Abstract

Learning using interactive learning multimedia is more effective and easy to understand by students so it can be used to increase students' motivation and thinking skills. Therefore, this study aims to produce media in the form of interactive learning multimedia that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.  This type of research is an R&D research using Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the small group test in this study were 10 students while the subjects of the large group test were 24 students. The object of this study is the quality of media in the form of interactive learning multimedia for social studies learning as seen from the results of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of media. The data collection instruments used in this study are using qualitative and quantitative approaches that include interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the study showed that 1) the results of the validation of media experts obtained very valid and material experts obtained very valid; 2) the results of the student response questionnaire obtained very practical and the results of the teacher response questionnaire obtained very practical; 3) The effectiveness of the media can be seen in the results of the t-test calculation where the sig value is 0.00 < 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of these acquisitions, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference after using interactive learning multimedia. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning multimedia using Canva is declared valid, practical, and effective to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan dikota mendapat perhatian khusus dengan sentuhan inovasi. Salah satu inovasi yang banyak dikembangkan didaerah perkotaan yakni hidroponik. Selain dapat digunakan pada lahan terbatas hidroponik ini juga dapat memperindah lokasi hijauan disuatu tempat. Asrama kampus 3 UM menjadi salah satu tempat yang perlu disentuh dengan hidropnik. Hal tersebut disebabkan untuk meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam bertanam hidroponik sayuran. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yakni penyuluhan, instalasi hidroponik, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pemberdayaan sayuran hidroponik dapat meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa asrama sebanyak 65% dan tingkat keterampilan sebanyak 75%. Abstract

Background: Improving the quality of educational services is essential for enhancing learning outcomes through the implementation of effective teaching methods. One such method is the Usmani method, traditionally employed in the instruction of reading, writing, and memorizing the Al-Qur'an. Originating from early Islamic scholars, the Usmani method is increasingly being overshadowed, despite its potential to significantly enhance student learning outcomes. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Usmani method in the context of TPQ Baabussalaam. Method: The research employs a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach, complemented by a quantitative analysis for data interpretation. Result: The findings indicate that the Usmani method has a substantial positive impact on student learning outcomes at TPQ Baabussalaam, as evidenced by measurable improvements in student performance. The stages of instruction following the Usmani method include the recitation of *Hadroh Fatihah*, prayer at the start of the lesson, preparation for students to engage with the material, repetition of previously learned content, explanation of new topics with examples, group training, individual training, and the delivery of moral messages, prayers, and greetings. Conclusion: The Usmani method proves to be an effective pedagogical approach, significantly enhancing student motivation and directly contributing to improved learning outcomes.
