Abstract

This research discusses language taboos. Language taboo is defined as speech that is prohibited or refers to taboos in action, social or cultural. This research aims to examine the types of women's taboo language on the Instagram account @gitasav which raises the issue of childfree. This research uses the theory of types of language taboo from Timothy Jay which divides language taboo into 7 types. In this research, the focus is on the types of vulgar language taboos and insulting language taboos. The method of providing data used is the observation method using note-taking techniques. The data analysis method used is the matching method and the technique of asking comparisons (HBS) and comparing the main points (HBSP). The results of this research show that the use of taboo language, insults, is more dominant in the comments column of the @gitasav account as a form of disapproval of the childfree issue. In this research, 9 data on women's language taboos were found which were categorized into 3 data types of vulgar language and 6 data types of insults.

Abstract

This research discusses strategies for translating conceptual metaphors contained in Lana Del Rey's song lyrics. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the translation strategies of conceptual metaphors contained in Lana Del Rey's song lyrics. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive form. The data in this research are Lana Del Rey's song lyrics which contain conceptual metaphors about love. The data sources in this research are several Lana Del Rey songs. The data collection method in this research uses the lobservation method with note-taking techniques. This research uses data analysis methods by identifying and analyzing the meaning of conceptual metaphors about love contained in song lyrics based on Larson's theory about metaphor translation strategies and appropriate translations. The research results show that the use of translation strategies for conceptual metaphors about love in Lana Del Rey's songs is divided into three types, including (1) Translating metaphors from the source language into similes by adding the words "like" or "like", (2) Translating metaphors from the source language. the same source of metaphor in the target language, but accompanied by an explanation of its meaning, and (3) Translating the metaphor into a non-figurative expression. The most widely used translation strategy is to translate metaphors from the source language into similes by adding the words "like" or "like".

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the popularity of the internet have made e-learning an increasingly popular learning method to support the dissemination of knowledge in interactive e-learning systems. However, currently, multimedia content-based e-learning systems are still under-explored, and most e-learning system models are not yet adaptive. On the other hand, each student has a different learning style when interacting with the content presented to them. The challenges faced if adaptive e-learning is not implemented properly can lead to poor learning outcomes. In this study, a systematic literature review was conducted with the PRISMA framework to study adaptive e-learning. From this study, 6 potential literatures were obtained from 193 literatures in the initial search regarding the implementation of adaptive e-learning systems that can answer global challenges in the future. The main finding of this study is that adaptive e-learning is able to overcome educational gaps in the future because students are increasingly dependent on digital learning systems worldwide. Ease of internet access plays a major role in the emergence of a lifelong learning system that can support students' learning styles. The results of this study can be the basis for further research in detecting students' learning styles as a basis for developing learning materials to support distance learning.

Abstract

Keterlibatan siwa dalam pembelajaran telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam pendidikan abad-21. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan model cooperative learning terhadap keterlibatan siswa kelas XII dalam pembelajaran gama Buddha di SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey dan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0,596 sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa penggunaan model cooperative larning memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 59,6% terhadap keterlibatan siwa, sisanya 40,4% dipengaruhi faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 5,699 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0.05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model cooperative learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterlibatan siwa kelas XII dalam pembelajaran agama Buddha di SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang tindak tutur meminta yang terdapat dalam film pendek “Ruang Tunggu”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penggunaan tindak tutur meminta yang terdapat dalam film pendek “Ruang Tunggu”. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah dialog tokoh yang memuat tindak tutur meminta baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung yang terdapat dalam Film Pendek “Ruang Tunggu”. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah film pendek "Ruang tunggu" yang rilis di kanal YouTube KAI (@keretaapikita) pada tanggal 9 April 2024. Metode penyediaan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan berupa simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode padan dengan teknik dasar Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP), sedangkan teknik lanjutannya meliputi Teknik Hubung Banding Menyamakan (HBS) dan Teknik Hubung Banding Membedakan (HBB). Analisis data didasarkan pada teori tindak tutur meminta Searle & Vandervaken (1985), Yule (1996), dan Austin (1962). Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa tindak tutur meminta dalam Film Pendek “Ruang Tunggu” terbagi menjadi dua yaitu tindak tutur meminta langsung dan tindak tutur meminta tidak langsung. Tindak tutur meminta yang paling dominan adalah tindak tutur meminta secara tidak langsung. Adapun dalam penelitian ini tindak tutur meminta secara tidak langsung paling banyak digunakan pada ekpresi perfomatif ekplisit dan persiapan pertanyaan.
