Abstract

Abstract

Brick is a building material component used for walls and is made simply from a mixture of Portland cement, sand and water with or without additives. In addition, the manufacture of brick also uses fly ash to improve the quality of the brick. This research was conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah North Maluku, the research period was 3 months from November 2024 - January 2025. The data obtained in the field and from the results of the literature are primary and secondary data as follows: 1. Primary data: Field observation data, Interview data, Sampling, Documentation data. Secondary data is data obtained indirectly at the research location which can be through raw data or references obtained from journals or supporting documents related to the research in question. The addition of 10% fly ash has a compressive strength value at the age of 21 days of concrete of 0.35 Mpa and 28 days of 0.36 Mpa. The addition of 15% fly ash has a compressive strength value at the age of 21 days of concrete of 0.29 Mpa and 28 days of 0.28 Mpa. The addition of 20% fly ash has a compressive strength value at the age of 21 days of concrete of 0.27 Mpa and 28 days of 0.21 Mpa. The results of the research conducted showed that the addition of fly ash had no effect on the manufacture of concrete blocks, because the more fly ash used, the smaller the resulting compressive strength so that it did not meet the compressive strength of concrete with K-175 quality. The addition of fly ash with a percentage of 10%, 15% and 20% did not affect the compressive strength of K-175 concrete because the average compressive strength produced at a percentage of 10%, 15% and 20% did not meet the planned compressive strength of 14.50 Mpa.

Abstract

The results of time and cost optimization in this studyusing the alternative of adding working hours resulted in a total completion time of 182days, which is 14 (7.14%) days faster than the normal time of 196 days, with a total project cost ofRp. 1,767,600,000.00, resulting in a cost efficiency of Rp. 232,559,067.27(12.62%). Meanwhile, using the alternative of adding manpower resulted in a totalcompletion time of 179 days, which is 17 (8.67%) days faster than the normal time witha total project cost of IDR 1,767,600,000.00, achieving a cost efficiency ofRp.7,870,582.09 (0.44%). Therefore, time and cost efficiency with the addition ofworking hours is more economical. The implications of this research provide recommendations for project managersin making decisions to accelerate work so that it is efficient in terms of time and cost.

Abstract

arking facilities are locations designated as parking spaces for motorized vehicles and non-motorized vehicles. Campus parking is an area used to park vehicles within the campus environment. The reason this research was carried out was in order to organize parking activities in an orderly manner. With the designated parking slots, drivers will be expected to park their vehicles neatly in the slots provided. Before determining the size of the parking slot, researchers considered the average size of the vehicle. The distance between parking slots or free space must at least be able to accommodate vehicles of standard size so that the vehicle can be easily parked and reused and does not experience friction with other vehicles when carrying out parking activities. Researchers also consider the type and number of vehicles, which is done so that researchers can determine the number of planned parking slots to anticipate problems with parking capacity. The object of this research is aimed at the parking location, where there are 2 parking locations planned for parking slots, namely planning a parking slot for the student parking lot which is located behind the study room which is specially made for motorbikes and a small parking lot which is located to the right of the lecturer parking lot, planning two parking slots. for cars and two slots also for motorbikes, while the measurement process results were obtained for small parking lots through the measurements we carried out, namely, the overall length of the car park is 750cm consisting of 2 spaces, each space has a length of 375cm. Each space can accommodate 1 parking slot. with a size of 250cm for cars and 1 parking slot measuring 105cm. Free space in planning student parking slots is given on the right and left sides, namely 5 cm each. This greatly influences activities in the parking lot. This free space is provided to provide space in the parking slot area, for parking slots that are narrow or without free space can disrupt the parking process when entering or leaving. In this planning, researchers can conclude that parking activities that do not follow the rules often result in vehicles crowding in the parking lot, and creating parking slots in the parking lot will greatly affect parking flow and parking facilities should be equipped with several items to increase security, such as installing appropriate lighting. appropriate and supervised

Abstract

One of the physical development programs implemented in Mafututu Village in the 2024 Fiscal Year is the Footpath Construction Project. This project is funded through the Mafututu Village Budget Implementation Document (DPA) as part of efforts to improve accessibility and mobility for communities in coastal areas. Specifically, this project was entrusted to the implementing contractor CV. Mafututu Indah with a total contract value of IDR 119,895,457.29 (One Hundred Nineteen Million Eight Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Seven Rupiah Twenty-Nine Sen). In accordance with the Work Agreement Letter (SPK), the project implementation period is set at ninety (90) calendar days, starting from the issuance of the Work Commencement Order (SPMK), with the aim of ensuring that the construction of this footpath is completed on time and can be immediately utilized by the residents of Mafututu Village. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a case study approach on the Footpath Construction Project in Mafututu Village. Primary data was collected through field observations and interviews with respondents from the Public Works Agency, project owners, workers, the village government, and the community. The performance variables measured included quality (work quality) and cost (budget efficiency).
