Abstract

Cirebon The research was aimed at describing and analyzing the concept of strategic planning implemented by State Islamic Higher College Cirebon including (1) State Islamic Higher College head›s recognition and understanding of the strategic planning concept, (2) formation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning, (3) implementation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning, and (4) control and evaluation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning. In this qualitative research with phenomenological approach, the researcher became the primary instrument. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display and data conclusion. Data validity was measured by stretching the time of the research, continuous observation, peer checking, suffcient reference, triangulation, and detailed explanation. The result reveals that (1) the Head of State Islamic Higher College Cirebon recognizes and understands the strategic planning concept through the process of analysis of several educational planning literature, from the expert planners, government, higher education, and internal study in State Islamic Higher College Cirebon. (2) The strategic planning is made by a team formed by Head of State Islamic Higher College Cirebon. Its process begins with strategic direction containing basic outlines of educational development strategy further translated by State Islamic Higher College as executor of education whose formula are in the form of master plan of development. (3) The implementation of the strategic planning in State Islamic Higher College begins with the socialization of the vision, mission, goal, and objective to be reached from the higher level to the lower one, like study program and the units. (4) The control and evaluation done by the Head of State Islamic Higher College in monitoring the implementation of the strategic planning is conducted continously both in a monthly meeting, accidentally meeting and every year to plan the budget of each Faculty, Departement, and non structural unit in State Islamic Higher College

Abstract

Pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon masih terdapat kekurangan seperti dari segi fasilitas dan pelayanannya, sehingga hal tersebut diduga menyebabkan kurangnya minat baca siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah, minat baca siswa dan pengaruh pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 70 siswa(i). Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data untuk mengetahui pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah dan minat baca siswa digunakan analisis deskriptif, untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa diolah dengan menggunakan teknik data regresi linear dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan sebaai berikut: (1) Pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon berada pada kategori baik karena berada pada interval 75%-100% dengan nilai 84%. (2) Minat baca siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon berada pada kategori baik karena berada padda interval 75%-100% dengan nilai 75,75%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengelolaan Perpustakaan sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa, dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikaan pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa yaitu sebesar 29% sedangkan sisanya 71% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi ketertarikan masyarakat untuk mendaftar ke sekolah, seperti sarana, faktor sumber daya manusia (SDM), dan faktor keunggulan sekolah, perlu diketahui oleh masyarakat. Salah satu langkah yang bisa ditempuh adalah melaui kegiatan promosi. Pasca Pandemi Covid 19, pemasaran melalui media digital menjadi hal yang banyak dilakukan oleh sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia, salah satunya sekolah yang berada di bawah naungan Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Multazam. Penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana manajemen marketing di Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Multazam dan bagaimana implementasi digital marketing di Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Multazam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.  Data-data yang didapatkan dari observasi dan wawancara direduksi, serta dideskripsikan secara objektif, kemudian ditarik kesimpulan secara benar dan logis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Multazam sudah mengenal manajemen pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Divisi Humas dan Dakwah, sekarang dikelola oleh Tim Media yang berada dibawah kesekretariatan Yayasan dan kepada Tim Panitia Rekrutmen Santri. Sedangkan implementasi digital marketing pada layanan jasa pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Multazam berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini berjalan cukup baik yang diindikasikan dengan implementasi semua sarana digital marketing kecuali pada sarana Affliate Marketing dan Email Marketing yang belum diterapkan.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan tradisional, khususnya di bidang keagamaan yang mana unsur utamanya adalah perseorangan seperti kyai dan ustadz yang di dalamnya terdapat karakter tersendiri dan merupakan fenomena khas Indonesia yang sudah terbukti eksistensi dan perannya di masyarakat sejak jaman penjajahan sampai sekarang. Pendidikan di pesantren bertujuan untuk mencetak generasi bangsa agar berkepribadian muslim sesuai dengan ajaran-ajaran agama Islam dan mengaplikasikannya pada aspek kehidupan serta menjadikan manusia yang berguna untuk agama, bangsa dan negara. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah yaitu: (1) Sarana prasarana pembelajaran belum sesuai standar, (2) Padatnya pembelajaran yang ada di Kurikulum Pesantren Modern Darussalam Gontor, (3) Banyaknya mata pelajaran yang diterima oleh santri. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen kurikulum pondok Pesantren Al-Madani Cikalong Kabupaten Majalengka. Adapun teori dalam penelitian ini dikutip dari beberapa sumber, salah satunya buku yang ditulis oleh Rusman (2009). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Peneliti melakukan analisis data menggunakan beberapa tahapan, yaitu:   reduksi data, penyajian data dan selanjutnya penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Perencanaan, yaitu menyiapkan tujuan, kalender program satu tahun mendatang, dan proses pembelajaran, (2) Pelaksanaan, meliputi kegiatan intra dan ekstra santri yang sangat bergantung pada pimpinan dan ustadz/ustadzah, (3) Evaluasi, yang dilaksanakan seminggu sekali dan objek dari evaluasi tersebut adalah santri dan para pengajar, (4) Faktor Pendukung dan Penghambat, yang mana terdapat pada setiap elemen.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Kurikulum, Pondok Pesantren, Santri, Pimpinan Pondok/Assatidz Pesantren is a traditional educational institution, especially in the religious field where the main element is individuals such as kyai and ustadz in which there is a separate character and is unique Indonesian phenomena that has proven its existence role in society since the colonial era until now. Educational in Islamic boarding schools aims to print the nation’s generation so that it has a muslim personality in accordance with the teachings of Islam and applies it to aspects of life and makes humans useful for religion, nation, and state. This research has a problem formulation, namely: (1) learning infrastructure is not up to standard, (2) The density of learning in the curriculum of the modern Islamic boarding school Darussalam Gontor, (3) The number of subjects received by students. This study also aims to determine how the curriculum management of Al-Madani Islamic boarding school Cikalong, Majalengka Regency. As for the theory in this study, it was quoted from several sources, one of which was a book written by Rusman (2009). This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Researchers conducted data analysis using several stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions/verification. As for the results of this study, namely: (1) Planning, namely preparing goals, program calender for next year, and learning process, (2) Implementation, including intra and extra student activities that are very dependent on the leadership and ustadz/ustadzah, (3) Evaluation, which is held once a week and the objects of the evaluation are students and teachers, (4) Supporting and inhibiting factors, which are found in each element.Keywords: Curriculum Manajement, Islamic Boarding Schools, Students, Leader of Islamic boarding schools/assatidz

Abstract

The role of the principal is a significant factor in improving the quality of learning, so that if the role of the principal is good the school's success will be achieved. The problem in this study is the Implementation of Academic Supervision of School Principals as an Effort to Improve Learning Quality has not been carried out optimally due to the busy schedule of principals and the readiness of teachers in receiving supervision conducted by school principals. This study aims to find out more about the Implementation of Academics Supervision of School Principals in an Effort to Improve the Quality of Learning in SDN 1 Orimalang. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were the principal, teachers, and TU staff. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity is done through a credibility test. Data analysis using an interactive model has four stages namely the stage of data collection, the reduction stage, the display stage, and the stage of drawing conclusions or verification. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Implementation of School Principal Academic Supervision as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Learning in SDN 1 Orimalang has gone well, planned, and scheduled. Academic supervision is carried out using individual and group techniques such as class visits, class observations, meetings, private conversations, seminars / workshops, and upgrading. Keywords: Academic Supervision, Principal, Learning Quality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of school principals in improving teacher competence through an in-house training program at MA NU Putra Buntet Islamic Boarding School, Cirebon Regency. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method through data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, in-depth observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of this study, the role of the principal is as an educator, manager, supervisor, leader, and motivator. The supporting factors are human resources, IT facilities, and special in-house training rooms. The inhibiting factor is the teacher's motivation, the teacher still uses the old style of teaching, and the teacher's lack of discipline. The results achieved were increasing human resources, improving teacher performance, creating interaction between teachers, increasing motivation, and a sustainable culture.Keywords:The Role of The Peincipal, Teacher Competency , In House Training

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang penerapan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan para bawahannya yang ada di MTs An-nidhomiyah Japura Kidul Kecamatan Astanajapura Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurang maksimalnya proses komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah kepada para bawahannya sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan semangat dan motivasi kerja para bawahannya yang ada di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah seperti wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisi data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kepala sekolah yang kurang tegas dalam memberikan tugas kepada bawahannya menjadikan para bawahannya memiliki semangat kerja yang menurun. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Peranan kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan komunikasi interpersonal dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja tenaga kependidikan, baik komunikasi dalam bentuk verbal maupun non verbal, 2) Penghargaan dan hukuman yang dapat membentuk motivasi kerja bawahannya menjadi meningkat, 3) Motivasi dan pengawasan yang diberikan kepala sekolah kepada bawahannya dapat menjadikan produktifitas hasil kerja yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kepemimpinan, Motivasi KerjaThis study aims to determine the application of the headmaster’s interpersonal communication with employees at MTs An-nidhomiyah Japura Kidul, Astanajapura District, Cirebon Regency. This research is based on the inadequate interpersonal communication process of headmaster to the employees so this causes a decrease in spirit and works motivation of school employees. The research method used was qualitative, through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The technique of data analysis using descriptive qualitative include data reductions, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The spirit and motivation of employees according to the lack of assertiveness from the headmasters. The results of this study are 1) The role of the headmaster in implementing interpersonal communication can intensify the work motivation of employees, both verbal and non-verbal communication, 2) Rewards and punishments that can intensify employee motivation, 3) Motivation and supervision given by the headmaster to employees can make work productivity. Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Leadership, Work Motivation  Â
