Abstract

Penelitian berfokus pada objek pedagang pakaian etnis Bugis di Miri Serawak. 1. Bagaimana fenomena ekonomi pedagang etnis Bugis yang berjualan di Miri Serawak Malaysia. 2. Faktor-faktor apa penyebab pedagang pakaian etnis Bugis berjualan di Miri Serawak Malaysia. 3. Apa kendala yang dihadapi pedagang pakaian etnis Bugis berjualan di Miri Serawak Malaysia. Metode penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1. Fenomena pedagang Etnis Bugis berjualan pakaian di Miri Serawak Malaysia seperti pada aspek pendapatan yang diperoleh sudah lebih baik. 2. Faktor penyebab pedagang pakaian etnis Bugis yang berjualan di Miri Serawak Malaysia yakni faktor ekonomi, kemudahan akses perjalanan, kemudahan berjualan dikebun serta akses komunikasi antar para pedagang. 3. Kendala yang ditemui jika kendaraan bermasalah, kondisi hujan membuat medan ladang rusak membuat pengunjung malas datang belanja di ladang dan cukup ketatnya izin. Kata Kunci: Fenomena Ekonomi, Pedagang, Etnis Bugis.
