Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Blooket-based gamification media on student learning outcomes and to compare its effectiveness with Google Form media. The research method employed is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, involving an experimental group using Blooket media and a control group using Google Form media. Data were collected through pretest and posttest with 9 items to assess student learning outcomes. The results show that Blooket media significantly improved student learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that Blooket media can effectively enhance cognitive learning outcomes and can be used as an innovative alternative in gamification-based learning.

Abstract

Education requires an innovative approach to improve students' thinking skills, one of which is through the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) method. The researcher's aim in conducting this research was to find out how the implementation of the self-directed learning method improves students' thinking skills at SMA Fatahillah Jakarta.This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation involving grade XI students and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that students' critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills increased after the application of the SDL method. Students are given autonomy to choose teaching materials, set learning objectives, and choose the right learning resources, which fosters greater independence, responsibility, and motivation in learning. The application of the SDL method shows a positive impact on the development of students' high-level thinking skills at SMA Fatahillah Jakarta.

Abstract

Islamic religious education is a learning process that aims to apply or realize Islamic teachings and values in everyday life. This is in line with research that shows that Islamic religious education is a conscious effort made by educators to foster and guide students in schools so that after completing their education they are able to understand, appreciate, and practice Islamic teachings. The research method used with descriptive qu alitative methods through field research and data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews and documentation and through triangulation analysis. The results showed that the Islamic Religious Education Curriculum at An-Nurmaniyah Tangerang High School has a significant impact on character development and understanding of students' Islamic values. With a more flexible approach, this curriculum allows students to be actively involved in the learning process which can strengthen students' faith and morals. Religious education plays an important role in Indonesia's educational landscape. This type of education focuses on character development, especially the cultivation of Akhlakul Karimah (noble character) in students, which is an important foundation for the development of moral and personal integrity. However, faith-based education not only contributes to students' character building, but also encourages the development of positive traits and performance in teachers,which in turn contributes to increased satisfaction with teachers' teaching effectiveness

Abstract

This study examines the effects of interactive media (PowerPoint, YouTube, Kahoot, Canva) on student engagement and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Muhammadiyah 12 Senior High School, Jakarta. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected via semi-structured interviews with two teachers and four students, supplemented by document analysis. Results indicate that 83% of students exhibited heightened motivation and comprehension, particularly through videos and gamification, aligning with the TPACK framework. However, 67% encountered technical barriers (e.g., unstable Wi-Fi, limited data quotas), while teachers noted infrastructural and digital literacy constraints. The study highlights the potential of multimedia to clarify abstract concepts and promote student-centered learning, contingent on addressing technical gaps. Recommendations include institutional investments in Wi-Fi infrastructure, device provision, and teacher training, in line with Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar policy. It calls for standardized PAI digital resources and digital pedagogy integration in teacher certification. Future research should explore scalability across rural-urban contexts.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the capacity and role of Muhammadiyah branches in empowering the community in Pisangan Baru, Jakarta through structural development and strengthening the skills of cadres. Muhammadiyah branches as the most advanced organizational structure facing the community have a strategic role in driving da'wah, social, and educational activities in the community. However, obstacles such as limited human resources, minimal cadre training, and low community participation often hinder program optimization. The methods of this activity include managerial training, routine mentoring, focus group discussions (FGD) to identify community needs, and evaluation to assess the effectiveness of activities. The results of the activity showed an increase in the managerial and communication skills of cadres, improvements in the organizational structure of the branch, and increased community participation in various activities initiated by Muhammadiyah branches. The obstacles faced included limited time for cadres and the fact that there were still people who did not understand the role of Muhammadiyah branches. Overall, this activity succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of Muhammadiyah branches in empowering the community, Consistent follow-up is needed to maintain the sustainability of the program and strengthen the synergy between Muhammadiyah branches and the community in Pisangan Baru, Matraman East Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of Gimkit media as a gamification assessment tool in PAI learning on student learning outcomes and (2) determine the difference in student learning outcomes between Gimkit media and Google Forms media. The research method used was a quasi-experimental nonequivalent group design. The sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class of 35 students each at As-Syafi'iyah 01 Islamic High School in Jakarta. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test questions and analysed using descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of Gimkit media in improving students' learning outcomes significantly with a value of 0.000 <0.05 and the average difference in learning outcomes between Gimkit and Google Forms media with a value of 85.71 and 76.86. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Gimkit media has an effect on improving student learning outcomes and Gimkit can be used as a medium to improve the quality of PAI learning. This research adds to the literature on the effectiveness of gamification in education and opens up opportunities for further research in other subjects or in different learning contexts.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan agama Islam adalah membentuk akhlak peserta didik menjadi mulia. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya dampak buruk yang diakibatkan oleh kebebasan tanpa batas pada remaja yang sedang duduk di bangku sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi nilai ghaddul bashar dalam menjaga kerukunan santri di MA Al-Ikhwan Topoyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, kegiatan belajar santri, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan nilai ghaddul bashar di madrasah aliyah Al-Ikhwan Topoyo telah diterapkan dengan baik dan mampu menjadi solusi dalam menjaga hubungan antara santri dengan santriwati. Program-program maupun kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh madrasah aliyah Al-Ikhwan Topoyo seperti mewajibkan berbusana syar'i, membatasi ruang interaksi, melarang komunikasi antara santri dengan santriwati, dan gerakan menundukkan pandangan terhadap lawan jenis menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam menjaga hubungan antara santri dengan santriwati . .

Abstract

This research aims to create the 8+i link and match model as an embodiment of a healthy learning ecosystem between schools and the worlds of business and industry. The research technique is a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The qualitative technique develops a basic list of success characteristics using meta-ethnography, whereas the quantitative approach defines the link between the variables under examination by establishing or building many latent variables that explain the relationship between variables using Aiken's formula and SPSS version 26. The study's findings demonstrate the success of the 8+i link and match model between Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat vocational high school/Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat and industry in generating efficiency and mutual benefits for both parties, not just ordinary collaboration, but intense collaboration from the curriculum development, learning, and industrial work practices designed collaboratively. The Implication of the 8+i link and match model if correctly implemented is that the industry will profit because the training expenses is reduced, and vocational high schools will benefit because their graduates is absorbed by the industry. Recommendations for the vocational high school curriculum must include schools, and industry, also Teaching personnel must include practitioners from industry as well as instructors from schools.
