Abstract

Penerapan pendekatan  STEAM (5E = engage, explanation, exploration, elaboration, evaluation) berbasis projek “Pendopo Joglo” bertujuan untuk: meningkatkan keterampilan 4C (critical thinking, creative, collaborative, communicative) dan kemampuan kreativitas matematis peserta didik kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Magelang. Aplikasi praktis dalam pembelajaran menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Magelang Semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2018 – 2019. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh berupa tes, lembar observasi, lembar kegiatan peserta didik, dan hasil produk projek. Peningkatan keterampilan 4C melalui lembar observasi dan peningkatan kemampuan kreativitas matematis melalui tes. Pada hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa keterampilan 4C peserta didik mengalami peningkatan sebesar 33,11% dari siklus I (51,27%) ke siklus II (84,38%). Dari hasil analisis kemampuan kreativitas matematis mengalami peningkatan rata-ratanya sebesar 5,8 dari siklus I (81,47) dengan ketuntasan 56,67% ke siklus II (87,27) dengan ketuntasan 83,33%. Pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan STEAM berbasis projek “Pendopo Joglo” dapat meningkatkan keterampilan 4C dan kemampuan kreativitas matematis.  The application of the STEAM approach (5E = engage, explanation, exploration, elaboration, evaluation) based on the project "Pendopo Joglo" aims to: improve 4C skills (critical thinking, creative, collaborative, communicative) and mathematical creativity abilities of class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 1 Magelang . The targets of this study were students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Magelang Semester 2 of the 2018-2019 academic year. The learning outcome data obtained were tests, observation sheets, student activity sheets, and project product results. Improving 4C skills through observation sheets and increasing mathematical creativity through tests. In the analysis, it was found that the 4C skills of students had increased by 33.11% from cycle I (51.27%) to cycle II (84.38%). From the results of the analysis of the ability of mathematical creativity has increased an average of 5.8 from cycle I (81.47) with 56.67% completeness to cycle II (87.27) with completeness 83.33%. Learning mathematics using the STEAM approach based on the "Pendopo Joglo" project can improve 4C skills and mathematical creativity abilities.

Abstract

Kreativitas menjadi topik penting para guru untuk mengelola pembelajaran yang dapat menyentuh kemampuan yang diperlukan pada abad 21. Sehingga aspek kreativitas menjadi hal penting yang perlu ditanamkan dalam setiap pembelajaran. STEM adalah pendekatan interdisipliner menuntut peserta didik mampu menganalisa dan berpikir kreatif dalam mengolah data dan menyelesaikan suatu masalah di kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis dan  sikap kreativitas peserta didik kelas VIIIA SMPN 1 Magelang melalui penerapan STEM. Aplikasi praktis dalam pembelajaran menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA semester 1 tahun 2018–2019. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh berupa lembar observasi sikap kreativitas dan lembar pekerjaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui lembar pekerjaan dan lembar penilaian diri sedangkan peningkatan sikap kreativitas diamati melalui lembar pengamatan. Pada hasil analisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif mengalami peningkatan rata-ratanya dari siklus I (75,17) dengan ketuntasan 43,33% ke siklus II (90,34) dengan ketuntasan 86,75%. Dari hasil analis didapatkan bahwa sikap kreativitas peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I (42,24%) ke siklus II (74,14%). Pembelajaran matematika melalui STEM dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan sikap kreativitas.Creativity is an important topic for teachers to manage learning that can touch the skills needed in the 21st century. So that aspects of creativity become important things that need to be embedded in every learning. STEM is an interdisciplinary approach requiring students to be able to analyze and think creatively in processing data and solving problems in everyday life. This study aims to: improve mathematical thinking skills and creativity attitudes of class VIIIA students of SMP 1 Magelang through the application of STEM. Practical application in learning uses two rounds of classroom action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity, observation, and reflection. The target of this study is VIIIA grade students in semester 1 of 2018–2019. Learning outcomes data obtained in the form of creativity attitude observation sheet and work sheet creative thinking ability. Increased ability to think creatively through worksheets and self-assessment sheets while increasing the attitude of creativity was observed through observation sheets. The results of the analysis of creative thinking ability have increased the average from the first cycle (75.17) with completeness of 43.33% to the second cycle (90.34) with 86.75% completion. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the creativity attitude of students had increased from the first cycle (42.24%) to the second cycle (74.14%). Learning mathematics through STEM can improve creative thinking skills and creativity.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the popularity of the internet have made e-learning an increasingly popular learning method to support the dissemination of knowledge in interactive e-learning systems. However, currently, multimedia content-based e-learning systems are still under-explored, and most e-learning system models are not yet adaptive. On the other hand, each student has a different learning style when interacting with the content presented to them. The challenges faced if adaptive e-learning is not implemented properly can lead to poor learning outcomes. In this study, a systematic literature review was conducted with the PRISMA framework to study adaptive e-learning. From this study, 6 potential literatures were obtained from 193 literatures in the initial search regarding the implementation of adaptive e-learning systems that can answer global challenges in the future. The main finding of this study is that adaptive e-learning is able to overcome educational gaps in the future because students are increasingly dependent on digital learning systems worldwide. Ease of internet access plays a major role in the emergence of a lifelong learning system that can support students' learning styles. The results of this study can be the basis for further research in detecting students' learning styles as a basis for developing learning materials to support distance learning.
