Abstract

This research is motivated by the very rapid development of Small and MediumIndustries in Indonesia, this can make economic development in Indonesia even better. Ineconomic development in Indonesia, the role of Small and Medium Industries is quite strategic. Many parties believe that the SME sector business is able to withstand the economic crisis thathas been experienced in previous years. On the other hand, the development of the SME sectorbusiness cannot be separated from the general characteristics that most of the products producedare for the growth of domestic needs, especially in one district. Various business profiles arebriefly reviewed to provide an up- to-date overview of the small and medium industry sectorbusinesses. The type of data used in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. The primary data used is the 2018 sub-district SMI data, while the secondary data includes thename of the SMI, address, product, total production per year, the main KBLI group, KBLI,coordinate points and elevation. Data were collected using the interview method and GPStracking. The results obtained from this study are the potential distribution of Small and MediumIndustries which are spread across 26 Districts in Majalengka Regency, which in 2018 totaled1747 SMI.

Abstract

Following up on PKM on purple sweet potato crackers in Padahanten village and seeing the current very rapid development of the service business, with the growth of the service business in Indonesia this has resulted in higher competition, consumers are more selective in buying and choosing the products they need. Therefore, purple sweet potato chips must be able to meet consumer needs. Products that are able to win the competition with competitors need a strategy that can improve services and be able to compete effectively in this increasingly competitive market. Win the competition and keep the business alive, growing and getting as many customers as possible. This can be said to be successful if consumers are satisfied with the performance of a product or service provided by the entrepreneur. According to Lewis & Booms, in Service Management by Fandy Tjiptono (2016) Service quality is defined as a measure of how large the level of service that can be provided in accordance with the level of consumer expectations. In other words, the factors that affect the quality of service are the services expected by consumers, if the service exceeds what is expected by consumers, the quality of service can be said to be good (positive), and vice versa if the service is not in accordance with what is expected by consumers, it can be said that the quality of service is bad. (negative value) Quadrant analysis or Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is a descriptive analysis technique introduced by John A. Martilla and John C. James (1977) cited by Tjiptono and Chandra (2016: 222-223). Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is an analytical technique used to identify what important performance factors must be demonstrated by an organization in meeting the satisfaction of their service users (consumers). Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the analysis of consumer satisfaction on the quality of service in the marketing of purple sweet potato crackers by using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. and promotions. Through these (4P's) attributes, it will be known what influences consumers' desire to visit Padahanten purple sweet potato. The variables that are traced or researched are aspects of reliability (reliability), responsiveness (response), tangible (tangible), assurances (certainty), and empathy (empathy).

Abstract

In manufacturing companies, production activities are a very important activity. If the production activities produce a lot of defective products, it will cause losses in the form of additional time and raw material costs for repairing these defective products, so that quality control is needed so that the company can produce products that comply with predetermined quality standards. This final project research was conducted at PT. XYZ Majalengka where this company is engaged in the service industry, production activities at PT. XYZ Majalengka is carried out based on a make to order response demand strategy, namely the company carries out production activities when there are orders from consumers. This research focuses on the production process of the pirn winder machine which functions to wind yarn raw materials according to the desired weight and according to the available TFO capacity (700 gr, 714 gr, 1000gr or 1500gr). However, regardless of production quality standards on the pirn winder machine, it does not rule out the possibility that defects will always occur. Therefore it is necessary to have quality control in the production process of this pirn winder machine. Its function is clear to reduce the number of defects and improve the quality of production produced. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a statistical analysis used for quality control, starting from monitoring, analyzing, predicting, controlling and improving the production process and product quality through control charts. Statistical quality control using SPC (Statistical Process Control) has seven statistical tools that can be used as tools to control quality, namely, check sheets, histograms, P control charts, pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, scatter diagrams, and diagrams. process.

Abstract

The use of a belt conveyor is one of the choices of facilities or tools used to transport or move materials or as a means of transporting materials, both bulk materials and individual materials. One of the machines that requires a conveyor is a corn cob sheller and chopper machine which was created in 2022. by Majalengka University students. This tool has a problem, namely, the corn that has been shelled cannot automatically go straight into the chopping machine, so a design is needed that takes into account the safety factor and the correct conveyor speed. This is of course for safety and ensures that the conveyor can transport corn which has a density of 760 kg/m 3 at a slope of 300 ‰. For this reason, the conveyor that best suits these needs must have specifications with a total belt length of 0.295 m, drum pulley diameter of 3 in or 0.0762 m, shaft diameter of 20 mm with a length of 500 mm, 150 watt electric motor drive, 16T small sprocket gear and 24T large sprocket with chain number 35. Safety Factor (SF) on the Belt Conveyor frame has a minimum SF value of 6.3, with a maximum tension of 32.5 N/mm2 and yield strength of 204 N/mm2 and a belt speed of 0.5 m/s.

Abstract

This study aims to design an ergonomic study table based on students' anthropometric data to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. Anthropometric data, such as sitting elbow height, knee height, thigh length, and hand reach, were collected from 121 students using an anthropometer. In addition, musculoskeletal complaints were evaluated using the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Ergonomic risks were assessed using REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) and RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) methods to identify non-ideal work postures. The results of the analysis showed that the current working posture of the students was in the high to very high risk zone, with a final REBA score of 9 and RULA of 8. Based on these results, an ergonomic study table was designed with adjustable height features (60-72 cm), 62 cm table width, and 124 cm table length. This design refers to anthropometric data with the 5th to 95th percentile range to ensure comfort and compatibility with various student body dimensions. This ergonomic study table design is expected to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries, increase productivity, and create a healthier and more comfortable learning environment for students. Design validation through hands-on testing is a recommendation for further research.

Abstract

The rapid business competition in Indonesia results in business challenges for a company. In the current era, consumers are very careful in finding, buying, and using a product that suits what they want. Therefore, a company is required to find what kind of marketing strategy so that the products they offer can become the main choice of consumers to make purchasing decisions. This study aims to determine how co-branding influences purchasing decisions for consumers of Ice Cream Aice Blueberry Cookies. This research is included in survey research using a verification description. The population used in the study were consumers of Aice Blueberry Cookies in Majalengka with a sample size of 100 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that co-branding is in the very good category, and purchasing decisions are in the high category.
