Abstract

Abstract: About the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), numerous articles have discussed its impact, ranging from positive to negative effects. Although the majority of literature asserts that AI has a significantly positive impact, this research aims to evaluate and critically analyze these effects. The focus of this study is on the variables of critical thinking, the impact of AI on TEFL, and philosophical perspectives. This research employs a qualitative approach with document analysis methods, beginning with the selection of documents based on authenticity, credibility, representativeness, and meaning factors. The research findings support the positive effects of using AI in TEFL, emphasizing the improvement of students' English language skills in speaking and writing, particularly in terms of grammar. However, the research highlights the importance of specific conditions that must be met for these positive impacts to be achieved. A critical analysis of AI's impact on TEFL reflects the necessity of incorporating critical thinking in this research to avoid uncertainties. The study also explores philosophical views related to ontology, epistemology, and axiology. In the ontological perspective, AI aids students in understanding existence and reality in language learning, especially concerning vocabulary, phrases, and grammar. From an epistemological perspective, AI serves as a foundation for students' knowledge acquisition by presenting tailored learning materials and supporting a deep understanding of linguistics. Meanwhile, from the axiological perspective, the use of AI creates positive values such as accessibility, diversity, and equality in education.

Abstract

Philosophy always evolves over time. This relates to human critical thinking which is always interesting to learn. Philosophical thought, in this case Islamic philosophy, is based on the progress of thought during the time of the Abbasid State, at which time there was a large-scale translation of Greek classics. Some of the greatest philosophers namely al-Kindi, al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Ibn Rushd, and others contributed to the greatness of Islamic philosophical thought. Therefore, this article aims to describe and analyze the development of philosophical thought produced during the Abbasid State. This research was conducted using the literature method, looking for articles related to the topic. This type of research is a library research using qualitative descriptive methods. The steps taken by researchers in reviewing this research include collecting sources, commenting on sources, interpreting, and writing results. Philosophical thought in Islam produces thoughts about the concept of soul or reason, metaphysics, prophethood, morals or ethics, and the philosophy of happiness as the key and direction in solving life's problems.

Abstract

This journal tries to investigate the complexity of integration between Islam, science and Indonesian culture in the Walisongo era. This research explores the roots of local Indonesian wisdom by examining the central role of Walisongo in integrating these three aspects into community life. Through careful historical analysis, this journal reveals how the Walisongo era became the starting point for the formation of a unique cultural identity in the archipelago. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, with the type of library research. The results of this research illustrate the interaction between religious beliefs, scientific knowledge, and cultural heritage shaping Indonesian society in this historical period. This study provides in-depth insight into the important role of Walisongo in integrating Islamic values, science and local traditions which ultimately form the foundation of a rich and diverse culture in the archipelago.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran penting pendidikan Qur’ani dalam membentuk karakter dan moralitas individu serta mengembangkan masyarakat Islam yang harmonis dan sejahtera. Melalui pendekatan penelitian pustaka, studi ini mengeksplorasi berbagai metode pendidikan Qur’ani, termasuk pendidikan formal, nonformal, dan informal, yang bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai al-Qur’an ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Qur’ani tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman spiritual dan moral, tetapi juga memperkuat ikatan sosial dan budaya, membentuk etos kerja yang Islami, dan mendorong tata kelola pemerintahan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai al-Qur’an. Evaluasi efektivitas pendidikan Qur’ani dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan studi kasus. Tantangan utama seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi dapat diatasi melalui kerja sama antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat. Strategi pengembangan lanjutan mencakup inovasi dalam metode pengajaran, penggunaan teknologi, dan penguatan program berbasis komunitas. Secara kesimpulan, pendidikan Qur’ani yang holistik dan inklusif mampu memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang berkarakter, adil, dan sejahtera. Studi ini menekankan perlunya evaluasi berkelanjutan dan adaptasi program untuk memastikan relevansi serta dampak positif pendidikan Qur’ani dalam konteks yang lebih luas dan dinamis.
