Abstract

Abstract

Traditional Indonesian dances serve as a vital expression of cultural identity and regional heritage, yet their preservation through intelligent video recognition remains limited due to technical challenges in motion complexity, costume variation, and the lack of annotated datasets. Prior research commonly employed Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) with manually defined hyperparameters, which often resulted in overfitting and poor adaptability when applied to dynamic and real-world video inputs. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a robust and adaptive classification framework utilizing a hyperparameter-tuned CNN model. The approach automatically optimizes key training parameters such as learning rate, batch size, optimizer type, and epoch count through iterative experimentation, thereby maximizing the model’s ability to generalize across both static and temporal data domains. The model was trained using image datasets representing three traditional dances (Gambyong, Remo, and Topeng), and subsequently tested on segmented frames extracted from YouTube videos. Results indicate strong model performance, achieving 99.67% accuracy on the training set and 100% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score across all testing videos. The proposed method successfully bridges the gap between still-image learning and real-world motion recognition, making it suitable for practical applications in digital archiving and cultural documentation. This study’s contribution lies not only in the model’s technical effectiveness but also in its support for preserving intangible cultural assets through intelligent and automated video-based recognition. Future work may incorporate temporal modelling or multi-camera perspectives to further enrich motion understanding and extend the system to broader performance domains.

Abstract

Computer communication is done by first synchronizing one computer with another computer. This synchronization contains Data Packages which can be detrimental if done continuously, it will be categorized as an attack. This type of attack, when performed against a target by many computers, is called a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack. Technology and the Internet are growing rapidly, so many DDoS attack applications result in these attacks still being a serious threat. This research aims to apply the Threshold method in detecting DDoS attacks. The Threshold method is used to process numeric attributes so obtained from the logfile in a computer network so that data packages can be classified into 2, namely normal access and attack access. Classification results using the Threshold method after going through the fitting process, namely detecting 8 IP Addresses as computer network users and 6 IP addresses as perpetrators of DDoS attacks with optimal accuracy.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages innovation in various fields, including the field of disaster geographic information services. Lack of information on ambulance service providers is often the cause of delays in handling victims of natural disasters. Besides, the absence of information regarding the nearest route for ambulances to emergency service providers such as health centers and hospitals adds to the length of time for handling victims of natural disasters, resulting in increasingly severe victim losses, including life. This study aims to create a geographic information system that can be used to provide information on the location of the nearest ambulance service provider and emergency unit service. The system development research method uses the extreme programming method by implementing the Djikstra algorithm to determine the shortest route. This system testing process consists of testing the Djikstra algorithm and testing functionality using a usability scale. Djikstra's algorithm testing is done by comparing the results of calculating the shortest route for two location points with the results obtained when using the Google Maps application. The results of this test indicate that the system can display shorter routes than the routes generated by the Google Maps application. On the other hand, testing system functionality using the usability scale method to see system acceptance by users shows that the application can be used properly with a score obtained that is 77.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is encouraging innovation in various fields, including in the field of geographic disaster information services. The tsunami natural disaster is a serious threat to Cilacap district which has a fairly long coastline. When a natural disaster occurs, the first thing that victims of a natural disaster must do is take cover and look for the location that is considered the safest to save themselves. To increase community preparedness for potential tsunami risks, this research aims to develop evacuation location mapping using virtual reality technology in a 360 degree format specifically in Cilacap district. This research method has 2 stages, namely the literature study stage and the system development stage. The literature study stage begins with conducting direct observations and interviews with the Cilacap Regency BPBD. Meanwhile, the second stage is the system development stage which will be carried out using the extreme programming method which includes planning, designing, coding and system testing activities by implementing the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The result of this research is an application for mapping natural disaster evacuation locations with the test results using the SUS method getting a score of 81. The practical implication of this research is that it can be a basis for related parties to design and implement more effective disaster mitigation strategies in Cilacap district.

Abstract

The high similarity rate among undergraduate thesis titles has become a critical issue in maintaining the originality of academic work within higher education institutions. This study aims to develop an automated system for detecting title similarity by combining the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm with the Weighted Dice Similarity method. TF-IDF is used to assign weights to important words in the titles, while Weighted Dice Similarity measures the degree of similarity between titles based on the distribution and weights of these words. The study utilizes a dataset of 200 manually annotated thesis titles as ground truth. The analysis process includes preprocessing, word weighting, and similarity computation between titles. Experimental results show that the system achieves an accuracy of 94%, a precision of 66.67%, a recall of 81.3%, and an average Weighted Dice similarity score of 0.62. Although the precision score is relatively moderate, the combination of both methods is considered effective, as it captures both lexical structure and semantic similarity, capabilities that are not fully achieved when using a single method alone

Abstract

Yutuk, which is also known as undur - undur laut, is a typical souvenir from Widarapayung Wetan beach. The handling of yutuk before consumption by community groups processing yutuk is still in a simple way by soaking it in a bucket or tub. Depuration of yutuk or shellfish makes the dirt contained in the organs of the body come out and can reduce the heavy metal content contained therein. This Community Service activity aims to increase the education of yutuk processing groups to use the depuration method with a special yutuk tub with a recirculation system that uses natural filters such as ginger coral, zeolite and activated charcoal. The Community Service activity stage begins with interviews and field observations and then continues with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and then implements a yutuk depuration tub for the yutuk processing group in Widarapayung Wetan village. Through Community Service activity, the yutuk processing community groups are equipped with good and correct depuration techniques so that they can be achieved properly and the community can consume them safely and comfortably.
