Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2022. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan  metode plot, dimana petakan plot disusun sepanjang garis transek secara sistematik. This study used a purposive sampling method, which was carried out in January-February 2022. Sampling used the plot method, where plots were arranged systematically along transect lines. The samples obtained were then identified at the Bengkulu Muhammadiyah University Laboratory. The results of the study in the Konak Protection Forest, Kepahiang District, Kepahiang Regency, obtained 12 families which included 20 species, namely Araceae (Pothos scandens), Arecaceae (Calamus javensis, Korthalsia rigida), Asteraceae (Mikania micrantha), Basellaceae (Anredera cordifolia), Convolvulaceae (Merremia peltata).(Merremia vitifolia), Cucurbitaceae (Momordica charantia), Dioscoraceae (Dioscorea hispida, Dioscorea alata), Fabaceae (Calopogonium mucunoides, Centrosema pubescens, Psophocarpus tetragonolobus), Menispermoideae (Cycle barbata, Pericampylus galusia (Passiflora crispa), Passiflora Piperaceae (Piper nigrum, Piper retrofracrum), Schizaeaceae, (Lygodium flexuosum). Based on the species diversity index (H') of lianas in the Konak Protection Forest area, Kepahiang District, Kepahiang Regency, which is 1.211, and is included in the category of medium diversity. With temperatures ranging from 25°C-30°C, humidity between 55% - 89%, and light intensity ranging from 507 Lux – 2115 Lux.Keywords: diversity, liana, konak protected forest

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect on the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) Learning Model to Improve Student Biology Cognitive Learning Outcomes. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City in January-February 2022, with the population being all class X MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City and the samples were class X MIPA 2 (Experimental Class) and Class X MIPA 5 (Control Class). Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique with an experimental type of research design, namely prettest-posttest group design. With the technique of collecting data through tests, namely in the form of questions in the form of Essays totaling 5 questions. Cognitive learning outcomes data obtained from the calculation of prerequisite tests in the form of normality test and homogeneity test. After testing the prerequisites, then testing the results of data analysis using the T test, namely the Independent Samples t-Test. And the results of data analysis show that the application of the POE learning model can improve the achievement of students' basic competencies at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The results of the Independent Samples t-Test (t) of 8.410 with a p value of 0.000. Because the value of p <0.05, it is said that there is an influence between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the learning outcomes of the control class. Thus it can be said that the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model has a significant effect on improving the cognitive learning outcomes of Biology Students at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the outdoor learning approach on students' biology learning outcomes. This research was conducted in February - March 2023. The research location was carried out to class VII students of SMPN 14 Bengkulu City by giving test questions. This type of research is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental research design. The implementation used 2 research groups, namely the experimental class group and the control class group. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 14 Bengkulu City as many as 231 people consisting of 8 classes for random sampling obtained class 7.2 which totaled 32 consisting of 18 boys. 14 girls and class 7.1 which totaled 32 consisting of 16 boys 16 girls. The data collection method was in the form of tests taken directly from the pretest and posttest scores of student learning outcomes in both the experimental class and the control class. The results of the study show that: There is an effect of Outdoor Learning on biology learning outcomes for class VII students. This can be seen from the results of the average pretest score of the experimental class and the average pretest score of the control class, the average posttest score of the experimental class is greater than the average posttest score of the experimental class. control class. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the outdoor learning approach on the learning outcomes of class VII students. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the outdoor learning approach on the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 14 Bengkulu City.
