Abstract

The exponential growth of technology has spurred innovation across a range of fields. This is also evident in the field of educational technology. A variety of studies are conducted to enhance the quality of education and foster meaningful learning. The objective of this research is to examine the potential of Minecraft as a learning tool. The methodology employed is that of a systematic literature review (SLR), which entails a library study flow designed to identify and review journals pertinent to the research topic. This process ultimately yields conclusions. The findings of the research indicate that Minecraft can be incorporated into a variety of subjects. The advantages of integrating Minecraft into learning strategies include enhanced collaboration skills, creativity, digital proficiency, peer tutoring, time management, and an immersive learning environment.   Keywords: Minecraft, Technology Development, Immersion, Quality Education

Abstract

Tugas akademik merupakan salah satu instrumen pendukung pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran yang harus dituntaskan oleh mahasiswa. Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan kegagalan dalam mengerjakan tugas akademik dalam kerangka waktu atau menunda mengerjakan tugas sampai tenggang waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan (1) mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab mahasiswa cenderung prokrastinasi dalam mengerjakan tugas, (2) memberikan solusi melalui cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dengan pengambilan random sampling yaitu 65 orang mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Daerah Cibiru. Pengukuran perilaku menggunakan skala Likert dengan berdasar pada indikator dan aspek prokrastinasi oleh Ferrari dkk. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan tingkat prokrastinasi oleh mahasiswa

Abstract

The development of education in the modernization era must coincide with the ability of various parties, including parents and teachers to jointly shape the character of children. Character education for children has a function as a provision for the future in facing modern life. Based on the initial observations that have been made by researchers, that seeing the conditions of the development of modernization that affect students' lives, among others, influences the shape of the character of the students themselves. The lack of instilling student character education in elementary schools underlies this research. Then, what is the role and application of teacher professional competence in character education in the modernization era for elementary school students. The research method used in this research is qualitative. Research that focuses on the most important aspects of an object. It involves understanding and exploring phenomena. Based on the presentation of the description it can be concluded that the teacher's professional competence in character building is an important factor that influences the achievement of a learning objective.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi di era saat ini tentunya mempengaruhi berbaga macam aspek dalam kehidupan manusia. Berkembangnya teknologi membawa berbagai macam dampak baik positif maupun negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan urgensi penguatan etika teknologi pada siswa untuk mengatasi dampak negatif dari penggunaan media sosial youtube shorts. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, masih ditemukannya pelanggaran etika digital disebabkan kurang pahamnya siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi dengan tepat. Kedua, literasi teknologi merupakan salah satu Gerakan serta upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanggulangi permasalahan terkait etika teknologi. Ketiga, memperkuat etika digital untuk menangani dampak negatif youtube shorts melalui literasi digital dimana orang tua dan guru melakukan upaya preventif dalam pencegahannya menunjukkan bahwa penting sekali pemahaman beretika dalam menggunakan teknologi upaya preventif tersebut dilakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. berdasarkan hasil literatur menunjukan bahwa upaya-upaya preventif yang dilakukan dapat mencegah dari dampak negatif youtube shorts pada siswa dan memberikan pemahaman terkait etika teknologi. Implementasi yang dilakukan guru untuk memperkuat etika digital siswa dilakukan secara beragam dengan menggunakan metode pembelajara, mencanangkan program literasi teknologi, menjadi role model, serta adanya program kelas cyber.

Abstract

The low interest in reading students in Indonesia is a concern for the government. The Ministry of Education and Culture continues to provide innovations to increase reading interest, especially for students. In the policy of the School Literacy Movement, Elementary School is one of the main implementing parts of the implementation as a provider of facilities, guidance, and infrastructure for students. Indeed, the School Literacy Movement in Elementary Schools has three stages or processes, namely (1) habituation; (2) Development; and (3) learning. Implementation carried out at each school will certainly experience different stages and programs implemented. Factors that influence this are the readiness of the school's physical capacity, the readiness of school residents, and the readiness of other support systems (Faizah et al., 2016). This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The activity in this research process is to collect research data that has been done regarding the implementation of the School Literacy Movement in Elementary Schools. The sources used for this research are the results of the analysis of books and journals related to the title of research on the School Literacy Movement. The data analysis technique used in this research is the reduction technique.
