Abstract

Antimicrobial substance into dentifrice is to destroy or inhibit the microorganisms that are associated with oral disease. One of the antimicrobial substances is a sodium bicarbonate. Sodium bicarbonate characterized as antimicrobial agent and buffering solution, the function of a buffer is to stand with change in pH after additional acid or base. This research is carried out to find out the effect of sodium bicarbonate concentration dentifrice to the growth of Streptococcus mutans. This research is an experimental laboratory. One millimeter suspension of Streptococcus mutans inoculated in MHA. After wards the agar was divided into 5 sectors and each was made a well and each well was loaded sodium bicarbonate dentifrice with 5 %, 10%, 15%, 20% concentration. The media was incubated for 48 hours in 37°C. Potential antimicrobial was measured by sliding caliper with 0. 01 mm in accuracy. This research uses twenty five samples. Data analysis was done One-way ANOVA to know the effect variance concentration, and LSDM5 to know mean difference between groups sodium bicarbonate. The result of this research showed that there were significant difference among the concentration sodium bicarbonate within dentifrice to the growth Streptococcus mutans @2 0.05). The result of LSD” 05 showed that there were significant differences between 0% concentration of sodium bicarbonate within dentifrice of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. The conclusion of this research was that effect of sodium bicarbonate concentration within dentifrice to the growth of Streptococcus mutans.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the dissemination level of Ulil Filtered Technology (TUF) and geo-membrane technology and factors influencing salt production in Pangkep. Purposive sampling was performed for data collection. Regression analysis was applied for data analysis. Revenue cost analysis (R-C ratio) was performed. Break Event Point analysis (BEP) was applied, and Pay Back Period (PBP) analysis was used. The results showed that salt farmers unfamiliar with TUF and geo-membrane technology ranged from 6.71 to 9.62%, reasonably know (36.53 - 37.76%) and know to use TUF and geo-membrane technology (53.85 - 55.53%). Cost and technology significantly affected salt production, including area and number of labourers. The business feasibility study showed that Revenue Cost Ratio (1.98), Break Event Point (IDR 4,735,276), and Pay Back Period (1.9 years), respectively.

Abstract

This study examines how spacing affects seaweed Gracilaria sp. growth and productivity using the span rope approach. This study used the longline approach and a randomized block design (RBD) factorial pattern. This study tested plant spacing at 15, 20, and 25 cm. Every treatment used Gracillaria sp. seeds. Each bundle weighs 30 grams. This study studied specific growth, absolute growth, Gracillaria sp. production, and water quality-related research parameters. The study measured absolute and specific seaweed weight increase. These data will be descriptively evaluated using ANOVA and SPSS. The specific growth rate (SGR) was statistically significantly affected by spacing at 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm. The trial results showed that 25 cm spacing had the highest specific daily growth rate, 3.7%. The 15 cm spacing had the lowest growth rate, 1.8%, while the 20 cm spacing had 2.9%. Average absolute growth significantly affected Gracillaria sp. growth. The treatment with the highest average absolute growth rate was 25 cm with 156g, 20 cm with 121g, and 15 cm with 77g.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of varying the depth of water on the growth and productivity of seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii. The study was carried out in the seas of Pallette. The research methodology used in this study incorporates three different planting depth treatments, specifically 1.5 meters, 3 meters, and 4 meters. In each treatment, 50 grams of Kappaphycus alvarezii seeds per bunch were used. The findings of this study indicate that seaweed cultivation at a depth of 1.5 m yields significantly favourable outcomes compared to the treatments conducted at depths of 3 m and 4 m, where growth is comparatively less optimal. This occurrence can be attributed to the diminished level of light penetration at such a depth. There is an inverse relationship between the depth of seaweed planting and the rate of weight gain. The optimal depth for seaweed cultivation for 42 days is 1.5 meters, with an average specific growth rate of 3% daily. On the contrary, the treatment carried out at a depth of 1.5 m showed the most substantial increase in biomass, averaging 122 g. Additionally, the maximum yield of seaweed was observed in the same treatment, precisely measuring 1,208 g/m2.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of attitudes, behavioral control and financial literacy on the intention to invest in Sharia shares among the people of Pekanbaru city. The population of this research is people who are interested in investing in Sharia shares in the city of Pekanbaru. The total research sample was 100 people using the incidental sampling method and using the Cochran formula. Analysis of research data is quantitative using multiple linear regression methods. The research results show that there is an influence of attitude, behavioral control, and financial literacy on the intention to invest in Sharia shares. This is proven by the value Fcount (228.637) > Ftable (2.70) with Sig. (0.000) < 0.05. The coefficient of determination obtained was 0.737 or 73.7% for Sharia Stock Investment Intentions, and the remaining 26.3% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
