Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku teks tematik “tema Permainan”. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (RD). Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Dissemination. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Tridadi yang berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) Penilaian dari ahli materi dan media terhadap buku teks tematik tema permainan ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi berkategori “sangat baik”, aspek penyajian berkategori “Sangat Baik”, aspek kebahasaan berkategori “Sangat Baik”, dan aspek kegrafikan berkategori “Sangat Baik”. Penilaian dari guru aspek kelayakan isi berkategori “Baik”, aspek penyajian “Sangat Baik”, aspek kebahasaan berkategori “Baik”, dan aspek kegrafikan berkategori “Baik”. (2) Respon siswa terhadap buku teks yang dikembangkan menunjukkan respons yang “Baik”, (3) Efektivitas buku teks tematik yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “Tinggi”, ditunjukkan dari rerata skor gain seluruh siswa kelas III dalam uji coba terbatas dan diperluas sebesar 0,71. Abstract

The purpose of research and development is to develop learning media for snakes and ladders based on QR Code material on the values of the Pancasila precepts with valid, practical and effective contents of love for the homeland for class V SD. This development uses the Research and Development (RD) method by following the Analize, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) steps. This research uses a type of pre-experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data using interviews, questionnaires and tests of student learning outcomes. This study involved 2 experts, one teacher, and 21 students. Material expert validation gets 88.2% results, media experts get 98.6% results, users get 100%. The practicality of the product by students and teachers obtained a result of 100% and the effectiveness of the product showed that there were differences before being given treatment and after being given treatment in the form of snakes and ladders media. This can be seen by using Paired Sample T Test with significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. The conclusion of this study is snakes and ladders learning media based on QR Code, material for the values of Pancasila precepts with love for the motherland character content for class V SD, according to the validator, very valid, practical for students and teachers, and effective in learning

Abstract

The lack of variety of innovative teaching materials in learning is a significant problem because it can cause students to feel bored and less enthusiastic and find it easier to concentrate when understanding the material. The impact is that student learning achievement, especially in social studies subjects covering types of business in the economic field, becomes low, while the level of student independence also decreases. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of e-modules for material on types of business in the economic sector by including elements of independent character. Its validity will be evaluated by experts and is expected to become a practical tool for teachers and students of class V SDN Kauman 02 Blitar City. It is getting an average score of 87.88% from material experts and an average score of 97.6% from media experts, with both categories being very valid. Meanwhile, the practicality test received an average score of 94.5% from teachers in the very practical category, 94.4% from small group assessments in the very practical category, and 95.4% from large group assessments in the very practical category. The effectiveness of the assessment on student learning achievement was evaluated through a t-test with the help of SPSS and produced a value of 0.000, which indicates that 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. These results indicate an increase in student learning achievement in class V of SDN Kauman 02 Blitar City using e-module learning media, which is proven by the average of pre-test and post-test learning results. Overall, based on research findings, e-modules with material on types of business in the economic field are considered feasible by experts and practical to be applied in learning activities to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Beban administrasi guru sering kali menguras waktu dan tenaga, sehingga guru sulit untuk fokus pada pengajaran. Selain itu, mereka juga harus menyiapkan rencana pelajaran, serta menyusun evaluasi dan laporan kemajuan belajar. Akibatnya, banyak guru merasa terbebani, sehingga mengganggu kualitas pengajaran yang mereka berikan kepada siswa. Di era digital saat ini hendaknya guru dapat memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi untuk membantu guru dalam mengembangkan konten pelajaran dan aktivitas belajar siswa yang menarik. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan panduan bagi guru untuk memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan sebagai alat bantu untuk mendesain pembelajaran seperti: mengembangkan konten pelajaran dan merancang aktivitas belajar siswa yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini berupa seminar dan workshop. Kegiatan terdiri dari sesi teori dan praktik langsung, yang melibatkan demonstrasi penggunaan kecerdasan buatan serta simulasi penerapannya dalam skenario pengajaran di kelas. Selain itu, dilakukan pula sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab untuk mengatasi kendala dan memperdalam pemahaman para guru mengenai teknologi tersebut. Kesimpulan dari hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menggunakan angket, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persepsi guru terhadap pemahaman dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan untuk membantu guru dalam mengembangkan konten dan aktivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Curriculum changes often give rise to new challenges. Therefore, in changing this curriculum, schools as implementers of the educational process are required to have a deeper understanding of the content and objectives of the new curriculum. The aim of this research is to determine: (1) the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka; (2) obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka; (3) teacher efforts to overcome problems related to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive methodology. The data collection process uses techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are: (1) The Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented at SDN 1 Gador for approximately two years in stages; (2) Teachers experience difficulties in making learning plans, choosing teaching methods and strategies that are appropriate for students, and designing assessment and evaluation instruments when implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka; (3) To overcome these problems, teachers use strategies such as discussing difficulties in KKG forums, making reflection journals, and making class agreements. Abstract

Bullying or harassment was a negative behavior involving the abuse of power or authority by individuals or groups with the aim of hurting others, which could lead to trauma. The aim of this research was to develop a reporting application called Student Helpcare to help reduce cases of bullying and harassment at the elementary school. This type of research was research and development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall development model, which consisted of ten stages including: information gathering and preliminary research; planning; initial product draft development; internal testing; revision; small-scale testing; revision; large-scale testing; final product revision; and dissemination. The instruments used were questionnaires, including product validation questionnaires given to media and language experts, practicality and effectiveness questionnaires given to teachers and students, and interview instruments given to the school principal, teachers, and students. The data collection stages in this research included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as supporting evidence. The results of the study explained that the developed application product met valid, practical, and effective criteria. This application product received a validity score from media experts of 4.93, categorized as very valid, and from language experts, a score of 4.54, also categorized as very valid. The practicality score of the product from teachers received an average of 4.65, categorized as very practical, and the practicality score from students received an average of 94.2%, also categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the product received an average score from teachers of 4.45, and from students an average score of 93.4%, indicating that the product developed was effective in reporting and receiving reports related to bullying or harassment in elementary schools.

Abstract

Lack of innovation in learning science in elementary schools is one of the problems in education because it can cause students to be passive and reduce interest in learning. In addition, it causes low learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills, especially in the material of the history of past kingdoms. The purpose of the study was to create digital comic learning media based on problem-based learning of the material of the legacy of past kingdoms to train students' critical thinking skills. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Subjects in the study included students and teachers of grade IV, material experts, and media experts. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Then, the collected data were analyzed in depth both qualitatively and quantitatively. Validity testing was carried out by material and media experts with a score of 4.7. The teacher response questionnaire scored 4.69, and the student response questionnaire got a percentage of 97.45%. The paired sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference before and after the use of digital comics. The effect size test showed that digital comic media had a high effect on the results of students' critical thinking skills, which were observed through learning outcomes. The study's conclusion shows that the use of digital comics on the material of past kingdoms is feasible, practical, and effective to use during the learning process and positively impacts critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a multiliteracy learning model based on Topeng Malangan literature to improve literacy culture and global diversity attitude in grade IV elementary school students. This study used the ADDIE research and development method, which involved fourth-grade students at SDN Talangagung 2 Kepanjen. Data were collected through expert validation, student and teacher responses, observation, and literacy skills tests. The results showed the model's effectiveness in improving students' literacy skills with a high level of interest (80-92.3%) and understanding of the material (84.6-86.67%). The model also successfully developed students' global diversity attitudes, with 80-92.3% reporting increased knowledge. Expert validation covering readability, material suitability, and learning aspects in elementary schools showed excellent results with scores of 90.90%, 88.33%, and 86.42%, respectively. The learning model received excellent effectiveness ratings, with 91.40% and 92.47% in the two classes studied. This research contributes significantly to developing innovative and contextualized Indonesian language learning strategies at the primary school level by integrating local wisdom and multiliteracy approaches to improve literacy skills and cultural understanding.

Abstract

Background: Improving the quality of educational services is essential for enhancing learning outcomes through the implementation of effective teaching methods. One such method is the Usmani method, traditionally employed in the instruction of reading, writing, and memorizing the Al-Qur'an. Originating from early Islamic scholars, the Usmani method is increasingly being overshadowed, despite its potential to significantly enhance student learning outcomes. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Usmani method in the context of TPQ Baabussalaam. Method: The research employs a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach, complemented by a quantitative analysis for data interpretation. Result: The findings indicate that the Usmani method has a substantial positive impact on student learning outcomes at TPQ Baabussalaam, as evidenced by measurable improvements in student performance. The stages of instruction following the Usmani method include the recitation of *Hadroh Fatihah*, prayer at the start of the lesson, preparation for students to engage with the material, repetition of previously learned content, explanation of new topics with examples, group training, individual training, and the delivery of moral messages, prayers, and greetings. Conclusion: The Usmani method proves to be an effective pedagogical approach, significantly enhancing student motivation and directly contributing to improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology is opening up new avenues for integrating artificial intelligence into education. However, there is a prevailing belief that the use of AI could impact students' problem-solving abilities. This research seeks to explore teachers' perceptions regarding the potential influence of artificial intelligence on these skills. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study involved a survey conducted with 57 participants. Data was collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal several key insights: (1) teachers generally agree that AI, particularly tools like ChatGPT, can enhance students’ engagement in problem-solving activities, (2) the primary challenge in implementing AI is navigating ethical concerns, and (3) students indeed benefit from the support of AI in problem-solving tasks, especially in the area of formulating solutions. These results underscore the importance of encouraging the integration of AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, into teaching methods in elementary schools. Such integration could foster a more interactive and adaptive development of students' problem-solving skills. Moreover, the positive views held by teachers about using AI in education serve as a solid foundation for creating training programs aimed at enhancing educators' knowledge and ability to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices.
