Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) in efforts to protect islamic banking consumers (customers) against the possibility of exoneration clauses in agreements. This research uses literature study with various references to journals, books and several articles. Library research is research carried out by collecting data and theoretical foundations by reviewing various books, scientific works and previous research related to this research. The research results obtained show that consumer protection against exoneration clauses is classified in two forms, namely preventive and recessive. In the context of preventive protection, the Sharia Penasaw Council, with its various authorities and duties, has a very important role in preventing the use of exoneration clauses in islamic banking

Abstract

The expanding development of Islamic banking necessitates that every Islamic bank has the best strategies to market its products. This is why Bank Muamalat KH. Mas Mansyur has chosen a market mapping strategy. The market segmentation targets the Islamic business segment. This strategy is selected based on the large Muslim population in Indonesia, which is currently the majority. The research problem is centered on the funding strategy within the Islamic business segment to enhance third-party fund collection at Bank Muamalat KH. Mas Mansyur Surabaya, as well as analyzing the implementation of this strategy. The aim of this study is to understand the funding strategy applied by Bank Muamalat KH. Mas Mansyur Surabaya in the Islamic business segment to increase third-party fund collection. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with a field research approach. The researcher will directly engage in fieldwork to conduct observations and data collection. The data will be sourced from both primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques will include interviews with several informants, observations and documentation. The analysis process will begin with data collection, followed by data reduction to select key information, presentation of the data, and finally drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that the strategy currently implemented by Bank Muamalat KH. Mas Mansyur Surabaya, which is market mapping in the Islamic sector, is an appropriate strategy for funding product marketing at the bank. However, the increase in third-party funds is still somewhat fluctuating and faces several challenges in practice.

Abstract

Spiritualisasi dalam praktik ekonomi Islam semakin dibutuhkan di tengah maraknya praktik ekonomi yang legalistik namun kehilangan substansi etis dan spiritual. Munculnya model-model keuangan dan ekonomi syariah yang hanya menekankan kepatuhan formal terhadap akad-akad syariah tanpa membangun kesadaran spiritual pelaku ekonominya telah melahirkan fenomena paradoks: praktik ekonomi syariah yang tidak sepenuhnya mencerminkan nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini menawarkan pengembangan Spiritual Love Commitment Model (SLCM) sebagai model komitmen ekonomi spiritual yang berbasis pada relasi transendental antara manusia dan Tuhan sebagaimana tergambar dalam QS. Al-Taubah ayat 111. Model ini dikembangkan melalui pendekatan transformasi spiritual dalam tasawuf klasik: takhalli (pengosongan dari sifat tercela), tahalli (penghiasan dengan sifat terpuji), dan tajalli (penyingkapan cahaya Ilahi). Dengan metode kualitatif-konseptual, artikel ini menyusun kerangka integratif antara tasawuf dan ekonomi Islam, untuk menawarkan paradigma baru dalam praksis ekonomi Islam yang tidak hanya syar’i secara formal, tetapi juga bermuatan spiritual dan transendental. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi SLCM dengan konsep takhalli-tahalli-tajalli dapat menjadi kerangka transformasi bagi pelaku ekonomi menuju maqam spiritual, di mana aktivitas ekonomi menjadi sarana penghambaan dan komitmen eksistensial kepada Allah

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Easy Wadiah Savings products at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Sidoarjo Krian Branch Office (KCP) according to DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 02/DSN- MUI/IV/2000. This product uses the wadiah yad dhamanah contract, which is a fund deposit contract where the bank guarantees the security of funds without providing a guarantee of return. The approach used in this study is qualitative using case studies, interviews with the bank, namely Customer Service and customers, and examination of related documents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of this product is in accordance with sharia principles as stated in the fatwa, as evidenced by the absence of interest, the existence of voluntary incentives from the bank, and the ease for customers to access their funds. However, there are still several obstacles because the public's understanding of the concept of the wadiah contract is still limited. Therefore, efforts are needed to educate and increase knowledge of sharia finance.

Abstract

Abstrak Masjid memiliki peran strategis dalam pengelolaan dana sosial umat, namun masih banyak masjid yang menghadapi tantangan dalam hal pencatatan dan pelaporan keuangan yang akuntabel. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengurus masjid Muhammadiyah dalam mengelola dana zakat, infaq, dan shodaqah secara transparan melalui metode pendampingan langsung. Empat masjid di wilayah Surabaya menjadi mitra kegiatan ini yakni masjid Baiturrahman, masjid Baiturrahim, Masjid Syaifunnur dan Masjid Sholihin. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, sosialisasi di lapangan, pendampingan teknis pencatatan dan pelaporan, hingga publikasi laporan kepada jamaah. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keteraturan pencatatan, penyusunan laporan keuangan, serta partisipasi jamaah terhadap dana sosial. Pengurus masjid yang semula tidak memiliki sistem pencatatan mulai menerapkan praktik keuangan sederhana yang tertib dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Metode pendampingan langsung terbukti efektif dalam konteks masjid dengan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan teknologi. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat tata kelola dana sosial dan mendorong peran masjid sebagai pilar pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Kata kunci: dana social; masjid; pencatatan keuangan; pendampingan; partisipasi jamaah. Abstract Mosques have a strategic role in managing the social funds of the people, but there are still many mosques that face challenges in terms of accountable financial recording and reporting. This service activity aims to increase the capacity of Muhammadiyah mosque administrators in managing zakat, infaq, and shodaqah funds transparently through direct mentoring methods. Four mosques in the Surabaya area are partners in this activity, namely the Baiturrahman mosque, the Baiturrahim mosque, the Syaifunnur Mosque and the Sholihin Mosque. The approach used includes problem identification, socialization in the field, technical assistance in recording and reporting, and publication of reports to pilgrims. The results showed a significant increase in the regularity of recording, preparation of financial statements, and the participation of pilgrims in social funds. Mosque administrators, who originally did not have a recording system, began to implement simple financial practices that were orderly and accountable. The direct mentoring method has proven to be effective in the context of mosques with limited human resources and technology. This activity makes a real contribution in strengthening the governance of social funds and encouraging the role of mosques as a pillar of economic empowerment of the people. Keywords: social funds; mosque; financial records; mentoring; congregation participation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies in improving Easy Wadiah Savings products at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Rungkut 1. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through direct interviews with the bank as well as related documentation and literature. The results of the study indicate that BSI KCP Rungkut 1 has implemented a marketing strategy based on a marketing mix (7P), which includes products, prices, places, promotions, processes, human resources, and physical evidence. Strategies such as direct reward programs, QRIS cashback promotions, customer education, and community approaches have proven effective in attracting customer interest, especially micro segments such as housewives, students, and MSMEs. The main obstacles faced are low sharia financial literacy and competition with conventional banks. Therefore, increasing community-based literacy and optimizing local digital marketing strategies are important recommendations to strengthen the competitiveness of Easy Wadiah Savings products. This study is expected to be a reference for sharia financial institutions in designing more effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to answer the question regarding how to implement sharia compliance supervision at BPRS Amanah Sejahtera Gresik. The type of research used is field research using qualitative methods with a prospective case study approach (Prospective Case Study) and described descriptively. The research results obtained show that sharia supervision at BPRS Amanah Sejahtera Gresik is generally carried out in 2 ways. First, every new product/activity that will be launched. Second, supervision is also carried out on products/activities that have been launched. Both forms of supervision are carried out in several stages which have been adapted to applicable regulations

Abstract

This paper describes the importance of sad al-dzari'ah in determining Islamic law, especially in relation to the business-economy world which tends to be dynamic. Sadd al-dzari'ah is a legal instrument in Islam that is good if it is applied properly, in accordance with the rules of syara '. It can be a tool that can be used to create the benefit of the people and prevent it from being damaged. One example that can be seen in seeing the importance of sadd al-dzariah in the national legal system is the application of the actio paulina principle, the regulations of which can be found in Articles 1341 and 1061 of the Civil Code and Articles 41 to 47 of the bankruptcy law. However, as it plays a very important role in the search for law, on the one hand sadd al-dzari'ah can also be something negative.
