but also statistically insignificant relationship with NPL. These findings underscore the complex dynamics between prudential policies and banking stability, emphasizing the varying impacts of key financial indicators over different time horizons.

Abstract

The agricultural sector faces significant challenges due to climate change, declining arable land, and uncertain investment patterns that affect output growth—particularly in Java and Sumatra, which are key agricultural regions in Indonesia. Moreover, regional disparities, productivity fluctuations, and structural transformation have shifted development priorities toward industrial and service sectors. These challenges are exacerbated by the sector’s high vulnerability to extreme climate events and commodity price instability. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the key determinants of agricultural output is crucial to formulate adaptive and well-targeted policy responses. This study aims to analyze the effects of rice productivity, climate change, and agricultural investment on the agricultural output in Java and Sumatra during the 2018–2022 period. The study uses panel data from 16 provinces and applies panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), selected through Chow and Hausman tests, supported by classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that climate change has a negative and significant effect on agricultural output, while agricultural investment has a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, rice productivity shows no significant effect on agricultural output. This study provides important policy implications for developing climate-adaptive agricultural strategies and encouraging investments to promote sustainable growth in the agricultural sector..

Abstract

Abstract

Food security is a strategic issue that reflects community welfare and regional development stability. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the opportunity to improve food security status at the district level in Papua and West Papua Provinces during the 2019–2023 period. This study uses secondary data obtained from official agencies, such as the Central Statistics Agency and the National Food Agency. The analysis method used is binary logistic regression, with a nominal-scale dependent variable. The results of the study show that increasing rice productivity and the Human Development Index (HDI) significantly increase the opportunity for a region to achieve food security status. Conversely, the high share of community expenditure on food significantly decreases this opportunity. These findings provide important implications for the formulation of regional development policies, especially in integrating agricultural, social, and basic infrastructure sector strategies to strengthen food security in a sustainable manner.
