Abstract

Abstract

Transportation problems are one of the particular forms that often appear in linear programs, one of which is the distribution of goods. A transportation method is needed to determine the optimal result, namely, the minimum cost from source to destination with all demand and supply fulfilled. There are several methods, one of which is the Lowest Supply Lowest Cost Method (LSLC) and the Exponential Approach Method (PE). Both methods are made in a MATLAB program, generating a script that calculates the algorithm's time complexity. Using the function notation, the Big-O Algorithm complexity of the Lowest Supply Lowest Cost method is more efficient than the Exponential Approach Method algorithm. At the same time, the optimal result for the minimum cost between the two methods is obtained by using the Exponential Approach Method.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the formulation of inheritance to know the genotype of the n-th generation in trihybrid crosses with controlled parent genotypes and analyze them by applying the diagonalization of a matrix. Matrix diagonalization makes it easier to find out the inheritance genotype of the n-th generation in trihybrid to obtain superior offspring compared with crossing it one by one, which requires a lot of time and cost. Based on the analysis, an equation for the probability of inheritance was obtained for 27 genotypes of the n-th generation, and the resulting offspring in an infinite generation are likely to have the TTKKBB genotype.

Abstract

If there is multicollinearity and outliers in the data, the inference about parameter estimation in the LS method will deviate due to the inefficiency of this method in estimating. To overcome these two problems simultaneously, it can be done using robust regression, one of which is ridge least absolute deviation method. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the ridge least absolute deviation method in surmounting multicollinearity in divers sample sizes and percentage of outliers using simulation data. The Monte Carlo study was designed in a multiple regression model with multicollinearity (ρ=0.99) between variables and and outliers 10%, 20%, 30% on response variables with different sample sizes (n = 25, 50,75,100,200; =0, and β=1 otherwise). The existence of multicollinearity in the data is done by calculating the correlation value between the independent variables and the VIF value. Outlier detection is done by using boxplot. Parameter estimation was carried out using the RLAD and LS methods. Furthermore, a comparison of the MSE values of the two methods is carried out to see which method is better in overcoming multicollinearity and outliers. The results showed that RLAD had a lower MSE than LS. This signifies that RLAD is more precise in estimating the regression coefficients for each sample size and various outlier levels studied.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has caused severe problems in Indonesia. The Covid-19 virus epidemic can be modeled using the Susceptible, Infected, and Recovered (SIR) model. This modeling aims to look at the dynamics of Covid-19 to predict when disease-free and endemic disease occurs and to find the basic reproduction number ( ) for policy making in suppressing the spread of Covid-19. In this article, we describe and solve a research result on the SIR model with an assumption. The assumption in the model is that there is vaccination for the population. There are live stages of research conducted. The first is creating the SIR model and determining the equilibrium points on disease-free and disease-endemic. The Second is getting the basic reproduction number. The third is determining the stability around the equilibrium points using the Routh-Hurwitz criteria. Fourth, create a diagram for the subpopulations state at a specific time using Wolfram Mathematica software. As an implementation of the model created, COVID-19 data at the Batanghari Community Health Center Inpatient UPTD was used. Finally, determine the model error percentage with MAPE. The SIR Covid-19 model was made using eight parameters, namely , which are all positive. The results showed that the disease-free and disease-endemic equilibrium points were locally asymptotically stable after being analyzed using the Routh-Hurwitz stability criteria. The model trial using data from UPTD Puskesmas Batanghari obtained a stable condition for up to 100 months with a MAPE of 2.8%. From this study, obtained an . This means that if you want to reduce the rate of spread, then reduce the number of people who are easily infected ( ) and reduce contacts ( ), and increase the healing rate ( ).
