Abstract

Beton merupakan bahan konstruksi yang banyak digunakan saat ini. Semakin berkembangnya konstruksi beton saat ini maka harga pasir gunung (agregat halus) semakin mahal, sehingga perlu penggantian pasir gunung untuk mengurangi penggunaan pasir gunung sebagai komponen utama beton tanpa mengurangi spesifikasi. Parameter beton khususnya nilai kuat tekan beton. Sebagai penggantinya yaitu pasir giling, pasir yang dihasilkan dari batu digiling hingga menjadi butiran pasir oleh Stone Crusher. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh nilai kuat tekan beton dengan membandingkan dua jenis pasir yaitu pasir Galunggung dan pasir giling. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan memenuhi kebutuhan agregat halus di wilayah Garut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Metode ini membuat beberapa variasi, yaitu campuran beton pasir Galunggung sebanyak 9 buah, campuran beton pasir giling sebanyak 9 buah dengan umur beton 7 hari, 21 hari, dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian uji kuat tekan beton yang diharapkan adalah 20,75 MPa, hasil uji kuat tekan beton menggunakan pasir giling pada hari ke 28 adalah 26,91 MPa, untuk beton menggunakan pasir Galunggung diperoleh nilai pada hari ke 28 adalah 25,02 MPa. Hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbandingan kedua jenis pasir yang diteliti dapat mencapai kekuatan yang diharapkan. Pasir giling Leles bisa digunakan sebagai pengganti pasir dari Gunung Galunggung. Kata Kunci: Beton, Kuat Tekan, Pasir Giling

Abstract

Project control is a crucial management activity, especially given the complexity of project-related issues. Effective management is needed to ensure that projects, such as the improvement of the Patrol-Palintang road in Bandung Regency, adhere to the planned schedule. The objective of this research is to assess cost and time performance using the Earned Value Management (EVM) method. The data utilized in this study includes the Budget Plan (RAB), S-Curve, Time Schedule, and Weekly Reports. The analysis results from the Earned Value Management method indicate that the time performance is less than one (SPI < 1), with an average SPI value of 0.929. This means that the time performance is poor, indicating delays in project completion relative to the planned schedule. Conversely, the cost performance index is above one, with an average CPI value of 1.0014. This indicates excellent cost performance, as the actual costs incurred are lower than the earned value, demonstrating no wastage of resources.

Abstract

Dam Ir. H. Djuanda is one of the important infrastructures in managing water resources in Indonesia, with strategic functions such as flood control, irrigation, hydroelectric power plants (PLTA), and raw water supply. The lower channel (tailrace) plays a crucial role in supporting the efficiency of the dam's hydraulic system. However, previous inspections revealed erosion and exposed aggregate in the tailrace concrete layer which could threaten the stability of the structure. This research aims to evaluate the condition of the tailrace structure of Dam Ir. H. Djuanda. An evaluation was carried out by integrating the NDT method using Schmidt Hammer and numerical simulation via Plaxis 2D software. The Schmidt Hammer test data gives an average concrete quality value of 37.47 MPa, while the Plaxis 2D simulation shows that the Cartesian stress ( ,  and ) on the structure is still within safe limits. The simulation results also show a safety factor value of 1.795, which meets the structural safety criteria. These findings indicate that the tailrace concrete was designed with a high safety factor, so that it can withstand hydrostatic loads and ground pressure even though it has been in operation for more than five decades. This research shows that the combination of NDT and numerical simulation is an effective method for evaluating structural conditions without damaging the material. This approach can be adopted to inspect and maintain similar infrastructure to ensure long-term operational stability and sustainability.

Abstract

In recent decades, the risk of flooding in the Cipunagara River area has increased due to global climate change causing more extreme rainfall patterns. The planned construction of the Patimban Port Access Toll Road has a strategic role in supporting national logistics connectivity. However, the geographical location of the planned toll road in the lowlands near the Cipunagara River poses a significant risk to the sustainability of the infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the risk of flooding in the Cipunagara River and its impact on the design of the toll road. Hydrological analysis was carried out using rainfall data from eight observation stations for the period 2012–2021. Analysis of frequency distribution, rainfall intensity and the Soil Conservation Services (SCS) Unit Hydrograph method was carried out to calculate peak flood discharge. Modeling was carried out using Surface Water Modeling System (SMS) software. The results of the study indicate that the Cipunagara River Basin (DAS) has high rainfall variability with the potential for extreme rainfall in large return periods. The peak discharge of the 100-year return period is 1003.582 m³/second, indicating the risk of extreme flooding because it exceeds the river capacity of 309.31 m³/second. The results of flood modeling show that the flood water level in the 100-year return period reaches +8,908 meters, which confirms the need for a minimum toll road infrastructure elevation of +9,908 meters to meet the vertical clearance standard. These findings provide a significant contribution to the planning of toll road infrastructure that is more resilient to flood risks, supports operational sustainability, and reduces potential economic losses.

Abstract

Sedimentation is the deposition of material carried by water media. The occurrence of sedimentation disrupts river flow, leading to increased susceptibility to flooding and drought during dry seasons. The impact of sedimentation causes riverbed siltation, reducing the river's capacity from its natural state. The Cariang Dam, located in Ujung Jaya Village, Ujung Jaya District, Sumedang Regency, is experiencing sedimentation issues. This has resulted in siltation and a decrease in the river's capacity at the dam site. In light of these issues, the researcher is interested in analyzing sedimentation at the Cariang Dam area. This analysis aims to determine the volume and height of sedimentation occurring annually. Based on the analysis conducted, the sedimentation height per day is found to be 0.7 centimeters, amounting to 23 centimeters per month and 276 centimeters annually.

Abstract

Development does not always have a positive impact on the life of an area. The level of development in general is always inversely proportional to sustainability. As evidence of the reduction in open green land because there have been many increases in the number of shopping centers, and hotels which are one of the means of city tourism. Or, long and sustainable impacts such as climate change and air temperatures and the depletion of groundwater supplies which results from the increasing number of residential developments that are part of the economic development of the people of Bandung. North Bandung area which is essentially a water catchment area and conservation area in the city of Bandung was not separated from the impact of the development. The construction of luxury residences, public facilities such as hotels and restaurants and other artificial natural attractions have been built on open green land, conservation areas and water catchment areas. At Kampung Lebaksiuh, Desa Ciburial, Sub-district Cimenyan, Kabupaten Bandung which is in the northern Bandung region, is one of the few indigenous settlements that still maintain the function of conservation and water catchment areas. With the various problems above, this community service activity aims to make a waterwheel as one of the educational tools for visitors, especially children who come to visit the Lebaksiuh Tourism Village, Desa Ciburial, Sub-district Cimenyan, Kabupaten Bandung.

Abstract

The location of Rumahku Hijau is located in Cikaret Village, Cipedes District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Rumahku Hijau is engaged in plant cultivation, manufacture of organic fertilizers, manufacture of organic pesticides. Rice fields and animal cultivation areas such as birds, rabbits, goats and others. During the visit there were several problems, namely landslides and it was difficult for farmers to bring their agricultural products to the barn, because of the location of the rice fields and barns which were separated by the Cidadap river. That way, in carrying out this community service, we want to design a simple steel bridge and use gabion to overcome landslides. It is hoped that farmers will not have to go around the Cidadap river to reach the barn and be safe from landslides.

Abstract

Terjadinya ketidakrataan permukaan jalan raya pada ruas jalan Rancaekek – Solokan Jeruk, Soreang - Gading Tutuka yang diakibatkan karena kendaraan bermuatan besar yang sering melewati ruas tersebut. Cara penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif yaitu pendekatan penelitian yang mengandalkan penggunaan angka-angka dalam segala tahapnya, mulai dari pengumpulan data hingga presentasi hasil. Dengan Data primer nya yaitu Pengambilan data menggunakan alat Roughmeter. Roughmeter digunakan untuk survey nilai ketidakrataan pada jalan raya dan memberikan hasil berikut ini: pada ruas jalan Rancaekek - Solokan Jeruk, nilai rata-rata ketidakrataannya sebesar 4,9% yang menunjukkan kondisinya sedang, sedangkan pada ruas Solokan Jeruk - Rancaekek, nilai rata-rata ketidakrataannya sebesar 5,2% yang juga menunjukkan kondisinya sedang. Pada ruas Soreang-Gading Tutuka, nilai rata-rata ketidakrataannya sebesar 4,9% yang berarti kondisinya sedang, dan pada ruas Gading Tutuka-Soreang, nilai rata-rata ketidakrataannya sebesar 4,6% yang juga menunjukkan kondisinya sedang
