Abstract

The development of geometric studies is very rapid, including fractal geometry. A fractal is a geometric shape that fulfills the properties of the fractal dimension. If you look at a fractal at first glance, it has an irregular shape, but if you look further, there is a regularity. One of the properties of fractals is self-similarity which occurs when a fractal is enlarged. The fractal form has a pattern obtained from iterating a function with infinite repetition. Among the fractal shapes there is the Sierpinski carpet shape. Fractals in 2D form can be transformed using geometric concepts into 3D fractals. Fractal shapes can be applied for cultural development, namely to form wallpaper motifs. Fractal geometric motifs are obtained from iterating a function with the help of Wolframe Mathematica.

Abstract

A system of nonlinear equations is a collection of several interrelated non-linear equations. Currently, systems of nonlinear equations are used not only on crisp but also on fuzzy numbers. A fuzzy number is an ordered pair function that has a degree of membership [0,1]. Meanwhile, a fully fuzzy system of equations is a system of equations that applies fuzzy number arithmetic operations. The solution of non-linear equation systems is usually complicated to solve analytically, so numerical methods are used as an alternative to solve these problems. In this research, the steps to find the solution of nonlinear fully fuzzy equation systems using genetic algorithms are studied, which in the solution process is based on the theory of evolution and natural selection. The solution steps taken are first converting the fully fuzzy system of equations into a system of crisp equations, next constructing the system of strict equations as a multi-objective optimization problem, and lastly solving the optimization problem using a genetic algorithm which includes initialization, evaluation, selection, crossover, and mutation. As illustrations, several cases of nonlinear fully fuzzy and dual fully fuzzy systems of equations on triangular fuzzy numbers and trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are given. The approximate solutions obtained using genetic algorithms produce solutions that are close to their analytic solutions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the efficiency of the Self-Estimate Price (HPS) process in the Analysis and Finance Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 7 after the organizational restructuring in April 2024. The restructuring led to the separation of PT Perkebunan Nusantara I and IV Regional 7, affecting the number of staff handling the HPS process. The research uses the Multi-Channel Single-Phase queuing model with Poisson arrival distribution and exponential service time, based on data collected from April to December 2024. Unlike previous studies using data before the restructuring and involving three servers (Dita Arfi, 2024), this study focuses on two servers in the new organizational context. The results show significant inefficiencies, including a system utilization rate of 0.8, a probability of no customers in the system of 11.1%, and an average queue length of 2.84 packages. Additionally, the average waiting time in the queue is 5 days, and the total time in the system is 8 days. The study concludes that workload imbalance and limited human resources are the leading causes of inefficiency, and recommends redistributing tasks or adding staff to improve efficiency. This research provides a new perspective on post-restructuring efficiency.

Abstract

The Lorenz curve is generally used to find out the inequality of income distribution. Mathematically a standard form of the Lorenz curve can be modified with the aim of simplicity of its symmetric analysis and calculation of the Gini coefficient that usually accompanies it. One way to modify the shape of the Lorenz curve without losing its characteristics but is simple in the analysis of geometric shapes is through a transformation (rotation). To be efficient and effective in computing and analyzing a Lorenz curve it is necessary to consider using computer software. In this article, in addition to describing the development of the concept of using transformations (rotations) of the standard Lorenz curve in an easy-to-do form, the symmetric analysis is also described by computational techniques using Mathematica® software. From the results of the application of the development of the concept of the Lorenz curve which is carried out on a data gives a simpler picture of the computational process with relatively similar computational results.

Abstract

Given a graph with n points and m lines. If each vertex is labeled, then it can be constructed many graphs, connected, or disconnected graphs. A graph G is called a connected graph if there is at least one path that connects a pair of vertices in G. In addition, the graph formed may be simple or not simple. A simple graph is a graph that does not contain loops or parallel lines. A loop is a line that connects a point to itself, and a parallel line is two or more lines that connect the same pair of points. This paper will discuss the relationship between the formula patterns for calculating the number of connected graphs labeled with vertices of order five and six without loops.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the formulation of inheritance to know the genotype of the n-th generation in trihybrid crosses with controlled parent genotypes and analyze them by applying the diagonalization of a matrix. Matrix diagonalization makes it easier to find out the inheritance genotype of the n-th generation in trihybrid to obtain superior offspring compared with crossing it one by one, which requires a lot of time and cost. Based on the analysis, an equation for the probability of inheritance was obtained for 27 genotypes of the n-th generation, and the resulting offspring in an infinite generation are likely to have the TTKKBB genotype.

As a result, children's enthusiasm for learning decreases, and the a lack of real interaction between teachers and students. This condition can be used by Student Community Service (SCS) to arrange programs to fill study time without a teacher with face-to-face teaching-learning activities. The activity in question is called The SCS Teaching-Learning (SCS TL) Program. The SCS TL aims to help elementary school (SD) students gain additional knowledge (Mathematics and English) to create enthusiasm for learning despite the limited time for face-to-face learning at school with the teacher. This activity is carried out by forming study groups with elementary school-age group children outside of learning activities at school. This activity aims to increase enthusiasm for learning through Mathematics and English learning materials during the post-Covid-19 pandemic. This activity is a solution to problems through participatory-collective learning methods. The method approach is through the assistance of teaching and learning activities and the assistance of a descriptive qualitative approach. To measure the success of the SCS TL activity, we measured quantitatively for the indications of the increasing enthusiasm of the children of Banjarsari Village in participating in study groups and increasing their ability to learn Mathematics and English. We conclude that the children's enthusiasm increased because of the occurrence of participants at each meeting and the increase in the willingness to learn to be productive, proactive, and creative through the learning provided. Keywords: Student Community Service: Teaching-Learning Program, Collective-Participatory Method, Banja

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has caused severe problems in Indonesia. The Covid-19 virus epidemic can be modeled using the Susceptible, Infected, and Recovered (SIR) model. This modeling aims to look at the dynamics of Covid-19 to predict when disease-free and endemic disease occurs and to find the basic reproduction number ( ) for policy making in suppressing the spread of Covid-19. In this article, we describe and solve a research result on the SIR model with an assumption. The assumption in the model is that there is vaccination for the population. There are live stages of research conducted. The first is creating the SIR model and determining the equilibrium points on disease-free and disease-endemic. The Second is getting the basic reproduction number. The third is determining the stability around the equilibrium points using the Routh-Hurwitz criteria. Fourth, create a diagram for the subpopulations state at a specific time using Wolfram Mathematica software. As an implementation of the model created, COVID-19 data at the Batanghari Community Health Center Inpatient UPTD was used. Finally, determine the model error percentage with MAPE. The SIR Covid-19 model was made using eight parameters, namely , which are all positive. The results showed that the disease-free and disease-endemic equilibrium points were locally asymptotically stable after being analyzed using the Routh-Hurwitz stability criteria. The model trial using data from UPTD Puskesmas Batanghari obtained a stable condition for up to 100 months with a MAPE of 2.8%. From this study, obtained an . This means that if you want to reduce the rate of spread, then reduce the number of people who are easily infected ( ) and reduce contacts ( ), and increase the healing rate ( ).
